| Will still take a long time before this could become a major problem. A minor problem ... could happen earlier with some ancient anime that exist. Would not be against adding the full year. Maybe an option in the settings to change this would be nice. While they are at it also maybe adding localized versions/settings - so the non-US people can have a normal date format (first the day, then month, then year / or maybe the style afaik common in asian countries: year-month-day). |

| Anime started in 1917 and production really took off in the early 60s. This is a minor problem at the moment, but it'll become a bigger problem as an increasing number of older anime have their air years match up with modern years. It probably should be dealt with before it becomes too big of an issue. |
