ShuutarouAppears in the Shinobu/Sakura arc. Shuutarou picks up the notebook dropped by Shinobu while on the mermaid hunt with Sakura, and expresses the desire to go on a hunt. Although the notebook states that boys can't see mermaids, Shuutarou is willing to try, stating "what if that boy's heart was a woman's?". Shuutarou is secretly in love with Takaaki, Shinobu's childhood friend, and gets jealous when the two are close.
