Episode 4 of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a powerful and emotional installment that delves into the darker aspects of alchemy and the consequences of crossing ethical boundaries. The episode introduces a new character who plays a significant role in exploring the moral dilemmas faced by alchemists, and it doesn't shy away from showing the grim realities of the world Ed and Al inhabit.

This episode stands out for its intense atmosphere and the emotional weight it carries. It skillfully blends moments of warmth and innocence with a chilling narrative that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The interactions between the Elric brothers and the new characters add depth to the story, making the eventual turn of events all the more impactful.

Without giving too much away, this episode will leave you thinking long after the credits roll. It's a must-watch for anyone following the series, offering both heart-wrenching moments and crucial developments in the plot. If you're looking for an episode that balances emotional depth with a strong storyline, "An Alchemist's Anguish" delivers in spades.

This episode was mainly very disturbing, but that's also exactly why it was a good episode; it made me feel that disturbance very well.

First time watching FMA and when I saw that dog enter the screen I was like oh god we're here already, and they started and wrapped this whole subplot in an episode, even tried to connect it to what Edward and Al did and it feels like they could've done it better, like that dog fusion is unsettling when you hear it talk, so the scene where they try to be sad at the end happens it feels like it's not earned yet
Idk why I wrote this comment nobody's reading it lol

Simply what was that fucking episode, this is by far the saddest and most disgusting thing i´ve ever saw, Tucker is not a villain but someone that was blinded by greed that not even his own family could take, at least it makes the motivation of the Elric even higher after this.
