| It's 2026 and I still have to basically delete and re-post nearly every single one of my replies because, if you click "Quote", or if you click on any "blue Reply" that isn't the very last one at the bottom of the page, the entire comment of the user you're "quoting" or using the "blue Reply" button will be present in your post, without any means of removing that automatic quote. So, even if you avoid using the dreaded gray Reply button, which will invariably generate an un-deletable quote of the entire comment, and instead use the Quote Reply, you will still most of the time accidentally generate an un-deletable quote, because it opens a reply box under the comment you're quoting, which will also generate the un-deletable quote. The only way to avoid generating that annoying thing is to scroll down all the way and use the New Reply button. Which is stupid, because NONE of the options should generate an un-deletable full quote. And even the supposed workarounds for it (using Quote instead of the gray Reply button) will still generate it. It's time to fix this behaviour. So damn annoying. They broke what used to work perfectly. |
