SPPMR: Mysterious Girlfriend X
Anime Relations: Nazo no Kanojo X
Nazo no Kanojo, or 'Mysterious Girlfriend X' isn't your typical romance. In fact, it's kind of difficult to classify it as one at times. You might want to label it as a genre of it's own by the time you're done with this series. You have Tsubaki, our soft-hearted male MC who seems to be inexperienced when it comes to girls in general, meet the new transfer student, Urabe, Mikoto. She's gloomy, she's quiet, and she doesn't seem to contain much sex appeal, so the class ignores her odd behavior.. such as sleeping throughout her classes, and bursting into laughter out of the blue. They label her as the 'weirdo' of the class. For one particular reason, these two form a bond and this is where the show starts to shine in it's own 'unique' way.
This isn't a series you'd want to show your parents, not because it's an 'ecchi', but because of the style of 'ecchi' presented. You don't have your typical panty shots, boobs and ass in your face, nor do you have one man surrounded by a harem of lustful woman. Urabe and Tsubaki are bonded together by means of each others drool. Yes. I said it. Drool. Every day after school, Tsubaki is force fed a bit of Urabe's drool, in order to keep him from suffering to withdrawal. This has to be one of the most disturbing things I have ever laid eyes on being an anime fan for 8 or so years. The drool is thick, long, and has 'flavor' apparently. Definitely 'ecchi' in a sense.
Despite all this being said, I really enjoyed this series. The characters, and particular scenarios mix well. Urabe, Mikoto has to be one of the most appealing female MC's I've seen in a while. On top of that, her voice actor being new to the industry surprised me as well. She only brings out Urabe's unique 'sex appeal' even more. The show is definitely worth a watch just for her, and the character development is superb. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a unique experience in the ecchi/ romcom genre. 9/10 thumbs up! Besides, who couldn't like this?..

SPPMR: Tonari no Seki-kun
Anime Relations: Tonari no Seki-kun
Time for my first attempt at 'SavagePixel's Personal Mini Review'. Let's do this! Alright so I was recommended this show by a good friend, as well as hearing it being compared to the likes of Nichijou. I couldn't just ignore that now could I? As it turns out, this short-length anime provided for some great moments of laughter. It has the similar school life setting as every other slice of life, however the majority of the show takes place in one area of the class; the corner-back of the room, where Yokoi and Seki are seated. The show is episodic, and within each episode we have Seki-kun, our curious, mute-male MC stirring up his antics on his lonesome. Whether it be playing with toy robots, or creating dominos out of 100 erasers he keeps in his backpack.. Seki-kun is always up to no good, rather than paying attention in class.
Now here's the fun part. Yokoi, Rumi seats directly across from Seki, she prefers to be a dignified student that writes down her notes, and pays attention in class. However due to her having an over excessive imagination, perhaps worse than Seki-kun himself, she finds herself distracted by Seki's antics each and every time. Shogi pieces become foot soldiers, Toy Robots have their own family and act on their own accord. Yoki really wants to pay attention in class but she can't because of her active imagination. She finds herself like a magnet to Seki kun and his little charades.
The cast of characters aren't plenty, but they do manage to keep consistent variety of humor to the show. Overall, I enjoyed this from beginning to end, and if you have some spare time on the side, watching an episode or two takes no time at all. It goes by in a flash, and you might just laugh your pants off every episode. I highly recommend this to anyone that's a fan of the slice of life/comedy.

A Quest to Happiness

SYNOPSIS: The Ancient Emerald has been protected for millenniums by the next heir of the castle, century, after century, without fail. It is until the castle town erupts into chaos, that our characters are thrown into each others path.. IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE.
It is nothing but serene, tranquility, at Hangout Castle. The sky is blue, the trees are green, birds are chirping, and people are laughing and prancing about the village. There has never been a more peaceful day than today. The kind village of Hangout Castle is celebrating their 5,000th anniversary of the Ancient Emerald, which has kept their castle safe from the outside darkness that looms on it's barrier. Our story starts seeing the King and Queen hosting their grand feast, as a gift to their villagers..
Queen Hart: "It is my pleasure this evening, to bring you all this wonderful buffet, that which of course, our wonderful chefs of Hangout Castle, who more than happily, made for us today! [She presents the grand table filled with nothing but plates of potatoes], Oh how I LOVE potatoes! [Overcome with joy],
[The King bows as he takes his seat with the Queen, and all of the village may now eat potatoes to their hearts desire]
Villagers: "HURRAH!!!"
[The hall is filled with hearty laughs and rose filled cheeks, as alcoholic refreshments are chugged down and minds at peace from any possible danger, whatsoever]
Queen Hart: "Oh Andre! Andre! Where are you?!" ..
[Her loyal soldier, standing 10ft tall, muscles built to take down any threat in an instant]
Andre Giant: "Yes, senpai madame, how may i assist you?"
[His voice booms the room]
Queen Hart: "Will you ever so kindly bring forth our entertainment for tonight?"
[She shoots him a glare]
Andre: "Of course my Queen.."
[He kneels down, attempting to grab her hand for a gentle kiss, the Queen presses his lips tight with her fingers]
QH: "I hope you know who's in charge around here.."
[She snaps a look at King Matthew]
"So don't even think about it".
Andre:"How could I be so foolish my Queen, perhaps I just need to control myself by some other manner.."
[He slowly walks off in deep thought and slight depression]
"What could it POSSIBLY be?!" [The gentle giant sobs to himself]
[The feast is near it's end, as Andre Giant brings out it's closing entertainment, Alexei the Clown. He strolls out on an incredibly small unicycle, awaiting for Andre to toss him his items to juggle. He juggles a tire, a flower pot is thrown into the mix, and eventually he's juggling 13 items at once, dangerous ones and all!]
Alexei"and for my finishing act.."
[He signals Andre, and Andre carefully places a blindfold around Alexei]
"Voila!"..
[He amazes the crowd, and gains a standing ovation. It's not until he tries to stop, that he can't maintain his act. He swerves, back and forth, items dropping let and right, bouncing toward the audience, causing potential danger. He's almost to a stop when a unsheathed dagger soars from his hands and redirects towards the Queen]
Sir Isaac Maximus: Your Majesty!
[He springs into action, and within that instant, his large golden crested shield has guarded the Queen from harm's way. The dagger clangs to the ground. The Queen is shocked, however she is relieved. She has always been proud of her Royal Knights. That being said, Sir Isaac is the 1st Knight of the Order, surpassing all others, most certainly earning him of his rank]
Matthew Hart:" Thank you! You have saved my Queen yet again.. I could not thank you enough. Come, drink with me![/b]
[The Knight nods in favor, and they exit the hall. Meanwhile the Queen calms down the folk, and the night comes to an end]
....
[Later that night, King and Queen Hart are preparing themselves for bed, after a long, exhausting, but exhilarating day.]
QH: "Come 'ere girl, come 'ere!"
[She pats her lap with a bright smile on her face, as she greets no one other than, Pixie, her beautiful pet cat]
Pixie "Purr. Meow. Purr."
[They shut the lights, the King kisses his Queen goodnight, and their beautiful Cat Pixie, nuzzles in between them. It was a joyous day INDEED!]

[center][size=110]CHAPTER 2 - The Unexpected[/center][/size]
Characters Updated!
[It is almost time for all of Hangout Castle to wake. The King and Queen however, always wake up a little earlier than the rest in order for important preparations, each and every day. Sun is shining through their windows, and this begins yet another peaceful morning at Hangout Castle]
[color=green]Queen Hart:[/color] *Yawn*!
[She stretches her arms wide across the bed, and wakes up in a pleasant mood]
"That felt great! How do you feel dear?"
[color=green]King Hart: [/color] Wh-what..
[The king slowly opens up his eyes, and stares at his Queen above him]
"Wh-why am I on the floor?!" .. [The King is nothing but confused]
[color=green]QH:[/color] "Oh, you don't remember? Well, I guess you were sound asleep already. I kicked you out because this is MY BED. It belongs to me, and of course our adorable little Pixie Wixie!
[The Queens holds her up to the King with enthusiasm]
"Isn't that right my little pumpkin? [The Queen kisses Pixies forehead repeatedly]
Pixie: "Purr. Meow. Purr."
QH:Now, Matthew, if you'll excuse me.. I'm going to start refreshing myself with a morning shower.."
KH:"Sure thing dear.."
[The King sighs to himself. He glances over at Pixie, who is already staring at him]
[color=purple]Pixie[/color]"Meow"
[The King realized a bit of sass in that one meow. What did the King ever do to his wife and this stupid little furball, the King thought to himself. Pixie walks over to her ball of yarn, as the King steps out the door]
[We meet Alexei down in the halls, attempting to keep himself busy as he awaits orders from the King and Queen]
Jester Alexei:"WO-WO-WOAAAH!"
[Alexei falls on his chin, tripping over the stool of a chair, as he tries to get passed the dining room. He spots the King walking in, and immediately attends to him, feeling a little dizzy from the fall]
"Y-Your Majesty! What shall I do today?" [His voice a bit shaky]
KH:"I want you at the center of the village, I plan on enjoying such a beautiful day. Entertain the people, put on your best show!" [They both stare out the window, embracing the sunlight]
JA:"Y-Yes of course.." [The frantic Jester runs off, exiting the castles large front doors]
....
[Andre Giant is seen towering over the village, walking down the street minding his own business, when he spots Sir Isaac far up in his own quarters, staring off the balcony]
[b]Andre:[/b]"Hey! Isaac buddy!
[Andre's voice booms, Isaac taking a notice to it from a mile away, takes a sigh to himself, and walks back inside his house. He opens the door, meeting Andre at the front]
Sir Isaac:"Yes Andre, what is it?
Andre:"It's great outside isn't it? You having a good morning? [Andre says with high enthusiasm and glee in his voice]
Sir Isaac:"It almost was.."
Andre:"Hey, hey! Did you hear? I heard her Majesty is hiring new Knights into the Order. Some tough looking guys too! Just thought I should tell ya'."
[color=brown]Sir Isaac:[/color]"She's what?.." [Isaac's stern voice startles Andre]
"Where did you hear this from?"
[color=gray]Andre:[/color]"Oh, the men themselves told me! I asked if they were new to the village, and the fella told me his story. They spoke to the Queen herself and she obliged. Then he challenged me to an arm wrestling match after that and pounded me to the floor! Don't know what for, but he must have immense strength, huh Isaac?"
[b]Sir Isaac: [/b]"I don't have a good feeling about this.. wait here"
[Isaac rushes off to the castle, searching everywhere for the King and Queen. They're nowhere to be found, until he hears the Queen's high pitched screams]
"Your majesty!" [He rushes off to her voices direction, bashing the door open to her bedroom]
"My Queen!" [He turns to stone as his eyes take in the naked flesh of the Queen, and the King frozen in position while still inside her]
"I-I'm terribly sorry! [He slams the door shut, remaining on the outside]"I-I just have what I think might be important news.."
QH&KH:"What is it?!" ..
[Isaac speaks to them from outside the door]
[color=brown]Sir Isaac:[/color]"Well.. did you appoint a brand new group of Knights to the Order?.. I'm just wondering. Since we haven't even had the need for a unit... and apparently these guys were pretty tough..Is something happening? "
[The King and Queen are mystified. They both begin to dress themselves, then opening up the door for Sir Isaac. With astonished looks on their faces]
[color=green]QH:"[/color]We haven't appointed a new Knight since we put you in the Order Isaac, there wasn't ever a need to.. What are you talking about?"
[The castle is then shook with a loud rumble from underground. The Queen almost falls over, but the King holds on to her and the three are struck with confusion. The village is flooded with screams, as the protective barrier surrounding the entirety of Hangout Castle, and its village is slowly coming down.]
KH:"The Emerald! Someone's secured the Emerald!"
[Isaac rushes off to confront whoever did this, and the King and Queen evacuate to safety. King Matt comes up to the tip top of the castle, and stands stern at its balcony.]
KH: Everyone of Hangout Castle! The Emerald has been taken out of it's place. Someone in our very village has deliberately taken down our defenses. Please evacuate yourselves to safety, this is not a drill. We are under attack. I repeat, We are under attack!"
[center][size=150]CHAPTER 3 - Best Interests [/center][/size]
[After all of Hangout Castle was caught off guard, the village was thrown into utter chaos, and the King trying to maintain order to his people. The people and soldiers of Hangout Castle had not seen war in over 5 millennium. They had long growed accustomed to a carefree life, and preparations for this kind of situation had not been put into thought. The King and Queen were sure the Emerald were to be secure for a very long time, how could this happen? The King and Queen were unsure.]
King Hart:"As the King, I promise to keep each and every one of you out of harm! Do not worry my beloved people. Stay inside your homes, and we will take care of the rest."
[The King walks away, sure sounding in his voice, but doubtful in his mind. He doesn't let the villagers know this, to suppress the panic. He rushes on over to his Queen to reconfirm her safety. Krystal is lost in her thoughts as the King steps into the room.]
Queen Hart:"They took her didn't they?.."
[Her eyes swell up with tears, as she comes to a harsh realization. The Princess had been out on an errand, on the outskirts of the barrier. No report on her whereabouts had been called in for quite a while. The King and Queen thought nothing of this at the time, the unusual out of place weather that occurs on the outside of the barrier often slows down progress.]
QH:"Oh god, please let her be okay.."
[King Matt sits beside her, comforting her head to his chest]
King Hart:"Our little girl is strong sweetheart.. as bright and brilliant as the moon." [The King tries to conceal his emotions as usual, shouldering the burden of all possible harm to come to his Queen and his people.]
QH:"Oh Luna.." [The Queen lets out a light sob.]
Pixie:"Meow?..[Pixie jumps into the Queens lap, curling up into a ball, and nuzzling against her arm. ]
QH:"You're trying to comfort me too?"[Wiping the tears away, she gives out a chuckle]"I'm just no good am I.."
[Sir Isaac is seen dashing forth, making his way to the lower levels of the castle. ]
Sir Isaac:"Why did we have to be so damn short in military power? I can't cover this entire perimeter by myself! I might not even make it."
[He picks up speed a little, when he hears a faint voice as he's about to turn down this spiral staircase. He remains hidden. He peeks out from the corner of the wall and sees a mysterious figure cloaked in robes, speaking with who he guesses to be one of the enemy soldiers. The soldier salutes the man and runs off down the corridors of the castle basement. It's quite illuminated down here, so Isaac has to be careful as to not be spotted just yet.]
Sir Isaac:"Andre had told me these guys seemed tough, so I can't let my guard down, 1st Knight of the Order or not."
[However, Sir Isaac notices something shuffle underneath the mysterious figures hood. As well as him being accompanied by a bow and arrow.]
"Well, he came prepared.."
Mysterious Figure:"I know you're there, imbecile."
[The mysterious man takes down his hood.]
Sir Isaac:"Crap. I've been found out! How?!
[His eyes widen a bit when he notices what was shifting under the mans hood.]
"He's an Elf, but why? I thought we had made peace with them centuries ago."
Mysterious Elf:"You might want to try breathing a little less next time, pig. [The Elf gives an amused, but seemingly menacing grin. His pointy ears give out a twitch, sensing out Isaac as much as he can]
"Come out and play!" [Without a seconds notice, the Elf has pulled back and shot an arrow straight into Isaac's vicinity.]
Sir Isaac:"What's your game, Elf.. what have you done with the Emerald?"
Mysterious Elf:"Me? The Emerald? Hah! No."
[The Elf laughs] "I'm just a pawn you see.. I wouldn't know anything about the Emerald." [He continues to laugh to himself]
Sir Isaac:"That's bullshit. Then why are you even here? The whole town's gone into chaos, and you're the only unfamiliar face I see around."
[Isaac unsheathes his sword]
"You brought this on yourself.."
Mysterious Elf:"Hm. Oh did I now, Sunny boy?"
[Isaac grips his sword tighter, with an angry tremble]
Sir Isaac:"How.. How do you know that name?!
[Isaac charges for the Elf, sword pointed for a vital hit. The Elf shoots two quick shots, however all too slow for Isaac's swift movement. He dodges both with ease. Isaac leaps for the kill, when the Elf calmly lets his palm face outwards and freezes Isaac in his place, shooting him back with a light force field.]
High Elf:"Did you really think that was going to work?"
[He chuckles once again]"Your skills are going to waste, let me tell you that. So dedicated and quick to attack, yet so ignorant. I will never understand you humans."
[Isaac still stands tall]
Sir Isaac:"You're a High Elf. Where did you learn your magic in this day and age. The arts have long been abandoned, I can imagine you have no good reason."
High Elf:"My sources are not for your feeble human ears I'm afraid. The name's Frezed. I wish not to fight, but for you to understand that you have been deceived by these wretched people you call family.."
[Meanwhile, King Matthew is preparing the castles defenses]
KH:"I'm sorry Pixie, but could you do me a favor?"
[Pixie perks up and walks up to the King]
Pixie:"Meow?"
KH:"Good girl. Could you see if you can retrieve Alexei for me please? This is important, and I have other matters to attend to."
Pixie:"Meow, meow!"
[Pixie does not give the King a hard time considering the situation, and runs off]
Jester Alexei:"What do I do? What do I do? The whole place is in CHAOS and I don't know what to do. All I've ever done was bring these people comedy, and now there's nothing but TRAGEDY. I can't take it. I think I'm going to faint."
[Alexei paces around nervously, turning around for the last time and in turn accidentally stepping on Pixie's tail as she had just approached him]
Pixie:"Meow!"
[Pixie jumps up at Alexei and attacks his face]
JA:"Ow, OW! Stop! Okay, stop! I'm sorry!
[Alexei tries to furiously get Pixie off his face, grabbing her by her sides and suspending her midair, when he notices a note folded in between her collar. "Alexei, please come to the castle ASAP. Do not tell anyone else I called you. Be quick."]
JA:"A letter from the King.. finally something for me to do!
Ah.. being a jester is such hard work."
[He runs off to head up to to the castle doors, falling flat on his face in the first step]
"Oops.. heh"
Pixie:"Sigh. Meow.." [Pixie rolls her eyes in disappointment]
[Alexei arrives at the King and Queen's bedroom. Thankfully not making love this time, they get up to greet him.]
KH:"Wha-what happened to you?!"
[The Queen hand hovering over her mouth with a slight gasp]
JA:"Oh this?.." [Alexei is covered in numerous amounts of cuts and bruises]
"I just had.. a couple of accidents on the way over here. Haha. You know, just a fall or two, no big deal.."
[The King and Queen look at each other in doubt]
"Okay it was like 10! but does that matter?"
[Though the scratches were from Pixie, he doesn't mention that because it was his being clumsy as usual that made him step on her tail.]
KH:"Listen. I need you to do something for us, it requires you and Pixie together, as a team. Are you capable of this task? This is very important."
[Alexei gulps, and looks down at Pixie. Pixie gives off a smile]
Pixie:"Meow!" [Pixie salutes the King]
JA:"Y-Yes.. what is it? "
KH:"Now don't be alarmed but.. I need you to head out on the outskirts of the castle, and meet with 'him'.."
Characters Updated!
[Four years prior to the event, we meet a young Princess Luna outside on the castle garden gleefully watering her plants. Luna spends most of her time being around them, and if she isn't outside eye goggling her plants, she's inside the castles library reading textbook after textbook on the encyclopedias of plants. She's sharp, intelligent, and has a personality brighter than anyone in the castle. Her smile alone will bring the entire village up from the slumps, and is just as gorgeous as the Queen herself. It is the break of dawn, and so the village is filling up with it's cheerful citizens one by one. However the King and Queen seem to be in a little dispute.]
Queen Hart:"You must be out of your MIND Matthew. I am not letting our TWELVE year old daughter wander out on her own."
King Hart:"Listen to me Krys, she is more than capable of handling herself. Are you forgetting that she's our daughter?"
QH:"No, I'm not. That's exactly why I'm not letting her!"
KH:"She can handle herself Krys, she isn't inexperienced, she knows how to defend herself."
QH:"She's only twelve years old. You aren't doing this."
KH:"Alright Krys, how about this?.."
[The King sees off the Queen and Princess at the castle gate. The guardsmen await them beside the chariot. The Princess leaps into the King's arms for a goodbye hug and kiss.]
Princess Luna:"Bye daddy, love you!"
[The Princess blows a kiss]
"Muah!"
[King Matthew waves them off with a smile, and the two hop inside the carriage and close the blinds. The rider gives the horse its signal, and so begins their trip]
Princess Luna"Momma, where are we going?"
[b]QH:[/b]"Oh just to pick up some stuff dear, mommy's making a cake."
[The Queen gives off a smile to her little princess]
"Here's the list" [She hands the list over to the princess and with one look her eyes widen from the amount that's on the list]
[b]PL:[/b]"Wow! This is a lot momma, are we going to be able to do it?"
QH:"Of course dear, plus we have help right?"
[The Queen glances over at the guard riding the carriage]
"Right?" [Her voice sharpens towards him. With that he notices she's speaking to him.]
Guardsman Isaac:"Uh, right! Yes mam. Always a pleasure to help."
[Krys and Luna both laugh hysterically at Isaac's discomfort. Isaac had just been appointed to this new job of his, his nerves get the best of him in front of the Queen and Princess.]
PL:"Haha! Isaac is so cute when he gets like that momma."
QH:"Isn't he? He puts on a steel front, but if you look close enough, his heart is as warm as the sun."
PL:"Sunny! How cute! You doing okay up there Sunny? Be careful and make sure you don't burn the horse okay?"
[Luna giggles to herself for a while over that joke.]
Sir Isaac:"You're not helping my concentration guys. I want to be please you and the King, so please. Let me concentrate."
[The Queen laughs off his gesture]
QH:"Yeah yeah. Whatever you say macho boy."
[They arrive at their destination. Leaving out their carriage, Luna puts on her sunhat to protect her eyes from sunlight. She figures her eyesight is the sense that's most important to her. She claims "What would I do if I couldn't see? I would miss out on all that's beautiful". The princess is most pure indeed]
Guardsman Isaac:"Look, I've found some.
[Isaac walks over to a nearby bush, which holds black colored berries with a tint of purple to them.]
QH:"Mm. Echoberries. My favorite."
[Normally, these berries grow within the forest, but because of early risers, these are usually gone before dawn. It's name is given for the effect that's put out when the soundwaves of your voice bounce off the thin gel surrounding the berries itself. When speaking at a tone high enough inside a forest full of these 'Echoberry trees', this effect is taken place.]
PL:"I'll gather the cocoa beans Momma."
[She says with an enthusiastic tone, and runs down the path a little]
"Ouch!.."
[Isaac takes notice at Luna bent over on one knee, and heads on over to her]
Guardsman Isaac:"Are you okay Princess?"
PL:"Yeah.. I'm okay..I just tripped a little, haha.."
[She has a small scrape on her knee, which Isaac immediately attends to]
[b]PL:[/b]"Thanks Isaac.."
[The Princess notices the stern, yet sincere look on his face as he's patching her up. Her face turns a light pink and is lost in thought.]
PL:"He's serious about protecting us isn't he.."
Isaac:"What was that Princess?"
[b]Luna:[/b]"O-Oh nothing!" [She flails her arms in embarrassment for thinking out loud, standing herself up in that instant]
"Thank you!"
[She speed walks back over to her mother.]
Isaac:"Hm?.. She's a weird one."
Luna:"Momma, are we almost done yet?"
[b]QH:[/b]"Almost dear. We just need one more ingredient.."
Luna:"What's that momma?"
QH:"...Potatoes!"
[The Queen picks a white rose and places it behind Luna's ear.]
Luna"No momma, don't think you can hide how weird you are about potatoes by bribing me with flowers."
[Genuinely freaked out, she is really beginning to question if she is her mother's daughter.]
QH:"I will never understand how my own daughter doesn't share the same love I have" [The Queen shakes her head in disappointment]
"Are you really my daughter?"
Luna:"Enough with the jokes momma.."
[The three of them are on their way back to the carriage, when Luna hits something soft-like with her foot, and nearly falls over again]
"What is it today that I'm tripping so much? I'm not even the clumsy character!"
[She looks down and sees a small furball the size of her palm purring against her leg. The tiny creature looks up at her.]
Luna:"OH MY GOD! MOMMA LOOK."
[The Queen walks over and observes it]
"Momma, can we keep it pleassseee?"
QH:"No."
Luna:"Momma! Why not?"
[The Princess has always longed for an adorable companion. She's been asking for a pet ever since she could remember. The Queen always rejected the idea because she was afraid that Luna would become anti-social, she feels she spends too much time with her plants as it is.]
QH:"You know why. The answer is no."
Luna:"Sigh."
[Luna looks down at the adorable thing]
"I'm sorry buddy, there's nothing I can do."
[She pets it one last goodbye. However, the furball walks on over to the Queen, nuzzles against her leg and looks up to her with extremely beady eyes.]
Adorable Furball:"Meow."
[The Queen is struck. She has no idea how to respond to this. She just stares at it in complete silence]
QH:"Oh what the heck!"
[The Queen picks it up and nuzzles the creature against her face]
"Ahh, so soft.. so cute.. I can't get enough!"
[Luna facepalms, and just stares at what was suppose to be her pet]
Luna:[/b]"Thanks a lot, momma.."
Guardsman Isaac:"My Queen, we should head on back, it's getting a little dark out. We don't want to be out here when nightfall comes around remember."
[The Queen retains herself]
QH:"Oh yes, *cough* ..ahem.. certainly. Come on everyone, lets go back home."
[The two, well.. now three step into the carriage, and Isaac begins to escort them on their way back home]
Luna:"Come on Sunny. Faster, faster!"
[She laughs to herself and throws an echoberry at his head]
Isaac:"H-hey! I'm trying to ride here!"
Luna:"Sorry Sunny. I just can't help myself ~"
[She calms down, sits back and smiles to herself with a slight blush. Slowly drifting off to sleep in the Queen's arms, she is at peace.]
QH:"You two.."
[The Queen rolls her eyes with a smile]
"Youth."
Isaac:"Dammit. We took too long to finish up around here.."
[After a long day out with the Queen and Princess Luna, the group finds themselves surrounded, by what could only seem to be disfigured shadowed beings. Isaac stands guard out the carriage, protecting the Queen and Princess while they take cover inside. Isaac looks at his surroundings.]
"Dwellers huh.."
[The shadowed beings, aforementioned 'Dwellers', remain hidden among the trees, observing Isaac as they whiz on by in a circular formation.]
"There's quite a few of them.."
[In unison, several Dwellers spring towards Isaac with fierce movement. Isaac takes a quick look in all directions, leaps into the air leaving the Dwellers at his once standing position. Charging down with his sword from above, he crushes the pack in one fell swoop.]
"We better go before it gets any worse."
[Isaac sheathes his sword, only for him to turn around in utter shock. The Princess and Queen were gone from their carriage.]
"What.. where did they go?!"
[Isaac frantically looks around, when he hears a faint sobbing. He runs in it's direction to find the Queen holding Luna in her arms, bloodied hands and tears streaming down her face]
Queen Hart:"Isaac.. they nabbed her while you were fighting, I tried to fend them off but it was too late.."
[Isaac stares at the Princess's bloodied dress.]
Isaac:"No! Dammit. I couldn't even protect the Princess from a simple crowd of those .. SCUM."
[Isaac slams his fist down at the ground in frustration]
"My Queen.. I'm so sorry. Come on, we have to take her back to the infirmary."
[Isaac takes the Princess from her arms and carries her gently back to the carriage. Heading back, his head us full of hindering thoughts that throw him off the entire ride back home.]
"If only I could do better, If only I was stronger.. I'd be able to protect everything that was dear to me.. Luna.."
[He clenches his fist]
....
[Several hours later. Isaac stands over an unconscious Luna as she lays in bed, bandaged up and in the process of healing. His mind still racing from earlier.]
"I promise. To always protect you from now on. I shall see to it.. that you are never harmed, in any way possible."
[He turns to head out, but in that moment he feels something tug at his sleeve. With a weak smile, using all her strength to keep herself awake she speaks but two words.]
Luna:"Thank you.."
[The Princess falls back into a deep sleep, and Isaac is left with a bit more hope than before.]
Isaac:"No Princess.. Thank 'you'".
[The heart stricken Knight, walks out the room to let the princess sleep off her wounds. However, up in the King and Queen's quarters..]
Queen Hart:"This is EXACTLY why I didn't want her out the castle barrier Matthew!"
King Hart:"C-Calm down dear.."
QH:"NO. You don't listen to me. I never wanted this from the start, but you just had to keep on insisting. Oh, she needs to seeeee the world. She needs to breathe the air outside the castle? That's all meaningless if it means my daughter being exposed to harm. She could have gotten killed!"
KH:"I know.. I made a mistake".
[The King cuffs his face in disappointment and sorrow]
QH:"This is the last time. Mark my words. The last time, she ever steps out of this castle without proper protection."
KH:"Yes dear.."
QH:"Shut up! Urgh! You just get me SO.. so.."
KH:"Forgive me!"
[The King gets on both knees]
" .. How many potatoes will it take this time?!"
[The Queens face lights up]
QH:"Potatoes ! Well maybe about.. WAIT NO! Not this time mister. You always try and pull that move with me every time I'm upset with you."
[She crosses her arms]
"Nice try.."
KH:"Darnit.."
[The King looks to the side, with a disappointed look on his face that the plan didn't work]
"Tch.."
QH:"Haah? What was that?!"
KH:"Oh-ho .. nothing.."
[He reassures with a nervous smile and sweat down his brow]
QH:"Mhmm.. Anyway. Want to see something curious?"
[The King a little puzzled]
[b]KH:[/b]"Um.. sure my love? As long as it isn't one of those ridiculous inventions from 'Him' again.. last one you ordered from him, the umm.. what was it called again? Right. The Tater-Formation! You had no idea what it did until you accidentally turned half of our soldiers into Tater Tots!" ..
QH:"Yes.. I remember that.. Hey at least I apologized about it afterwards.."
KH:"DIDN'T YOU EAT THEM?! How could you be sorry? You ate half our army!"
QH:"Ah the past is the past ~"
[She waves it off with a nervous laughter]
"Anyway, look!.. "
[She turns to pick up a cage laid out next to their bed]
KH:"Strange, didn't even notice that there.. what is it?"
[Krystal holds the cage open up to the King, and opens the latch. The King peers in closer.]
KH:"Oh well aren't you a cute one."
[He takes a finger to scratch behind the little furballs ears. She doesn't seem to like it much.]
QH:"Um.. dear.."
KH:"Yes?"
QH:"You're not familiar with cats are you.."
[It reaches out its claw and swipes at Matt]
KH:"Woah there.. close one. Nice try. You're not keeping this little devil are you?"
[Krystal hesitates]
QH:"U-Um.. well we have no choice.. Luna found it lost and I couldn't say no to her so.. looks like we are!"
KH:"You want to keep it for yourself don't you.."
QH:"Why not?! I never get to have anything for myself, and Luna doesn't need anymore distractions right now. It's fine.."
[Matthew shakes his head with a laugh]
KH:"That is so you.."
QH:"Hmph.."
[She looks away from him with a pout]
KH:"Well, are you going to name her?"
QH:"Pixie."
KH:"Pixie?.. May I ask why?"
QH:"Because she's so small.. just like a Pixie.. also because it's cute!"
KH:"Because it's cute.. Okay I'l give you that one."
QH:"It is cute.. isn't that right my adorable little Pixie Wixie?"
[She scratches underneath Pixie's chin]
Pixie:"Meow!"
[She purrs excessively. Leaping into Krystal's arms]
QH:".. and the family grows.."
[She smiles with tearful eyes.]

[Stepping into his room, Isaac shuts off his lights and gets himself comfortable for bed.]
Isaac:"I'm exhausted.. Such a long day.."
[He sits at the edge of his bed, head down and losing himself in thought for a moment]
"Well, tomorrow will be a better day right?"
[He lays down, arm resting over his face to begin his slumber.]
"At least I hope so.."
[He drifts off to sleep, barely able to hold himself awake for much longer.]
"Luna.."
[Moonlight shines through his window, on this quiet night it embraces the brave soldier, he falls deep into his dreams, dreaming only of what's dear to him. Thus the night is ended in peace, and relationships have deepened.]

SYNOPSIS: The Ancient Emerald has been protected for millenniums by the next heir of the castle, century, after century, without fail. It is until the castle town erupts into chaos, that our characters are thrown into each others path.. IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE.
CHAPTER 1 - Relations
It is nothing but serene, tranquility, at Hangout Castle. The sky is blue, the trees are green, birds are chirping, and people are laughing and prancing about the village. There has never been a more peaceful day than today. The kind village of Hangout Castle is celebrating their 5,000th anniversary of the Ancient Emerald, which has kept their castle safe from the outside darkness that looms on it's barrier. Our story starts seeing the King and Queen hosting their grand feast, as a gift to their villagers..
Queen Hart: "It is my pleasure this evening, to bring you all this wonderful buffet, that which of course, our wonderful chefs of Hangout Castle, who more than happily, made for us today! [She presents the grand table filled with nothing but plates of potatoes], Oh how I LOVE potatoes! [Overcome with joy],
[The King bows as he takes his seat with the Queen, and all of the village may now eat potatoes to their hearts desire]
Villagers: "HURRAH!!!"
[The hall is filled with hearty laughs and rose filled cheeks, as alcoholic refreshments are chugged down and minds at peace from any possible danger, whatsoever]
Queen Hart: "Oh Andre! Andre! Where are you?!" ..
[Her loyal soldier, standing 10ft tall, muscles built to take down any threat in an instant]
Andre Giant: "Yes, senpai madame, how may i assist you?"
[His voice booms the room]
Queen Hart: "Will you ever so kindly bring forth our entertainment for tonight?"
[She shoots him a glare]
Andre: "Of course my Queen.."
[He kneels down, attempting to grab her hand for a gentle kiss, the Queen presses his lips tight with her fingers]
QH: "I hope you know who's in charge around here.."
[She snaps a look at King Matthew]
"So don't even think about it".
Andre:"How could I be so foolish my Queen, perhaps I just need to control myself by some other manner.."
[He slowly walks off in deep thought and slight depression]
"What could it POSSIBLY be?!" [The gentle giant sobs to himself]
[The feast is near it's end, as Andre Giant brings out it's closing entertainment, Alexei the Clown. He strolls out on an incredibly small unicycle, awaiting for Andre to toss him his items to juggle. He juggles a tire, a flower pot is thrown into the mix, and eventually he's juggling 13 items at once, dangerous ones and all!]
Alexei"and for my finishing act.."
[He signals Andre, and Andre carefully places a blindfold around Alexei]
"Voila!"..
[He amazes the crowd, and gains a standing ovation. It's not until he tries to stop, that he can't maintain his act. He swerves, back and forth, items dropping let and right, bouncing toward the audience, causing potential danger. He's almost to a stop when a unsheathed dagger soars from his hands and redirects towards the Queen]
Sir Isaac Maximus: Your Majesty!
[He springs into action, and within that instant, his large golden crested shield has guarded the Queen from harm's way. The dagger clangs to the ground. The Queen is shocked, however she is relieved. She has always been proud of her Royal Knights. That being said, Sir Isaac is the 1st Knight of the Order, surpassing all others, most certainly earning him of his rank]
Matthew Hart:" Thank you! You have saved my Queen yet again.. I could not thank you enough. Come, drink with me![/b]
[The Knight nods in favor, and they exit the hall. Meanwhile the Queen calms down the folk, and the night comes to an end]

[Later that night, King and Queen Hart are preparing themselves for bed, after a long, exhausting, but exhilarating day.]
QH: "Come 'ere girl, come 'ere!"
[She pats her lap with a bright smile on her face, as she greets no one other than, Pixie, her beautiful pet cat]
Pixie "Purr. Meow. Purr."
[They shut the lights, the King kisses his Queen goodnight, and their beautiful Cat Pixie, nuzzles in between them. It was a joyous day INDEED!]

[It is almost time for all of Hangout Castle to wake. The King and Queen however, always wake up a little earlier than the rest in order for important preparations, each and every day. Sun is shining through their windows, and this begins yet another peaceful morning at Hangout Castle]
[color=green]Queen Hart:[/color] *Yawn*!
[She stretches her arms wide across the bed, and wakes up in a pleasant mood]
"That felt great! How do you feel dear?"
[color=green]King Hart: [/color] Wh-what..
[The king slowly opens up his eyes, and stares at his Queen above him]
"Wh-why am I on the floor?!" .. [The King is nothing but confused]
[color=green]QH:[/color] "Oh, you don't remember? Well, I guess you were sound asleep already. I kicked you out because this is MY BED. It belongs to me, and of course our adorable little Pixie Wixie!
[The Queens holds her up to the King with enthusiasm]
"Isn't that right my little pumpkin? [The Queen kisses Pixies forehead repeatedly]
Pixie: "Purr. Meow. Purr."
QH:Now, Matthew, if you'll excuse me.. I'm going to start refreshing myself with a morning shower.."
KH:"Sure thing dear.."
[The King sighs to himself. He glances over at Pixie, who is already staring at him]
[color=purple]Pixie[/color]"Meow"
[The King realized a bit of sass in that one meow. What did the King ever do to his wife and this stupid little furball, the King thought to himself. Pixie walks over to her ball of yarn, as the King steps out the door]
[We meet Alexei down in the halls, attempting to keep himself busy as he awaits orders from the King and Queen]
Jester Alexei:"WO-WO-WOAAAH!"
[Alexei falls on his chin, tripping over the stool of a chair, as he tries to get passed the dining room. He spots the King walking in, and immediately attends to him, feeling a little dizzy from the fall]
"Y-Your Majesty! What shall I do today?" [His voice a bit shaky]
KH:"I want you at the center of the village, I plan on enjoying such a beautiful day. Entertain the people, put on your best show!" [They both stare out the window, embracing the sunlight]
JA:"Y-Yes of course.." [The frantic Jester runs off, exiting the castles large front doors]
....
[Andre Giant is seen towering over the village, walking down the street minding his own business, when he spots Sir Isaac far up in his own quarters, staring off the balcony]
[b]Andre:[/b]"Hey! Isaac buddy!
[Andre's voice booms, Isaac taking a notice to it from a mile away, takes a sigh to himself, and walks back inside his house. He opens the door, meeting Andre at the front]
Sir Isaac:"Yes Andre, what is it?
Andre:"It's great outside isn't it? You having a good morning? [Andre says with high enthusiasm and glee in his voice]
Sir Isaac:"It almost was.."
Andre:"Hey, hey! Did you hear? I heard her Majesty is hiring new Knights into the Order. Some tough looking guys too! Just thought I should tell ya'."
[color=brown]Sir Isaac:[/color]"She's what?.." [Isaac's stern voice startles Andre]
"Where did you hear this from?"
[color=gray]Andre:[/color]"Oh, the men themselves told me! I asked if they were new to the village, and the fella told me his story. They spoke to the Queen herself and she obliged. Then he challenged me to an arm wrestling match after that and pounded me to the floor! Don't know what for, but he must have immense strength, huh Isaac?"
[b]Sir Isaac: [/b]"I don't have a good feeling about this.. wait here"
[Isaac rushes off to the castle, searching everywhere for the King and Queen. They're nowhere to be found, until he hears the Queen's high pitched screams]
"Your majesty!" [He rushes off to her voices direction, bashing the door open to her bedroom]
"My Queen!" [He turns to stone as his eyes take in the naked flesh of the Queen, and the King frozen in position while still inside her]
"I-I'm terribly sorry! [He slams the door shut, remaining on the outside]"I-I just have what I think might be important news.."
QH&KH:"What is it?!" ..
[Isaac speaks to them from outside the door]
[color=brown]Sir Isaac:[/color]"Well.. did you appoint a brand new group of Knights to the Order?.. I'm just wondering. Since we haven't even had the need for a unit... and apparently these guys were pretty tough..Is something happening? "
[The King and Queen are mystified. They both begin to dress themselves, then opening up the door for Sir Isaac. With astonished looks on their faces]
[color=green]QH:"[/color]We haven't appointed a new Knight since we put you in the Order Isaac, there wasn't ever a need to.. What are you talking about?"
[The castle is then shook with a loud rumble from underground. The Queen almost falls over, but the King holds on to her and the three are struck with confusion. The village is flooded with screams, as the protective barrier surrounding the entirety of Hangout Castle, and its village is slowly coming down.]
KH:"The Emerald! Someone's secured the Emerald!"
[Isaac rushes off to confront whoever did this, and the King and Queen evacuate to safety. King Matt comes up to the tip top of the castle, and stands stern at its balcony.]
KH: Everyone of Hangout Castle! The Emerald has been taken out of it's place. Someone in our very village has deliberately taken down our defenses. Please evacuate yourselves to safety, this is not a drill. We are under attack. I repeat, We are under attack!"

[center][size=150]CHAPTER 3 - Best Interests [/center][/size]
[After all of Hangout Castle was caught off guard, the village was thrown into utter chaos, and the King trying to maintain order to his people. The people and soldiers of Hangout Castle had not seen war in over 5 millennium. They had long growed accustomed to a carefree life, and preparations for this kind of situation had not been put into thought. The King and Queen were sure the Emerald were to be secure for a very long time, how could this happen? The King and Queen were unsure.]
King Hart:"As the King, I promise to keep each and every one of you out of harm! Do not worry my beloved people. Stay inside your homes, and we will take care of the rest."
[The King walks away, sure sounding in his voice, but doubtful in his mind. He doesn't let the villagers know this, to suppress the panic. He rushes on over to his Queen to reconfirm her safety. Krystal is lost in her thoughts as the King steps into the room.]
Queen Hart:"They took her didn't they?.."
[Her eyes swell up with tears, as she comes to a harsh realization. The Princess had been out on an errand, on the outskirts of the barrier. No report on her whereabouts had been called in for quite a while. The King and Queen thought nothing of this at the time, the unusual out of place weather that occurs on the outside of the barrier often slows down progress.]
QH:"Oh god, please let her be okay.."
[King Matt sits beside her, comforting her head to his chest]
King Hart:"Our little girl is strong sweetheart.. as bright and brilliant as the moon." [The King tries to conceal his emotions as usual, shouldering the burden of all possible harm to come to his Queen and his people.]
QH:"Oh Luna.." [The Queen lets out a light sob.]
Pixie:"Meow?..[Pixie jumps into the Queens lap, curling up into a ball, and nuzzling against her arm. ]
QH:"You're trying to comfort me too?"[Wiping the tears away, she gives out a chuckle]"I'm just no good am I.."
[Sir Isaac is seen dashing forth, making his way to the lower levels of the castle. ]
Sir Isaac:"Why did we have to be so damn short in military power? I can't cover this entire perimeter by myself! I might not even make it."
[He picks up speed a little, when he hears a faint voice as he's about to turn down this spiral staircase. He remains hidden. He peeks out from the corner of the wall and sees a mysterious figure cloaked in robes, speaking with who he guesses to be one of the enemy soldiers. The soldier salutes the man and runs off down the corridors of the castle basement. It's quite illuminated down here, so Isaac has to be careful as to not be spotted just yet.]
Sir Isaac:"Andre had told me these guys seemed tough, so I can't let my guard down, 1st Knight of the Order or not."
[However, Sir Isaac notices something shuffle underneath the mysterious figures hood. As well as him being accompanied by a bow and arrow.]
"Well, he came prepared.."
Mysterious Figure:"I know you're there, imbecile."
[The mysterious man takes down his hood.]
Sir Isaac:"Crap. I've been found out! How?!
[His eyes widen a bit when he notices what was shifting under the mans hood.]
"He's an Elf, but why? I thought we had made peace with them centuries ago."
Mysterious Elf:"You might want to try breathing a little less next time, pig. [The Elf gives an amused, but seemingly menacing grin. His pointy ears give out a twitch, sensing out Isaac as much as he can]
"Come out and play!" [Without a seconds notice, the Elf has pulled back and shot an arrow straight into Isaac's vicinity.]
Sir Isaac:"What's your game, Elf.. what have you done with the Emerald?"
Mysterious Elf:"Me? The Emerald? Hah! No."
[The Elf laughs] "I'm just a pawn you see.. I wouldn't know anything about the Emerald." [He continues to laugh to himself]
Sir Isaac:"That's bullshit. Then why are you even here? The whole town's gone into chaos, and you're the only unfamiliar face I see around."
[Isaac unsheathes his sword]
"You brought this on yourself.."
Mysterious Elf:"Hm. Oh did I now, Sunny boy?"
[Isaac grips his sword tighter, with an angry tremble]
Sir Isaac:"How.. How do you know that name?!
[Isaac charges for the Elf, sword pointed for a vital hit. The Elf shoots two quick shots, however all too slow for Isaac's swift movement. He dodges both with ease. Isaac leaps for the kill, when the Elf calmly lets his palm face outwards and freezes Isaac in his place, shooting him back with a light force field.]
High Elf:"Did you really think that was going to work?"
[He chuckles once again]"Your skills are going to waste, let me tell you that. So dedicated and quick to attack, yet so ignorant. I will never understand you humans."
[Isaac still stands tall]
Sir Isaac:"You're a High Elf. Where did you learn your magic in this day and age. The arts have long been abandoned, I can imagine you have no good reason."
High Elf:"My sources are not for your feeble human ears I'm afraid. The name's Frezed. I wish not to fight, but for you to understand that you have been deceived by these wretched people you call family.."
[Meanwhile, King Matthew is preparing the castles defenses]
KH:"I'm sorry Pixie, but could you do me a favor?"
[Pixie perks up and walks up to the King]
Pixie:"Meow?"
KH:"Good girl. Could you see if you can retrieve Alexei for me please? This is important, and I have other matters to attend to."
Pixie:"Meow, meow!"
[Pixie does not give the King a hard time considering the situation, and runs off]
Jester Alexei:"What do I do? What do I do? The whole place is in CHAOS and I don't know what to do. All I've ever done was bring these people comedy, and now there's nothing but TRAGEDY. I can't take it. I think I'm going to faint."
[Alexei paces around nervously, turning around for the last time and in turn accidentally stepping on Pixie's tail as she had just approached him]
Pixie:"Meow!"
[Pixie jumps up at Alexei and attacks his face]
JA:"Ow, OW! Stop! Okay, stop! I'm sorry!
[Alexei tries to furiously get Pixie off his face, grabbing her by her sides and suspending her midair, when he notices a note folded in between her collar. "Alexei, please come to the castle ASAP. Do not tell anyone else I called you. Be quick."]
JA:"A letter from the King.. finally something for me to do!
Ah.. being a jester is such hard work."
[He runs off to head up to to the castle doors, falling flat on his face in the first step]
"Oops.. heh"
Pixie:"Sigh. Meow.." [Pixie rolls her eyes in disappointment]
[Alexei arrives at the King and Queen's bedroom. Thankfully not making love this time, they get up to greet him.]
KH:"Wha-what happened to you?!"
[The Queen hand hovering over her mouth with a slight gasp]
JA:"Oh this?.." [Alexei is covered in numerous amounts of cuts and bruises]
"I just had.. a couple of accidents on the way over here. Haha. You know, just a fall or two, no big deal.."
[The King and Queen look at each other in doubt]
"Okay it was like 10! but does that matter?"
[Though the scratches were from Pixie, he doesn't mention that because it was his being clumsy as usual that made him step on her tail.]
KH:"Listen. I need you to do something for us, it requires you and Pixie together, as a team. Are you capable of this task? This is very important."
[Alexei gulps, and looks down at Pixie. Pixie gives off a smile]
Pixie:"Meow!" [Pixie salutes the King]
JA:"Y-Yes.. what is it? "
KH:"Now don't be alarmed but.. I need you to head out on the outskirts of the castle, and meet with 'him'.."

CHAPTER 4 - Reminiscent [Part 1]
Characters Updated!
[Four years prior to the event, we meet a young Princess Luna outside on the castle garden gleefully watering her plants. Luna spends most of her time being around them, and if she isn't outside eye goggling her plants, she's inside the castles library reading textbook after textbook on the encyclopedias of plants. She's sharp, intelligent, and has a personality brighter than anyone in the castle. Her smile alone will bring the entire village up from the slumps, and is just as gorgeous as the Queen herself. It is the break of dawn, and so the village is filling up with it's cheerful citizens one by one. However the King and Queen seem to be in a little dispute.]
Queen Hart:"You must be out of your MIND Matthew. I am not letting our TWELVE year old daughter wander out on her own."
King Hart:"Listen to me Krys, she is more than capable of handling herself. Are you forgetting that she's our daughter?"
QH:"No, I'm not. That's exactly why I'm not letting her!"
KH:"She can handle herself Krys, she isn't inexperienced, she knows how to defend herself."
QH:"She's only twelve years old. You aren't doing this."
KH:"Alright Krys, how about this?.."
[The King sees off the Queen and Princess at the castle gate. The guardsmen await them beside the chariot. The Princess leaps into the King's arms for a goodbye hug and kiss.]
Princess Luna:"Bye daddy, love you!"
[The Princess blows a kiss]
"Muah!"
[King Matthew waves them off with a smile, and the two hop inside the carriage and close the blinds. The rider gives the horse its signal, and so begins their trip]
Princess Luna"Momma, where are we going?"
[b]QH:[/b]"Oh just to pick up some stuff dear, mommy's making a cake."
[The Queen gives off a smile to her little princess]
"Here's the list" [She hands the list over to the princess and with one look her eyes widen from the amount that's on the list]
[b]PL:[/b]"Wow! This is a lot momma, are we going to be able to do it?"
QH:"Of course dear, plus we have help right?"
[The Queen glances over at the guard riding the carriage]
"Right?" [Her voice sharpens towards him. With that he notices she's speaking to him.]
Guardsman Isaac:"Uh, right! Yes mam. Always a pleasure to help."
[Krys and Luna both laugh hysterically at Isaac's discomfort. Isaac had just been appointed to this new job of his, his nerves get the best of him in front of the Queen and Princess.]
PL:"Haha! Isaac is so cute when he gets like that momma."
QH:"Isn't he? He puts on a steel front, but if you look close enough, his heart is as warm as the sun."
PL:"Sunny! How cute! You doing okay up there Sunny? Be careful and make sure you don't burn the horse okay?"
[Luna giggles to herself for a while over that joke.]
Sir Isaac:"You're not helping my concentration guys. I want to be please you and the King, so please. Let me concentrate."
[The Queen laughs off his gesture]
QH:"Yeah yeah. Whatever you say macho boy."
[They arrive at their destination. Leaving out their carriage, Luna puts on her sunhat to protect her eyes from sunlight. She figures her eyesight is the sense that's most important to her. She claims "What would I do if I couldn't see? I would miss out on all that's beautiful". The princess is most pure indeed]
Guardsman Isaac:"Look, I've found some.
[Isaac walks over to a nearby bush, which holds black colored berries with a tint of purple to them.]
QH:"Mm. Echoberries. My favorite."
[Normally, these berries grow within the forest, but because of early risers, these are usually gone before dawn. It's name is given for the effect that's put out when the soundwaves of your voice bounce off the thin gel surrounding the berries itself. When speaking at a tone high enough inside a forest full of these 'Echoberry trees', this effect is taken place.]
PL:"I'll gather the cocoa beans Momma."
[She says with an enthusiastic tone, and runs down the path a little]
"Ouch!.."
[Isaac takes notice at Luna bent over on one knee, and heads on over to her]
Guardsman Isaac:"Are you okay Princess?"
PL:"Yeah.. I'm okay..I just tripped a little, haha.."
[She has a small scrape on her knee, which Isaac immediately attends to]
[b]PL:[/b]"Thanks Isaac.."
[The Princess notices the stern, yet sincere look on his face as he's patching her up. Her face turns a light pink and is lost in thought.]
PL:"He's serious about protecting us isn't he.."
Isaac:"What was that Princess?"
[b]Luna:[/b]"O-Oh nothing!" [She flails her arms in embarrassment for thinking out loud, standing herself up in that instant]
"Thank you!"
[She speed walks back over to her mother.]
Isaac:"Hm?.. She's a weird one."
Luna:"Momma, are we almost done yet?"
[b]QH:[/b]"Almost dear. We just need one more ingredient.."
Luna:"What's that momma?"
QH:"...Potatoes!"
[The Queen picks a white rose and places it behind Luna's ear.]
Luna"No momma, don't think you can hide how weird you are about potatoes by bribing me with flowers."
[Genuinely freaked out, she is really beginning to question if she is her mother's daughter.]
QH:"I will never understand how my own daughter doesn't share the same love I have" [The Queen shakes her head in disappointment]
"Are you really my daughter?"
Luna:"Enough with the jokes momma.."
[The three of them are on their way back to the carriage, when Luna hits something soft-like with her foot, and nearly falls over again]
"What is it today that I'm tripping so much? I'm not even the clumsy character!"
[She looks down and sees a small furball the size of her palm purring against her leg. The tiny creature looks up at her.]
Luna:"OH MY GOD! MOMMA LOOK."
[The Queen walks over and observes it]
"Momma, can we keep it pleassseee?"
QH:"No."
Luna:"Momma! Why not?"
[The Princess has always longed for an adorable companion. She's been asking for a pet ever since she could remember. The Queen always rejected the idea because she was afraid that Luna would become anti-social, she feels she spends too much time with her plants as it is.]
QH:"You know why. The answer is no."
Luna:"Sigh."
[Luna looks down at the adorable thing]
"I'm sorry buddy, there's nothing I can do."
[She pets it one last goodbye. However, the furball walks on over to the Queen, nuzzles against her leg and looks up to her with extremely beady eyes.]
Adorable Furball:"Meow."
[The Queen is struck. She has no idea how to respond to this. She just stares at it in complete silence]
QH:"Oh what the heck!"
[The Queen picks it up and nuzzles the creature against her face]
"Ahh, so soft.. so cute.. I can't get enough!"
[Luna facepalms, and just stares at what was suppose to be her pet]
Luna:[/b]"Thanks a lot, momma.."
Guardsman Isaac:"My Queen, we should head on back, it's getting a little dark out. We don't want to be out here when nightfall comes around remember."
[The Queen retains herself]
QH:"Oh yes, *cough* ..ahem.. certainly. Come on everyone, lets go back home."
[The two, well.. now three step into the carriage, and Isaac begins to escort them on their way back home]
Luna:"Come on Sunny. Faster, faster!"
[She laughs to herself and throws an echoberry at his head]
Isaac:"H-hey! I'm trying to ride here!"
Luna:"Sorry Sunny. I just can't help myself ~"
[She calms down, sits back and smiles to herself with a slight blush. Slowly drifting off to sleep in the Queen's arms, she is at peace.]
QH:"You two.."
[The Queen rolls her eyes with a smile]
"Youth."

CHAPTER 5 - Reminiscent [Part 2]
Isaac:"Dammit. We took too long to finish up around here.."
[After a long day out with the Queen and Princess Luna, the group finds themselves surrounded, by what could only seem to be disfigured shadowed beings. Isaac stands guard out the carriage, protecting the Queen and Princess while they take cover inside. Isaac looks at his surroundings.]
"Dwellers huh.."
[The shadowed beings, aforementioned 'Dwellers', remain hidden among the trees, observing Isaac as they whiz on by in a circular formation.]
"There's quite a few of them.."
[In unison, several Dwellers spring towards Isaac with fierce movement. Isaac takes a quick look in all directions, leaps into the air leaving the Dwellers at his once standing position. Charging down with his sword from above, he crushes the pack in one fell swoop.]
"We better go before it gets any worse."
[Isaac sheathes his sword, only for him to turn around in utter shock. The Princess and Queen were gone from their carriage.]
"What.. where did they go?!"
[Isaac frantically looks around, when he hears a faint sobbing. He runs in it's direction to find the Queen holding Luna in her arms, bloodied hands and tears streaming down her face]
Queen Hart:"Isaac.. they nabbed her while you were fighting, I tried to fend them off but it was too late.."
[Isaac stares at the Princess's bloodied dress.]
Isaac:"No! Dammit. I couldn't even protect the Princess from a simple crowd of those .. SCUM."
[Isaac slams his fist down at the ground in frustration]
"My Queen.. I'm so sorry. Come on, we have to take her back to the infirmary."
[Isaac takes the Princess from her arms and carries her gently back to the carriage. Heading back, his head us full of hindering thoughts that throw him off the entire ride back home.]
"If only I could do better, If only I was stronger.. I'd be able to protect everything that was dear to me.. Luna.."
[He clenches his fist]
....
[Several hours later. Isaac stands over an unconscious Luna as she lays in bed, bandaged up and in the process of healing. His mind still racing from earlier.]
"I promise. To always protect you from now on. I shall see to it.. that you are never harmed, in any way possible."
[He turns to head out, but in that moment he feels something tug at his sleeve. With a weak smile, using all her strength to keep herself awake she speaks but two words.]
Luna:"Thank you.."
[The Princess falls back into a deep sleep, and Isaac is left with a bit more hope than before.]
Isaac:"No Princess.. Thank 'you'".
[The heart stricken Knight, walks out the room to let the princess sleep off her wounds. However, up in the King and Queen's quarters..]
Queen Hart:"This is EXACTLY why I didn't want her out the castle barrier Matthew!"
King Hart:"C-Calm down dear.."
QH:"NO. You don't listen to me. I never wanted this from the start, but you just had to keep on insisting. Oh, she needs to seeeee the world. She needs to breathe the air outside the castle? That's all meaningless if it means my daughter being exposed to harm. She could have gotten killed!"
KH:"I know.. I made a mistake".
[The King cuffs his face in disappointment and sorrow]
QH:"This is the last time. Mark my words. The last time, she ever steps out of this castle without proper protection."
KH:"Yes dear.."
QH:"Shut up! Urgh! You just get me SO.. so.."
KH:"Forgive me!"
[The King gets on both knees]
" .. How many potatoes will it take this time?!"
[The Queens face lights up]
QH:"Potatoes ! Well maybe about.. WAIT NO! Not this time mister. You always try and pull that move with me every time I'm upset with you."
[She crosses her arms]
"Nice try.."
KH:"Darnit.."
[The King looks to the side, with a disappointed look on his face that the plan didn't work]
"Tch.."
QH:"Haah? What was that?!"
KH:"Oh-ho .. nothing.."
[He reassures with a nervous smile and sweat down his brow]
QH:"Mhmm.. Anyway. Want to see something curious?"
[The King a little puzzled]
[b]KH:[/b]"Um.. sure my love? As long as it isn't one of those ridiculous inventions from 'Him' again.. last one you ordered from him, the umm.. what was it called again? Right. The Tater-Formation! You had no idea what it did until you accidentally turned half of our soldiers into Tater Tots!" ..
QH:"Yes.. I remember that.. Hey at least I apologized about it afterwards.."
KH:"DIDN'T YOU EAT THEM?! How could you be sorry? You ate half our army!"
QH:"Ah the past is the past ~"
[She waves it off with a nervous laughter]
"Anyway, look!.. "
[She turns to pick up a cage laid out next to their bed]
KH:"Strange, didn't even notice that there.. what is it?"
[Krystal holds the cage open up to the King, and opens the latch. The King peers in closer.]
KH:"Oh well aren't you a cute one."
[He takes a finger to scratch behind the little furballs ears. She doesn't seem to like it much.]
QH:"Um.. dear.."
KH:"Yes?"
QH:"You're not familiar with cats are you.."
[It reaches out its claw and swipes at Matt]
KH:"Woah there.. close one. Nice try. You're not keeping this little devil are you?"
[Krystal hesitates]
QH:"U-Um.. well we have no choice.. Luna found it lost and I couldn't say no to her so.. looks like we are!"
KH:"You want to keep it for yourself don't you.."
QH:"Why not?! I never get to have anything for myself, and Luna doesn't need anymore distractions right now. It's fine.."
[Matthew shakes his head with a laugh]
KH:"That is so you.."
QH:"Hmph.."
[She looks away from him with a pout]
KH:"Well, are you going to name her?"
QH:"Pixie."
KH:"Pixie?.. May I ask why?"
QH:"Because she's so small.. just like a Pixie.. also because it's cute!"
KH:"Because it's cute.. Okay I'l give you that one."
QH:"It is cute.. isn't that right my adorable little Pixie Wixie?"
[She scratches underneath Pixie's chin]
Pixie:"Meow!"
[She purrs excessively. Leaping into Krystal's arms]
QH:".. and the family grows.."
[She smiles with tearful eyes.]
...
[Stepping into his room, Isaac shuts off his lights and gets himself comfortable for bed.]
Isaac:"I'm exhausted.. Such a long day.."
[He sits at the edge of his bed, head down and losing himself in thought for a moment]
"Well, tomorrow will be a better day right?"
[He lays down, arm resting over his face to begin his slumber.]
"At least I hope so.."
[He drifts off to sleep, barely able to hold himself awake for much longer.]
"Luna.."
[Moonlight shines through his window, on this quiet night it embraces the brave soldier, he falls deep into his dreams, dreaming only of what's dear to him. Thus the night is ended in peace, and relationships have deepened.]
