Is Code Geass your favorite anime of all time?
| Code geass used to be in my top 5, but i think with just watching more shows and leaning more towards series with less gogogo action imbued with the story beats for slower shocking/confusing emotional character based stuff its fallen to like my top 20. I've rewatched the anime like 4 times as well, where I feel like I notice some things I don't particularly love as much like Jerimiah randomly pulling up with a geass canceller that's never been brought up before or after he returns, having to suspend a little bit too much disbelief when lelouch accidentally makes euphie commit genocide, finding the shit in china boring as hell, ect. still a great series tho |

| Very close, rated it a 9 which is pretty rare for me. |
| I absolutely loved it when i was in high school but it didn’t age well for me, now it feels edgy and i can’t stand Lelouch at all. And they didn’t do a great job of combining politics and mecha. That being said opening and ending themes+ CLAMP’s illustrations are bangers, still love them very much. |
Despite not among my top 10 favorites, Code Geass is anime which I really like as I am into anime with politics and action on it :) |
