What's a guy to do when his life suddenly changes while innocently enjoying a nice, cold drink after work? And I mean really changes. This middle-aged commoner now finds himself in the body of Liam Hamilton, the young son of a noble house teetering on the brink of collapse. Between his fervidly desperate father and his utterly apathetic brothers, the only bright side to his new situation is that Liam can finally try learning magic like he's always wanted. I don't understand the negative reviews. Saying that this is bad, dude, you need a lesson in isekai to understand what bad really looks like.
Btw this is actually a pseudo-isekai, the MC says he "was drinking with friends after work" (= an adult) when he suddenly woke up in the body of a noble kid. Which hints at a "transmigration isekai".
But on one hand transmigration is usually only possible when the original "owner" of that body has just died (typically after a long sickness), which doesn't seem the case here.
And on the other hand he never mentions another world (tho he does invent something ... similar to asphalt).
It's left unclear how/why the transmigration happened, and if it was an isekai or not.

What I liked:
- the writer was inventive, creating some original stuff and giving them a certain plausibility, explaining how they work etc.
The creative approach to magic was entertaining.
- most characters, albeit rather shallow, are likeable enough.
- it has a nice feel-good effect, no drama, no real struggle. It allows the audience to forget for a moment how much struggle and drama there's in our shitty world.
- the MC has luck and talent, but also puts lot of effort and passion in what he does. He doesn't simply receive a cheat skill and become OP in an instant.
- there is minimal fanservice, and some of it is for girls (e.g. attractive muscular dudes), unlike how most fantasy stories are directed specifically to a male audience.
- it's very bingeable, most episodes were fairly entertaining.

What I disliked:
- it could have been a bit more articulate, a little deeper.
- there were 2-3 episodes in the mid that were meh, kind of filler or silly.
- I really didn't like the dracula part, it felt unnecessary, out of place.
- the pace is a bit too fast. I do like a relatively fast pace, but here it worked against the story because it highlighted the superficiality of the plot.
- a few of his familiar monsters, when turned into a high-familiar took form of a loli. I felt it was cringe and stupid.

It's no masterpiece really, but it's more than enough for a pleasant, feel-good, "don't think too much" binge.

Mixed Feelings

Well, there's not much to say
It's your typical anime to relax with in the afternoon and not think too much

There aren't big twists or notable character development, just the protagonist dealing with his excessive power and dealing with various issues typical of Isekai
They skip over important situations, simply omitting them
and moving on to the next part or situation in question, which leaves a kind of empty or incomplete feeling for the advancement of the story, but you can't ask too much of the story either
It can be predictable in several aspects, but sometimes there are small subplots that manage to surprise you
If you like isekais ... and don't mind clichés, then no problem, but if you dislike them, then it's definitely not for you

There's good music appropriate to the moment and place, the medieval European setting fits well, and then there's a contrast with technological advances and engineering developments within the cities, and various concepts of political strategy are applied to influence diplomatic relations.

So, in short, you can waste around 12x20 minutes on a power fantasy with zero bite to it if you decide to watch this title.
Let's go over a checklist?
- Extreme powercreep - check
- "Comfy" slavery - check
- Clueless world inhabitants - check
- Magic is supreme, yet gated, yet recognizable by masses - check
- Underage MC surrounded by women - check
- Implied sexual tension that stays just there - check
- Stakes being raised constantly, yet steadily less satisfying to watch - check
- Off-scene "training" - check
...
Overall, this is, yet-another-half-ass-harem-isekai with MC being handed everything, acting like a benevolent ruler with zero ambition and no real goals. I'd suggest fast-forwarding through the plot, but there is not really anything to scroll to?

Hey at least I finished a couple of my gacha-of-choice hardmode stages, while the last episodes mumbled nonsense in the background.
