Discotek Media got the effing English dub, and they BARELY operate as a company anymore TODAY. let alone as a boutique anime dub collective that 'rescues old/dead licenses and niche titles' like they used to. they only cooperated with Funimation for a SHORT period, operated with Crunchyroll for about 2 years JUST for the Lupin III titles, and NEVER STREAMED A SINGLE SHOW themselves anywheres. they NEVER made a batch of this show's freaking DISKS larger than 200 at a pop because they haz no budget! know where you can find the Eng Dub files cracked off those disks? not on piratebay, i just searched there. they're all raw, Eng sub, or Portuguese subbed. not on ANY streaming site of the 13 i checked, the few i found were ALL subbed or raw. frankly? i was digging up this title just for schitts n giggles because i hadn't watched in uhhh... 5 years. i guess i should have DL it back then when i was lucky enough to find a site with the Edub. |
