| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Dunno why but I found this episode to bit a bit amusing. Probably because of Ootori and Nikaidou's little competition. I think Kanae Itou did a decent job portraying her character at least in terms of voice acting. What a silly girl  Got some fan service too... Pfft, as expected Takeru gets caught in the middle. I don't think this series is going to be immune from boobs. Nikadiou is amusing to watch at times though. |

| So they had to babysit the majou girl who is suspected of murder. I wonder if she is able to proof that she is innocent especially with this cliffhanger. Also the fan service this episode was funny to the main was to blame for getting punched like that. |
| Well as predicted we got the clash between witch hater Ohtori and amnesiac tsundere witch Mari. It was played primarily for comedic purposes over dramatic ones this week though, but that final scene discovery by Ohtori could lead to dramatic misunderstandings. Ohtori handled a witch joining far better than I expected given what we've seen of her. Mari seems genuinely kind given what we saw of her backstory with the blonde guy. Once again I was reminded of Kuusen Madoshi given the fanservice and tournament this week. This is still a better series so far. Boy...I sure used given a lot just now huh? :D |
| Mari is a witch, she joined Tamadou Gakuen. Yeah I would also believe that Ohtori will lead for some kind of misunderstanding for her being murder, since we know how can Mari really is and want to try to save the people that went on that " psychopath enemy ". That naked fanservice, Kanou Itou played really well. |

Did we need to spend most of the episode focused on what was essentially a pissing contest between Ohtori and Mari? Also, what was the point of the lame, terrible, unnecessary fanservice moments? They were literally pointless and as poorly executed as would be expected. And do we really need another tournament arc in one of these series? Still better than Kuusen though. |
| Fanservice didn't bother me too much as it was somewhat funnily presented. But the tournament bit was so rushed, it felt like. Also unnecessary IMO. Mari is quite cool. |
| Yes best girl is finally here~ They got the fighting between Mari and Ouka right at least. Although the adaption being rushed is quite obvious now... I guess Hayato's design isn't so bad either, looks more mature than he does in the light novel illustrations. |

| Mari is freaking awesome and I loved seeing her go back and forth with Ohtori xDDDD The fanservice was pretty tame too surprisingly but I like how this series isn't over the top with it....Still, Mari and Takeru interacting with another was really funny - The comedy itself in this episode was good Got more backstory with Valhalla and the witches etc as well as with Lapis so that was good....Good episode overall |
| Kind of wish the tournament lasted longer. Felt way to rushed... :( I do like the fanservice and the new girl Mari. Ohtori found out that Mari is suspected of murder... Hopefully she can prove that she is innocent!!! |

| HAHAHA.... is it me or everybody realize too that Mari and Ootori reminds me of Sena and Yozora from "Boku wa tomodachi ga sukunai". that is really funny. And... Always happen in anime, when they opened the door where there was a girl inside of it, they always found a naked girl standing in front of them and then get beaten up. ALWAYS HAPPEN. They need to change that kind of pattern........... i change my mind. the fansevice was pretty good though ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) even it was unnecessary |

| Yay! My favorite female character Mari was introduced! Too bad the whole episode was rushed. Gotta love adapting a whole volume in 2 episodes. Oh well it's fun to watch I'll give it that. Most of the fanservice wasn't too poorly executed. |

| I am conflicted... Feels rushed, but a same time feels like there no reason for not rush the events(except for the mock battle). |
| This episode gives me some hope for a bit deeper plot as Mari shows that not all witches are evil and quite rightly points out that the Inquisition uses a great deal of magic in its attempts to regain monopoly control of that power source for the existing state apparatus. Other than that what we saw were pretty conventional set-piece scenes at the apartment and in the combat tournament--competently done but nothing special or remarkable about them, although I liked the fourth-wall breaking with the discussion of Mari's dere side coming forth and the oppai comparisons. |

| After Norgami and K i was giving this one the most importance this season..last episode was very good(still i dont understand how ouka's family was killed)..MY year final exam's are coming up pretty soon and my head is out of sorts right now..Still i have watched the latest episode of this one and my mood has gotten even poorer..just an awuful episode altogether(-5/5)..voice acting,pacing,animation everything just plain awful..GONNA READ THE NOVELS..I have learnt big time how crappy silver link is.. |

| Pretty solid episode this week and the fanservice was handled rather well too. It's holding it's lead as of best of LN adaptations right now despite covering a lot. It wasn't introduced in first two episodes so I have no idea why would suddenly think the entire series would be about that now. The rest you and him nitpicking opposite anything being flaw. If you played any modicum of attention you Ouka dislike Mari because she is a Witch a race which she had has problems with not because "lol we need have them fight just because they girls!" or some nonsense. This arc is clearly going be about that. |

This episode made me start to really despise her, as I can't accept "WAHHHH THEY KILLED MY FAMILY SO THEY'RE ALL BAD AND I SHOULD KILL THEM" as an excuse for being rude to someone who's clearly shown herself to be nice. |

Second, we clearly aren't watching the same episode since none of that happened with except with Lapis who is freaking weapon that Takeru didn't know existed until literally a day ago. If the Chairman who owns her hadn't explain what she is you have turned around started bitching about everyone suddenly accepted for no reason despite her random appearing out of nowhere from her perspective. And Mari is amnesic who is desperately trying remember who she is. Some of her memories were just literally coming back at the point so obviously got absorb into after learning about herself , furthermore Takeru was the one who asked her to begin with and she didn't mind because she doesn't dislike him. So she didn't just randomly sprout it out. Also, if witch-chan is nice, why does Ouka still hate her guts, especially since the others don't particularly seem to care? This episode made me start to really despise her, as I can't accept "WAHHHH THEY KILLED MY FAMILY SO THEY'RE ALL BAD AND I SHOULD KILL THEM" as an excuse for being rude to someone who's clearly shown herself to be nice. Yeah, it's not it's been established she hates Witches and magic in general for trauma in the past (why do you think she hasn't full contracted with Vlad a magic artifact if you have forgotten) for in episodes 1 and 2 or anything. Guess what chief lots people hate and distrust entire races for what one member of that said race done in real life too regardless of individual. Not to mention she been fighting Witches for years so of course she would have an issue with a Witch joining them. It's unreasonable, but it's understandable she be like at that first since plenty of people react similarly. Mari herself even points out that Ouka's reaction is general quite normal in their society and Takeru and rest of Platoon are the odd ones not to be uncomfortable with it. Plus Mari provocations are doing her favors. So don't act as if there is no basis for it. Anyway she is starting to warm up to a bit Mari by the end of episode so it's not she can't be reasoned with. |

| Pretty average episode but I really like Mari as a character. She reminds me a lot of Levi Kazama from Trinity Seven, especially her design and how she wears a scarf as well. Mari and Ohtori seem to not like each other but they'll eventually be good friends I can tell. |

| Liked it. The episode is clearly less oriented to action this time and we good some good character interactions there especially between mari and ootori, that's a really funny duo. |

It'll likely stay the same regardless of whether it's an major arc or not. Story-wise, I'm sure there's much to look forward to. Feel free to drop if your not curious about how things will develop in the story. If you what the whole package instead, the LN is way ahead of the anime with practically everything the anime lacks included. @Jagd84: I will give the show credit for doing so well with the fast pacing it has. I'm sure a slower pace would have drawn in more love for the series, but they chose to air the series with a handicap of sorts. They're pretty mush covering more at the price of quality. There's no need to defend this show from haters if your enjoying it. It's simply not meeting their expectations, given most adaptations don't use this method of adapting. All events are better explained in the LN, so don't bother doing its job for it unless you don't mind replying to every complaint. |

| So tempted to read the manga since it's starting to get good but I still want to be surprised. Really liked this episode good to unwind from the battle they had in the previous episode. Also the ending song and video are really good. |
| Another rushed episode as expected. It's still enjoyable for the most part but that's only because I've read the novels and can understand everything. I know most people probably won't believe me when I say this but Antimagic's plot is a lot darker and tragic than you may think. It will have you wondering if the witches are truly the bad guys in all of this. I can only hope that the pacing will slow down a little bit for the later volumes. Especially for volume 5. |

| Great episode, the protagonist actually has a good personality, always worried about all in your group, but I'm curious to know more about his past and about his strength, I want see him struggling with Lapis again, great comedy and fan service in this episode also, the harem of Takeru goes on increasing, I'm already looking forward to see the next episodes .. | I loved the first two episodes, but I honestly just feel like this is way too rushed. You can see it in the dialogue, especially. There's zero pacing, and no coherent breaks. |

| Even though I know this is being rushed to hell with only two episodes per volume, Silver Link handled it pretty decently imo. The fanservice is tame and not too cringy to me compared to other similar shows this season. |
| Felt rushed, but it was overall a good episode. Now that Mari was officially introduced, have to say I like how they portrayed her character so far. After all, she is one of the best girls in this series xD And Hayato! There you are!! Can't wait to see next episode, come on!!! One small thing, I was a bit disappointed that they kinda... cut the gory part (that one where the Inquisitors confronted Mari and Haunted.... was so gory in the LN). |
