Akuyaku Reijou wa Ringoku no Outaishi ni Dekiai sareru

On the day before her downfall, Lady Tiararose Lapis Clementille recalls that she is in an otome game that she had once played in her former life. She used to adore the main love interest Prince Hartknights Lapis-Lazuli Lactomuth, but unfortunately, she was not reincarnated as the heroine, but rather as is his worst enemy—the villainess fiancée.

At their graduation ceremony, without blinking an eye, Hartknights condemns Tiararose for alleged crimes, breaks off his engagement, and proclaims the heroine Akari as his new bride-to-be. No matter whether Tiararose is innocent, he banishes her from the kingdom. But before her sentence can be carried out, a shocking figure appears. Aquasteed Marineforest, the prince of a powerful neighboring country, has been harboring feelings for Tiararose for quite some time, and announces his intention to marry her!

Preliminary (3/12 eps)

Fairly generic even for the Villainess genre. Start with rejection, move to acceptance, find true love... all in episode 1. Episodes 2 & 3 advanced the plot exactly zero... The animation quality in places is almost nonexistent. We get static shots with pans or pull ins / pull outs. The dialog from the MC is "I am embarrassed... but happy."

Episode three spent a great deal of time waving anime flags: "I will always love you princess" and "Let me serve you forever Princess" so we can be sure deus ex machina will wipe that away in episode 4 and restore it in episode 11 ... or 12.

The characters are cookie cutter at best and boring at worst. The sole relief from the monotony was every time she calls the prince Aqua Sama, I can hear to voice a Kazuma from Konosuba and can imagine a giant frog eating them all.

Sorry, I try to watch animes start to finish but this one is a drop.

Remember when we used to say "Better love story than Twilight?". Well, you are better off watching Twilight, because this anime is the epitome of SHALLOW.

As people pointed out: the animation is almost non-existent. You know what is also non-existent? The "Villainess" of this anime. She's an empty shell of "Miss Perfect" who, although claims to know the content of the game where she's inserted, has a total of 1 braincell and is never preparing for the plot development of her predictable life.

This anime's story is "modern" (riding on the already overused genre of 'Reincarnated Villaines') but the main characters are written like the ... old tales - the "damsel in distress" with an empty head, and the "knight in shining armor" that saves her. At least the male lead has a proper episode explaining the development of his feelings for the female lead: he has watched her everyday reading her book, and that's how he fell in love. Woah, so deep romance! Imagine asking someone in marriage just because you found them pretty after stalking them... Yeah, nop.

Animating this story was a mistake. The *lack of* animation of this anime was also a mistake. There's no enjoyment in watching this, and if you have a bare minimum of standards when watching your animes, you will steer away of this one.

The show just feels very shallow, I can't lie. I'm all up & for the romance, sure, but it's stalker-ish and "look a prince saves me kyaa! I'm wearing rose-tinted glasses!" sort of thing. It's your typical isekai anime, but done wrong.

It advances way too fast. Like why are we engaging and kissing in the first episode??? I didn't know the Villainess was a damsel in distress, either. She's basically manhandled half of the time by the love interest Aqua, except when she stood up for herself or spent quality time with her family. By the way, she doesn't even know the guy beyond ... status and a first meeting! They always passed by each other, but there was absolutely no reason for her to foster any emotion towards him aside gratitude for him saving her. I understand that her reincarnation was nothing like the actual villainess and was more the otome player, but come on.

I guess one upside is that I like Hartknights. He basically realizes he was charmed by the Heroine and lowkey gets a brain.

The animation.... I don't know, it's bearable but sort of lazy with the CGI, and it's stiff at best.

Aqua, oh Aqua the man you are. There's something so weird about how he behaves with Tiararose. Like I wrote, it's obsessive and weird. I was hoping for a slow burn but it moved way too fast and it's icky. You saw a girl once outside, you admired her and obsessed over her while she didn't even know of your existence, and go straight to marrying? There's basically no development there. & Tiararose kept getting flustered. It's surface level.

Also #HartknightsSpinOff???? Because his writing is actually good and not just white knight for the Heroine or Villainess. Has done wrongs, but recognizes them and knows boundaries.

Overall, I'll still watch this anime just so I can witness JUST how bad it is. This has to be one of the worst shows I've watched of all time.
