Nageki no Bourei wa Intai shitai

As dungeon-like treasure vaults started appearing throughout the land, more and more people began signing up as treasure hunters—risking their lives to obtain the vast riches and ancient relics inside. In the imperial capital of Zebrudia, the top hunter party is the Grieving Souls—a group of six childhood friends led by Krai Andrey, who is thought to be the strongest of them due to having a reputed wide array of skills.

However, Krai actually has no special talent. His accomplishments are actually the result of his friends being overpowered. Krai has repeatedly attempted to leave the party out of fear his lack of aptitudes would one day cause his companions' downfall. Nevertheless, everyone around Krai thinks differently, making him feel obligated to remain the group's leader.

This is beyond masterpiece xD
Finally We got another anime of this kind after Eminence in shadow
Usually in other anime mc pretend to be weak when they are actually strong. But here my guy is weak as fk but he has to pretend to be stronger lol .. and beo has some crazy luck it's like the gods them selv's are working to make this guy look good .. 🤣🤣
He is not your typical mc. Bro is a unique piece .. no the entire anime is unique every part of it 🤣

The character of Krai was made for only two types of people either hate him ... or just love him because how funny his monologue and circumstances are.

There opening style is quite different and unique .. i like it.

What man i like the show very much the comedic misunderstanding is so funny u won't stop laughing when you remember a scene or two doing other things.. and Mc has lack of interest in ladies is actually great.. he has friends who thinks he is a GOAT .. but my bro just wants to retire he doesn't want those power and staff , but everyone just imagining him more op making it harder for him to retire..lol

Though to be fare MC's personality is badass and even though he is weakest pretending to be the strongest he relies on his luck he 8s actually smart in hidding his lack of power at least anything other than that he is super tardy.. lol .. he may not look like it but he actually is kind but he doesn't act like that..

The main plot for this anime is not about action but about let's see how long bro can keep his acts or will he succeed by retiring 😂

Mixed Feelings

In a genre full of OP main characters that battle lv 1s it's not a bad idea to reverse the trope. Have the weakest character possible be the leader and surround him with OPs in world where even a magical puppy could cuddle him to death, literally.


If you've heard about the show "Eminence in Shadow" then this is the kind of character that MC is aspiring to be.

The mysterious guy manipulating events behind the scenes. Who is operating on a level far beyond the comprehension of mere pawns. MWHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Well, that's the image anyway. The whole joke of the show is that it's all ... a bluff and the MC either lucks into these situations or the characters twist his words around to fit the narrative.

Premise is 10/10
Execution though is more like a 6/10.

Watching someone with zero motivation, skills or urgency is not fun. I don't mind that he has no OP powers but he needs some goal ....or personality. It's boring to watch someone simply get everything handed to him on a silver plate. To see those that worked for their position bend the knee to someone that's put in no effort.

Entertaining premise, good art and animation, questionable staying power. I've already forgotten the MC's name.

Story: 1/10

It has a very generic fantasy setting and the plot naturally suffers from being full of those tropes. The writing is bland and only gets worse.

Characters: 5/10

I was actually surprised by how charming and even unique some of the characters are, but they all lack real development. Krai is particularly hilarious.

Animation: 4/10

... It's not good. The budget didn't go into the animation at all.

Music: 5/10

Decent OP and that's it.

Enjoyment: 7/10

Despite everything, I still enjoyed this show. Hope to see more of Lucia.

Overall: 4/10

I'll watch the next part, BUT if you're looking for a mind-blowing anime, stay away from this one.
