Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore ni dake Uzai

Well, I really liked the anime. At first, I didn't have much faith in it because of the animation, since it's one of my favorite novels and I was a little scared, but the result wasn't so bad after all, and I'm glad about that. At first, I didn't like seeing so many people comparing Iroha-chan to Himari from Danjo, but luckily it seems that everyone reconsidered. If you want to know what happens next, I recommend reading volume 2 of the novel for more details that won't disappoint you. Iroha is a super cute and sexy heroine who secretly loves our protagonist, and although ... she seems to annoy him, she would actually do anything for Aki and supports him in everything. She may be annoying, but deep down she's a godsend. As for Mahiro, I have to say that I was able to connect or empathize with her even more in the anime than in the novel. I must admit that she is very cute, but my favorite is still Iroha. I also liked how the anime played with the chemistry between Aki and Ozu. It totally captures how it is in the novel, but they give it that touch that makes them look like lovers to please fujoshis like Sensei. As for Midori, she'll leave everyone for Aki later on, but we'll see her in a second season. She's cute too. For pure enjoyment, I give it a 8/10.

This was a fun ride, and I'd watch s2 if ti comes out. I liked all the characters, but I think I've watched too many anime like this. At this point, I get upset when there is no movement between the first and last episode. I did not watch this thinking its a slice of life so its an annoying feeling here at the end. I don't like the MC either — somehow good at everything yet super oblivious only for romance. The art and animation was good though, no complaints.

Not sure why MAL is asking me to write more lines to fill this review. ... I just want to use it to log my own opinions of the show, not necessarily to share with others.

Absolutely horrendous. Boring, and honestly felt like a cheap knockoff of Saekano. There were way too many sexual jokes, to the point where it became exhausting rather than funny.

I was initially interested because I expected it to be a solid comedy anime. When the plot started to resemble Saekano—with a group coming together to create a game—I actually got invested, especially since it also uses the fake-couple trope, which I usually enjoy. Unfortunately, the execution was extremely weak and nowhere near the level of Saekano.

The romance was confusing and frankly very annoying. It lacked clarity and emotional buildup, making it hard to care about any ... of the relationships. The comedy also failed to land for me; most of it relied heavily on sexual jokes and fanservice rather than genuinely clever or well-timed humor.

On top of that, the production quality was very mid. The character designs were unremarkable, the visuals didn’t stand out, and the music and overall scoring were forgettable. There was nothing technically impressive to compensate for the weak writing.

Overall, it just didn’t work for me at all. Definitely not it, in my opinion.
