It just feels wrong. 3rd world Yuno having 1st word Yuno's memories. It's not the same! It's not the Yuno he fell in love with and went through all that shit. And what about 2nd world Yuno ? She was the one that Yuki(2nd) met at the very beginning, the one who told him they will get married. HIS Yuno. Just killed and forgotten by 1st world Yuno ;( The series is really average at best and pretty poorly designed, but this whole ending made me feel depressed for a little while. In a weird way im sad to let it go geez. |

Dang i liked that a lot. First part of the Ova was very fun and satisfying, seeing everybody having fun and being happy. Also liked the events with the gods and the murumurus and stuff, that was cool. Was also nice to get an explanation for the original show's ending. Yukki and Yuno meet again and that was cute XD |

Question: So Yuno3 rescued Yukki2 from his "prison". So where they're going now? If Yukki2 now follows Yuno3 into her world, wouldn't there be 2 Yukkis in world 3? |

Before reading the redial manga I was like: "I like it! There's Tsubaki and she's stalking Akise!" But then I read the MANGA. And it is so much better: It's really longer, Akise has a main role, and in the anime they don't even mention Gremory or the fact that the twelfth is the assistant of Baki in the shrine. So now for me it's like....meh. Kinda boring... P.S.: mory mory is bae. |

so, the one who come to see Yuki was Yuno from the third world? I see, it all makes sense, since Yuki in the third world dating the class rep, and Yuno gain all her memories from the Second World Yuno. Minene is literally Deus twin, she has Deus power, but still live like other humans. I laugh everytime that Mayor propose an Idea, he become more and more dumb. I love the idea where all the candidate have relation each other, like the sixth fall in love with Kousaka Ouji, the twelveth opened a shop where the seventh is working with him, and the mayor now supporting that orphanage. |

I am so much more comfortable with this ending. I kept ruminating on the thought that Third World Yuno would never meet or know Yuuki. I am so happy. Everyone was talking about this being a light-hearted fanservice episode, but that was honestly less than half of it. This is the conclusion I wanted. I'm a little confused on why his diary changed if it was only about First World Yuno who killed herself. Supposedly, it was Third World Yuno who visited him. It left us on another little cliffhanger. He can't return to the Third World, so does she disappear from there, and have Yukki recreate the universe of the Second World? So many questions. Another OVA would be very nice. :3 |

A bit disappointed in this ... I liked seeing the third world "AU" and the slice of life parts, including how some of the characters ended up becoming, but the ending ... just felt kind of weird that after everything Yuno ends up chasing after Yuki again and they end up together. I kind of get why Murmur would want to give Yuno's memories to the third world one, but IDK I liked the original ending more >_< This one is obviously "happier" but I felt that the original one fit better :S Oh well, I guess this one is good for people who didn't like the original ending lol. One interesting part was how Deus decided to just leave what happened "to fate" ... so I guess my question is, does Yuno #3 end up becoming a god with Yuki and running the third world then? I guess we'll never know lol :P 6/10 |

So, this was the Hammer Ending, but there's no hammer involved? Hahaha. I find this ending so happy since the Second World's Yukki who became the God was reunited with Yuno. Ohmygod. I'm so happy. At least this was a happy ending which what I wanted for Yukki and Yuno. Awww. :3 8/10 for Twelfth's attempt to convince Deus on what game should he do to choose his successor. Haha. And of course for everyone turning out happy. And what the heck Sixth is in love with Kousaka? What what what. Hahaha. P.S. I really liked this continuation of the ending really since if the ending will be the one from the main series, it will hurt me. Glad this OVA exists to tell me that Yukki and Yuno had a happy ending together. At least, this time Yuno is happy with her family and with Yukki. Waaaaaaaaaaah. So good. <3 |

This was trash 30 they had 30 minutes to adapt 60 pages and they majorly messed it up...... Like they cut 3rd world yuno stalking Yuki 3rd world with a telescope. They cut out akise and him having his demon, they added in the robot for w.e reason and they cut out 9th's flying babies scene. Missed the part where Yuki's phone said Yuno smashed the space-time dimension with a hammer. Hell, they didn't even adapt the redail portion on how Yuno finds Yuki..... I like the ending it's just the redail manga is a lot better and I feel like they missed most of the good parts sigh. I would give this a 5/10 |

This anime was kinda dark with dark themes. Plus everyone was killed/ murdered in world 2. So I think the creator decided to give the people what they wanted, a Happy Ending. Im cool with that decision. Although having the series in with yuki and yuno not ending up together would've had a more dramatic effect. MAL should really add a sci-fi tag to this series. You know its a good show when you still thinking about it a day after you finished it. Like, Yuno was playing the game as a god and her plan was to keep hopping world to world to continue to play just so she could be with yuki. Also, that would explain why she was so good at the game. She played it before. |

It was good to see the old characters not to suffer anymore and die, well, most of them. 1st is... well, he should be dating her friend but he is nowhere to be found in this OVA. 2nd is living a normal life. Avoiding the nightmare it could have become. 3rd had it coming. 4th is doing good. 5th got his family and didn't become a.... cereal killer. 6th is still pure in both mind and body. (Such qt) 7th are happily married and with a kid. 8th... I guess she's with 11th? 9th is being a terrorist still? Well, I mean, our 9th is a goddess mom now. Which is great (Don't know why she can't get herself a new eye and hand) 10th is... absent? Her daughter is growing healthy at least. 11th is being goofy. Better than being evil. 12th is being an unrecognized hero. This guy.... this guy is amazing. Anyway, the fact they had to remove almost everything of Yuno and her Yandere self to make me at least support her cause in this OVA is irrevocable. It felt too much as trying to fulfill an "epic" love story that, if you remind well, started with lies, kidnapping, a lot of killing, more lies, torture, etc etc etc. Yeah, they wanted to give Yuno a happy ending but, it feels forced. Still, no loose ends. I give that. PD: Why 2 years on World 3 equals to +10k years on World 2? lol |

So satisfying. The last episode of the main series already foreshadowed this; albeit depressingly. I don't think they needed it to be re-introduced or extended at all. They got right to the point in a single episode thankfully. The manga exists for the finer details of course, and I've read the outcome of the 3rd world. I'd be a liar if I said I didn't shed a tear. A bias 10/10. |

Thanks God the hammer was avoided. So they made the OVA for Happy End, a lot better than the one in the manga. The only thing that bugs me is how the "god is dying problem" was solved. The manga said it clearly: Yuuki (2nd) and Yuna would be the Gods of 3rd world. In this OVA is still missing it. If it was made clear in this one, perfect. |

11:47 Lucky bastard! I remember having a massive crush on Tsubaki in the past. She's my kind of girl. 26:53 Only relatable when you're a teenager or early adult. I wish I could become a God in real life. There's an infinite amount of waifus to create! It's been eight years since I saw this anime. I still remember some of the story, especially Yuno, and Tsubaki. I got curious why I gave Redial a 5/10. I watched it again, and I liked it. I still prefer the original ending. 8/10 |

There's two Minene and Two Yuki living in the 3rd world, and Yuki looked like a Mist Hashira from Demon Slayer, also he fell in love again with the new Yuno with the 2nd Yuno's memories, but that is still not the same Yuno, well whatever it is this is the end. |

Original Notes of 2013: The 3rd world, Gasai Yuno. I like how they created their own scenes instead of the following the scenes of the ending in the manga. I only hope it follows the real ending. Its also nice to see Minene again. And Yomotsu 12th without his mask, He's funny, with his own shop. And its weird that Tsubaki has a crush on Ouji. Gasai Yuno of the 3rd world doesn't remember Amano Yuki or his existence, its all a blur. Minene is helping Yuno to find and remember Yuki. She saved MurMur of the first world and retained the original Yuno's memories. Finally they gave the real ending! The ending sounds beautiful I think I live it. I gave it a score of 8 because it finally gives the real ending unlike the full tv series. Though the scenes were created differently from the manga it still has the real ending. |

So be it if I'm in the minority here... The actual last episode of the season, not this, was better. Why? Tragedy is the name of the game here. It's not supposed to have a good ending when the whole show was based on pain and emotional turmoil. This alternate ending destroys the notion of why the anime existed in the first place. It totally defeats the purpose. Too many people are way too concerned about happy endings, failing to realize the premise of the show was that it was dark, depressing, and sad. I watch different genres for different reasons. When I want happiness, I watch warm, happy, bright anime. When I want violence and/or darkness and sadness, I watch anime like this one. By that I mean the original show. Not this pandering craptastic alternate ending bologna. I mean, if they wanted to have created a totally different, alternative version, one that was NOT a direct or canon sequel per se to the original, then sure this would be a worthy first episode. This is just not a proper way to end a dark show. Objectively, putting aside my rationale on this, I won't give this a super low score, because in and of itself, disconnected from the original canon, this wasn't bad. So I will give it a 6 (rather than a 3 that I would have given it if I were being more subjective and utilizing personal bias) whereas I have the original show at a 9. |

You know after finishing Future Diary, a lot of questions popped into my head, and after witnessing with what happened at the end (the whole 3rd world Yuno getting the memories of the OG one)... It brought forth a rather intriguing question : Does death really matter if you can just clone the memories and call it a day? Cuz if you think from Yuki's perspective, after all this time alone, Yuno came back to her with all memories intact, which essentially makes her the same Yuno he lost all these years ago. BUT from Yuno's perspective (the one who died at that night, the og one), well her story ended right there, Yuki kissed her, and in his arms it was all over for her, she never got to live a life in the third world, nor did she reunite with Yuki after all these years and fulfill her promise to him... the one who did, was a completely different version of her who just so happens to have her memories... And that just makes me feel even worse for her, not because she died without ever being able to do those things, but because she was literally replaced by another copy, due to which everyone (both in and out of universe) literally forgot about her, and she was thrown out the side like some commodity which just got replaced and so even it's death doesn't matter cuz everyone believes her death was unwritten and so she got her happy ending with Yuki, which in all reality she never did. Yuki sure as hell did, and the one who did it with him, was the new Yuno not our OG one, cuz she's still dead people. And that just feels wrong ngl... So yeah makes you wonder, does death really matter in this scenario or not 🙃 |

Devotion to one, 「知るか」 (shiruka) to the rest. That's what I got out of watching this, which I find quite beautiful. (Manga differences are in spoiler tags. Nothing anime-wise is tagged since Redial is considered the ending of Mirai Nikki.) Perhaps this theory is wrong, and I'd love to be corrected, but per some key parts about this episode, I believe 3rd Universe was fully erased, like 1st Universe. (I say "Universe" because the original Japanese uses 世界/sekai, which can be translated to "World", but also "Universe". This distinction will be relevant later on.) I also agree with those commenting about how it would be messed up for 2nd-God Yuki to love 3rd Yuno, if 1st Yuno's soul was gone. ...If. Side stuff/questions: Was 3rd Yuno's phone (during the school trip) acting weird because of 1st Mur Mur? (e.g. timestamps every ten minutes saying "Hotel Room at School Beach Trip") Was it telepathy from 1st Mur Mur in the cage, or the miniature Mur Mur accessory? Was it just the nature of the phone? Would love to know. Also is resurrection truly impossible, resurrection of a specific universe's soul? Takao Hiyama might beg to differ, given how many times he died. In the manga, we see more instances of 3rd Yuno stalking 3rd Yuki. Not out of any love for 3rd Yuki, I believe, just that 3rd Yuki's face naturally reminds 3rd Yuno of 2nd Yuki, flashes of 2nd Yuki appearing in 3rd Yuno's head, hoping that by looking at 3rd Yuki, 3rd Yuno will remember 2nd Yuki and how to reach him. Souls matter? Diving into the main theory: What we know of the Akashic Records is rather crazy. Not only was pre-God 2nd Yuki able to peer into 1st Universe (thanks 1st Mur Mur), but also communicate with past dying 2nd Yuno in 2nd Universe ("I hear Amano-kun's voice... Tasukete... Amano-kun..."). I empathize with 3rd Mur Mur, restricting access to it. The Records are perhaps not just records, but windows into causality, allowing weird things to happen like limitedly contacting (influencing) someone from the past, choosing specific universes to peer into, etc. Yet here's 3rd Deus, nonchalantly wondering if he even needs to choose a successor, letting fate choose its path, be it destruction of the universe or otherwise. and not even asking anyone to become gods of the 3rd Universe, more on that later. To get to the core of this theory, a glowing red crystal core -- 2nd Deus' red crystal that 1st Mur Mur used him as is just like 1st Yuno's red crystal. ...And 2nd Deus could still talk afterward. (source: beginning of Ep. 23) ...1st Mur Mur sure seemed in a rush to stuff 1st Yuno into a red crystal. Aside from enemies around 1st Mur Mur, I believe this is because 1st Yuno's death would be very bad to the point of the crystal. In other words, those red crystals aren't simply memory containers or power gems. They're pokeballs soul preservers. So 1st Yuno is not dead. (1st Mur Mur even explicitly says to 2nd Deus' core in Ep. 23, "Trying to live on by leaving behind your core, huh?") 2nd-God Yuki reunited with a soul-merge of 3rd Yuno and 1st Yuno, using 3rd Yuno's flesh to house the soul. Unfortunately for everyone else, taking 3rd Aru Akise's words seriously, after 3rd Yuno merged with the pokeball soul crystal of 1st Yuno, she is (presumably) now Yandere Supreme again. ...And a god, as we saw in Ep. 26 where God Yuki and God Yuno, in their godly cloaks, slowly nurture a new world in 2nd-God Yuki's empty space of 2nd Universe. That one quick planet-nurturing scene says a lot. 1. Having to slowly nurture a new planet shows the limitations of godly power. No snapping planets into existence. 2. Why would they bother nurturing a new planet if 2nd Universe's planet Earth was still lively? They probably wouldn't bother, and instead repair 2nd Universe's planet Earth, hence we can assume 2nd Universe's planet Earth is devoid of life, or perhaps gone entirely. It did look very desolate in Ep. 26 when 2nd-God Yuki returned to it. This is also why interpreting 世界 (sekai, world/universe) carefully is important. Planet Earth, what some call the world, is presumed dead, but 2nd Universe's space in which to create a new planet still exists. 3. Speaking of the existence of universes, why would they bother slowly nurturing a new planet in 2nd Universe if they wanted to go to 3rd Universe? Again, wouldn't bother making a new one. and instead become gods of 3rd Universe per 3rd Deus' request, then happily run around in a field at night on 3rd Universe's planet Earth, in their regular clothes, seeing the stars together. This implies that the anime didn't just skip showing 3rd Deus' request. 3rd Deus' request would've been rejected if it was made. Devotion to one, 「知るか」 to the rest. Loved it. |

Well, that sure was something wasn’t it lol. Quite a bit different than I thought it would turn out, but I really liked this extended OVA ending to the series, I saw people joking about a hammer in the final episode thread and from what I’ve seen this is basically the same with a few differences, since there was no hammer here you can probably guess what one of them is lol, but what happened is fundamentally the same. They also made a new OP and ED just for this episode, didn’t expect that but nice, just a shame they were just one time use. But yeah I enjoyed it quite a bit, I really liked the fanservice first half of the episode showcasing most of the characters all on the beach, it once again really reminds you how these people deserved better, and I’m really glad they got it in the goofy sort of way it was shown here, just a shame the 12th isn’t convincing anyone that he’s a hero lol. Swimsuit fanservice was nice too, can’t go wrong with cute anime girls groping each other, they even got Yuno in there lol, and Tsubaki’s short bit was cute too, she really is wholesome when she’s not leading a creepy cult. And I can’t forget to mention Minene, she’s full on doing the mom thing now, casually talking about breastfeeding lol, gotta love it, and she’s rocking the short hair now too which she actually slays, Monogatari girls gotta take notes, this is how you do the character development cut. And there’s the ending itself, yeah it was really goofy with Minene battling Mecha Mur Mur but I did really like the final confrontation between Akise and Yuno, it went a bit differently this time tho thankfully. And then there’s Deus being a literal Deus Ex Machina which I can’t help but appreciate for the joke alone, but it is nice that Yuno and Yukiteru finally got their happy ending, of course there’s the aspect that this 3rd cycle Yuno isn’t the Yuno Yukiteru loved, and that really is sad, but seeing all that Yuno did, I think her end was kinda deserved even if she came around in the end, so if Yukiteru was to get his girl, this is the only way to do it, and I can’t help but like it, if only they didn’t make Yukiteru sit and ponder for 10,000 years lol, there’s no way bro sat there that long and didn’t try doing something as god. So yeah, I’m glad this OVA exists for some extra closure, it was a bit silly and more fanservice than anything, but it left me feeling better than the ending of the show did so I thank it for that, I just know for a more dark anime it probably should have had a more dark ending (and in a way this is still kinda dark with our Yuno being dead, same with the versions of all the characters we knew), but I can’t help but love a happy ending lol. |

The crazy yandere girl was the reason for watching this. The famous Yandere meme is from here after all—a very fine and okay plot, animation. The character development was the best part. After watching the last OVA, Mirai Nikki redial, I am satisfied with the end, though it's gonna be strange to have two Yukki in one world. Then again, the one from the second world is older, so maybe it's not a big deal after all. |

Eh, it was rushed and awkward :P I'll give it a 5 for its mediocrity.
I've heard that the manga version of Redial is longer and different than this one; Maybe I'll read.

@Bigbuffoon Yep, this episode. was really rushed and how the story develops in the mange and anime is a bit different though they come to the same conclusion. |
