| In Mature/Seinen Anime shows, maybe. Seeing as it's a prevalent, seemingly accepted "profession" in Japan, I think it should be existing in Anime more-- not just as the usual 'hardship' stories, but actual main/side characters casually being that. But of course, it would take a lot of maturity for both the viewers and the writers/mangaka to make it a casual thing than a 'butt of the joke' kind. |
