Anime Relations: Shinseiki Evangelion

Every now and then.. I get a huge urge to sit down and watch the Evangelion series straight through..

Unfortunately for me, I don't own it, so this is a bit of a problem.
One of these days, I will buy the series (directors cut, of course) and I'll actually sit down and watch the whole damn thing.

I think one of the reasons I like Evangelion so much is because it always seems to have the effect of lessening my depression. Or maybe it's just that my woes seem so insignificant when I watch the world fall apart.

Regardless, it's always helped me through my depression.

Discovered a new [for me anyway] website featuring anime wallpapers: http://konachan.com/

I was impressed with what they have to offer. I found it because I was looking for a Maria-sama ga miteru wallpaper, much easier said than done. To my surprise, they had a good sized gallery of Marimte, also some Hellsing wallpapers I hadn't seen before, and (of course) a massive selection of Evangelion desktops.

All of the wallpapers I looked at were of good quality too, and large! One problem I often run into is a too-small desktop, which results in either a pixilated desktop, or not using the image at all.. which is sad.

I'm very pleased by this late-night finding.

Whenever I listen to music from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, specifically the opening title, I crave pepperoni pizza hot pockets.

This is what college has done to be. How ridiculous, hah.

It's hard to find time to watch anime/read manga much anymore.

College is eating my soul.

Well, because I'm off to college in the Fall, I recently got a MacBook Pro. I'm still in the middle of copying over some of my files, and it's turning into quite the pain. I had thought all of my manga scans were safe on my new mac. Oh, was I wrong.

I don't know if this happened during the transfer, or if they've been like this, but a bunch of my Hellsing chapters are full of errors and corrupted files. Had I not been flipping through them, looking for drawing inspiration, who knows when I would have discovered this. So, now I'm going to have to search all my other scans and make sure they're safe.

Pain in the ass.

On the upside? I got the glossy screen option for my laptop the HD chapters look AMAZING. Seriously orgasmic.
