[Oshi no Ko] 3rd Season

I have watched season 1 and season 2 and i could say season 3's animation is even better than those 2 seasons. and this arc is even more darker than those 2 seasons. so far i love this anime. and slowly characters are getting their own developments. this season's highlight is Ruby which is quite obvious and she is serving so well[just watch the episodes!] I love how each character is actually in the right here from their own perspective, you cannot really blame anyone and how much calculating a person can be in real life, not unrealistic level of manipulation. there is so much ... to learn from here which is very impressive because the information they gave out are quite real tho they nerfed it because it's anime but still told so many of them.
Overall i liked it. the way everything was represented and the arc of this season. I hope you won't regret watching this.

After watching season 3's first episode, I rewatched the 1st and 2nd seasons.
I’d forgotten just how gripping and sophisticated this series actually is and how it cleverly disects the disquieting culture of the asian (Japan) entertainment industry. I was drawn to the series, as it balanced darkness, reality and humor splendidly. There really isnt any other anime quite like it, that i've seen. I was captivated and intrigued with the series from the very first episode, which was 90 min long with the image of dead Ai creepy af. And, It's keeping me engaged in this 3rd season. In the 1st season, Akane attempts ... to commit suicide after facing brutal online backlash (Eerily similar to the lead actress's suicide in Bloodhounds K-drama. The actress received a deluge of public backlash which destroyed her professionally and financially after a DUI incident mid-production. Sadly, she eventually took her own life from the fallout (Ive never seen any of her interviews nor have I read any articles about her prior. Maybe she wasnt a good human being IRL? Still a sad story though) Not to mention completely killing the momentum of Bloodhounds which would have otherwise made my top 5 K-drama list)

The story has a unique premise. Sci-fi / Mystery / Revenge, while brilliantly exposing the dark underbelly of the entertainment industry with a blend of good humor into the mix. The story and characters are alluring and well developed. The art/animation is stylistically very good and matches the premise of the series. And, the details in the characters' eyes is an imaginative way of conveying their qualities and emotions. I especially like the bit when the twins found out about each other being able to speak as infants and use their powers of speech to control the manager's young wife 😂 who ends up becoming their foster mother (who I think is the most attractive female in the show BTW. Cool, calm, collected mid 30's) was endearing.

Other clever details:
-The opening/ending scenes & OST for each season. It perfectly mirrors the show's transition from vibrant pop-fantasy to dark mystery and fits nicely in tonal synergy. I like it!
-The Japanese voice actress for Arima Kana is spot on funny af and brings out the very essence of the character.
-The associative montages in between the scenes as each actor acts out their part in the play in season 2 is brilliant!

This work is meticulously crafted, where every detail feels entirely intentional.
I feel that the story will keep getting better. I have not read the LN/manga for this anime. It may sway me to start reading it.
