Note:
As always this is purely personal opinion. If I didn't recommend a series it's probably because I haven't watched it yet, if I have watched it I doubt I hated it, I probably just didn't enjoy it as much as what I recommended.

Winter:
1. Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Ren
So needless to say this would be on the list. Chuunibyou Ren is the sequel to one of my favourite animes and despite the amount of disappointment people seem to have with this series I for one really enjoyed it... This may be down to the fact that I didn't go in expecting to get the exact same feeling as I did going into season 1, However season 2 hardly disappoints in this aspect it's still more of what I enjoyed about season 1. The other complain I heard a lot of was that the season really didn't have much progression in regards to the characters and their relationship, I find this point to be kind of invalid as the first season proved what type of relationship the main characters have, A more emotional based slow developing (in terms of holding hands etc.) relationship. For these reasons I would recommend watching Chuunibyou Ren.

2. Mikakunin de Shinkoukei
As I'm quite new to watching anime as a proper hobby this series was actually one of the first series I watched in subbed (because of dyslexia I found it quite hard to keep up with subtitles) and I'm extremely glad I decided to try watching subbed again because this is one of the series that I enjoyed a lot. Though it's not perfect after watching the series I was left wanting more because of the development later in the series. Here's hoping for a second season ;)

3. Nisekoi
Where to even begin with Nisekoi... Just the idea behind this series was enough to spark my interest, 2 people who get possibly the worst first impression of each other have to pretend to be in a relationship with each other while the main male character is in love with a different girl. Now I know what you're thinking, and yes this is obvious harem bait... it may as well walk round with it stamped on every characters forehead... However the animes sense of humour and delivery along with the fake relationship aspect of the anime make it far too enjoyable not to recommend.
Note: Season 2 is airing in Spring 2015 and I'm really looking forward to it.

4. Sakura Trick
Sakura Trick was to me a very good series for a few reasons but for the main reason that for once instead of just having implied sexual attraction between two female characters, there was actual attraction which was completely out in the open from episode 1. This is the only time I've really seen this subject touched on in anime in this sort of depth. Although it seems like a really unique anime it does highly emphasize the kissing aspect of any of the relationships in the series (sometimes a bit too much) though this doesn't hold the series back too much.

Spring:
1. Baby Steps
This has to be the first sports anime I actually watched. I enjoyed this series because it actually shows the character starting from the very beginning with no natural ability or experience (though he does gain ability extremely quick), this also means that the viewers don't need to know the rules of the game to enjoy it because the anime explains the rules. Though it is a sports anime there is also an underlying relationship developing between the two main characters of the series which is really nice to watch it develop. Overall the series is watching an average guy start to play tennis and fall for a girl who attends his school and also plays tennis.
Note: A second season is going to air in Spring 2015

2. Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou
Possibly the strongest thing about the series is the characters. The supporting cast of characters actually add to the story especially when it comes to the comedy aspect of the series. Though the series isn't really original it still has a well told story with a strong set of characters which made it a very enjoyable watch, If you're looking for a light hearted romance with a good sense of humour I'd recommend watching this.

3. Haikyuu!!
Ah... Haikyuu!! Now this anime surprised me. I went into this not really knowing what to expect, however I thought I might find myself watching something that had the same generic tropes of any sort of sports related film/anime/etc where a team of not so good players all team together and become the best team in the world with nothing but determination and dumb luck... Haikyuu!! is not this type of anime... I went into the series which revolves around a sport (volleyball) which I have never watched any sort of match let alone learnt the rules of the sport... This did not lower the enjoyment factor in the slightest; it actually probably made it more enjoyable to watch. Even though this is a sports anime the thing that really shined in the anime was the interactions of the characters and the comedy, This series has some of the best timed jokes I've saw in anime and it really had me laughing (even when I was watching episodes at 3am) all I would suggest is going into this anime with an open mind and you'll surely enjoy it.

4. Isshuukan Friends.
Isshuukan Friends/One Week Friends is a series I went into looking for a heart warming story, though I found a bit more than what I was looking for. This series asks the question "How hard would someone work to be your friend" the two main characters in the series become friends over the week and on Monday they start a new and each week without fail they start their friendship again. If there is one thing I can say about this series it's that it has it's happy and sad moments but it is a good watch and it left me wanting more.
