Synopsis

After saving the world from the destructive might of Majin Buu, Gokuu Son and his allies look forward to a well-earned rest. However, unbeknownst to them, their battle was recorded and observed by Gomah, an evil being who assumes the title of King in the Demon Realm, filling the void left behind with the death of former ruler Dabura.

At Gomah's side is Degesu, the younger brother of Higashi no Kaioshin, a being who lords over the universe. Jealous of his brother's power, Degesu works alongside Gomah to steal Earth's Dragon Balls and preemptively subdue any potential future enemies. Calling upon the power of the legendary dragon Shenron, Gomah wishes for Gokuu and his friends to be reverted into children, intending to rob them of the limitless power that defeated Buu. With Earth's greatest warriors shrunken down, Gomah abducts Dende, the planet's acting god.

But Gokuu refuses to be set back by his new body, working to master his younger form to fight as proficiently as he could as an adult. Joined by Kaioshin and Glorio—a mysterious but seemingly rebellious demon—Gokuu pursues Gomah to the Demon Realm in order to rescue Dende and restore his friends to their natural ages.

I really liked the show and here are some reasons:
-The soundtrack is awesome, the work they have producing this songs must be apreciated.
-The opening and ending are basically a love letter to Akira, his name is mentioned in one of the lines.
- The new characters are very well fit, they are basic but are very funny.
- THE ANIMATION, BEAUTIFUL compared to some episodes of Dragon Ball Super, and most of all the quality of animation doenst decrease in any episode.

The story: some parts of the story are a little boring and the screenplay is not elaborated, it's just a funny show with fanservice scenes ...

Mixed Feelings
Dragon Ball Daima is a very decent anime. I am in the middle of Dragon Ball as I review Dragon Ball Daima, so I have to admit that as much as I'm a new fan, I can't really admit that I am a HUGE fan, so I can't tell exactly what I'm supposed to like about this anime. It's cute and entertaining, but it also just plays out as simply and expectedly as an anime can. I mean that in most aspects: the animation, the plot, the humor... it's all just... tolerable.

There is a fair bit of charm that makes this anime lean towards ...

Is the story unique?
No. Not even close. Daima feels painfully predictable and uninspired. It brings nothing new to the table and somehow manages to disrespect SSJ4, which is honestly impressive in the worst way possible. Even for a Dragon Ball fan, there’s nothing here to stay invested in.

Art style & animation:
The animation is good, I’ll give it that. Clean, fluid, modern Toei quality. But good animation alone can’t save a bad story. A pretty shell is still an empty shell.

Characters:
The characters are flat and poorly written. No real strengths, no meaningful flaws—just dumbed-down versions of what they used to be. Some act unrealistically stupid just ...
