Anime Relations: Naruto
You first need to understand pain for true peace to exist - kinda.
Well, he's not entirely wrong.
Long-lasting peace can't really be appreciated for what it is if we've never experienced anything other than peace.
Just as many of us didn't really realize how free we were in life until after Covid struck and our freedom was curtailed.
How we complain about objectively small things just because we can't take them for anything but granted and ubiquitous.
How we feel envy for things of others because we have forgotten that what we have is actually much more than what our parents and grandparents lived with.
Unfortunately, life is far more complex than what is dealt with in Naruto, yet there is always a fantastic core that makes you think.
Basically, what I want to say is:
Naruto is an entirely different kind of story than I expected. Much darker and much more true to life.
(I mean SBR is really good in that regard, but I, franlkly speaking, didn't understand some parts as they were themized in a too complex way. I need to re-read it once I have gained some more experience in life)

This is a piece of art! It's astonishing how clearly Asano Inio can depict the worse half of humanity. Unbelievable
If feels frighteningly real >_<
This one centence from the synopsis says it all:
"As they grow up they come to learn what it truly means to be an adult, in a world where adults seem to be demons who only deceive and destroy. They come to learn the real threat to humanity is not the Invaders, but humanity itself."

And:
The Naruto (Classic) Anime is a solid 7/10 imao. It has its moments and it has its weaknesses. Maybe I could rate it higher if I didn’t read the manga before watching it. Because the Manga was at the point of the Gaara-Story a 10/10

NARUTO
Anime Relations: Naruto: Shippuuden
April 11th, not even a month after picking up Naruto, I was throgh the first 27 volumes. WTF?! I didn't realize how much I read back in March/April 2021
Anyway, due to man things (life's ought to be a struggle, am I right haha), my pace went down significananytly. That doesn't mean I'm not enjoying reading it. I love it. It's a masterpiece imao.

Naruto chapters ~350-382 were soooo good. Omg. Goosebumps all the time and to the end I was close to tears. Holy fugg. It was epic. (actually, a few tears came down)
I'm way to invested in the story hahaha *cries
OMG up to 394 its been conistantly amazing! Ill go get some sleep. But I need to continue ahahahaaaa xD

I'm now at vol 47 and wonder how this can go on for so much longer as many things seem to near some kind of conclusions.

Steel Ball Run
Reminiscing about Steel Ball Run makes it inherently better than I thought it was while reading it!
It was a truly fascinating story about many aspects of human behaviours, how a person is defined by what happens to them and how they can change due to believes alone.
A story about how good characters aren’t all that good and often enough selfish.
…about how charismatic people are great leaders even tough they might be wrong in their pursuit but be remembered as the one who did nothing wrong…

Yotsubato
So, I've read chapter 8 & 9 yesterday evening and can enjoy it. My Japanese got to the level where I can kinda smoothly read most of the dialogue.
Chapter 8 was perfect as there were only children present, and they use “children language” that's certainly easier to comprehend xD
Anyhow, it's a great read! Funny and sweet.
Of course, the journey to master Japanese is a long one, and even longer when you don't devote many hours a day towards it.
Nevertheless, I feel like I'm finally good enough to say that “I can read easy Japanese” xD
Awesome!!
But as I opened my JoJo volumes, I quickly realized that these are way too complicated. ahahaa sad life lel

(Also, I just learned that you can remove the anime relation)

Anime Relations: Naruto
I just started reading my first Japanese Manga. And I mean Japanese xD
Niiiice. It feels so good to read something I only dreamt of a year ago!
Yotsubato is often regarded as maybe the best Manga for Japanese learners as it's about a small girl exploring and learning about the world around her. And It's wonderful tbh. I like it.
I'm far from understanding all of what's being said but not too far from comprehending everything important that's happening. I still need a dictionary and I still need to reread many parts to get the meaning. But my pace is fast enough for me to enjoy it.
I'll be learning harder from now on. Lets GOOOOO xD
(for some weird reason its mandatory to affiliate an anime with every post. Why no manga?! Well, Naruto again)

Anime Relations: Naruto
So, I've been reluctant to read/watch Naruto for the longest time as I mostly only heard about how many fillers there are. Well, in the Anime at least.
DragonHunter told me that this isn't really a problem and that Naruto is good but he preferred me to read OnePiece as this is his fav Manga.

So two weeks ago Kaede also talked about how Naruto is epic and then I just began the journey, I guess. And what a journey it is!
After reading "part 1" as Kishimoto-sensei calls it (volumes 1-27) I'm happy to be reading it. It's really good.
And now that the first third of the story, the "training mega arc", is over, the main plot points will unfold themselves. At least that's what I anticipate rn.
I'm looking forward to the rest o the story. Bai Bai xD
