| As someone who doesn't read the source material (I prefer it that way so no spoiler for me) I'm in the dark on what's going to be the next event after that goddess freya incident but hey I'm excited to see one of my fav fantasy anime getting another season confirmed. |

| Season 5 adapted the events up to volume 18 of the novel. They’ve released volumes 19 to 21—which is likely the content for the upcoming season—but the English translation only goes up to volume 19. I expect the next season will be released next year. Since I haven't read volumes 20 and 21, I can't tell if this is actually the final arc. Also, if anyone knows anything about the translation status, please let me know! |

| @DESENHOXD good to know so there is enough for at least 10-11 episodes i guess and volume 21 is the start of the final arc news says here https://animecorner.me/danmachi-enters-final-arc-with-volume-21/ |

deg said: i thought the anime caught up to the latest novel events? to novel readers is there enough material to animate? Of course there is enough source material to do full season. S5 adapted 3 volumes(16-18) and there's still 3 more left(19-21) for S6. They also skipped two whole volumes and a lot of other chapters, so there's enough skipped material for a whole season. |

| @DESENHOXD I haven't read volume 19 yet. Could you tell me if there's any content in that volume that will be present in this season? For example, how the arc begins and what kinds of events occur is what I'd like to know. Of course, if you don't know anything, you can ignore what I'm saying. |

| I'd also like to know about that, but I don't know if anyone here has read the most recent volumes. I've read the light novel up to the vol 14 arc, so I'd like to know more about the events that will be adapted in this Myth family arc! |

| I don't read thee source but honestly I hope it goes back to be a dark, survival like show like it was in IV, especially in IV part 2, Bell trying to survive with pure instinct and real skill against a literally indestructible stalker-like enemy, the cat & mouse dinamic was executed extremelly well, for me that was the peak of DanMachi and it will be really hard to beat. After seeing all of that, V was lame, I mean I enjoyed the first half of V about Bell having that crazy date with Syr, it made me laugh many times, it was goofy fun, but everything after that was boring, Freya turned out to be an extremely boring antagonist, all that shit about the Freya-Syr-Horn trio was honestly very confusing, and the fights at the end, as much as I love the fights in this show, felt weak, nakama power is fine in shows like this but that was too much, and it was all over really quick. If this really is the "final arc" I wish for it to be actually insane. Heck, even II was insane, seeing Bell fighting a prostitute squad, that was fire, unlike V. |
Sorry if my english is bad (っ˘▽˘)っ~~~ Btw, cry about it. |

| It’s probably gonna be a while for this to release since there’s barely much to adapt either way I’m excited knowing we have another season planned. |

| @ReMightyRon I think it will be included, as I recognized several things mentioned in volume 19. Without spoiling anything, it begins with a slow-paced story, but it offers some cool info about new characters and world-building. If you want some more detailed info, here it is: The arc begins with the arrival of the school district (that floating thing in the trailer) and Bell has to infiltrate the school, he's sped most of the story in disguise. He will meet some new characters, including Eina's sister. There is also one level 7 character in this school district. That's all that I can remember, since I've read it a while ago. |

| @deg It's a shame that it's ending, but I'm also happy that the story won't be dragged out to the point of exhaustion. |

dontttt said: I AM SO EXCITED LAST SEASON WAS SOLIDD i don't like the other season much but yeah S4 was the strongest arc Danmachi had offered, i really loved the writing in S4 and the dinamic between Bell and Ryuu, and then S5 happened...... and then all that development turned into just another side character..... Hope S6 will do my girl Ryuu Justice |

| Its kind of crossing into territory where sword oratario is increasingly more relevant. Im not exactly sure how they plan on doing this without those novels.n kind of wish they'd animate the important side story novels and include Freya backstory which they skipped from the last season |

| I never expected this LN to get a complete adaptation. It's not the best story but I like it. The anime studio puts a lot of love into it. The animation and BGM is wonderful, I can't wait. |
