| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- First half felt kinda slow but I liked the fight in the second half against the Walker. The cries of despair was pretty evident in this..and it tried to make all dramatic. Nonetheless, a decent episode imo. It goes to show the reality of war yet again as they can't save everyone. |

| Another slow episode. Cliffhanger most likely next episode and a 2nd cour... Which has yet to even been announced or known but it definitely will 'cause 13 episodes isn't enough. |

| Here I thought Seri should be naked the whole time. Oh well. Right now everything is solid in the middle, focusing more on the characters rather than exploring the themes. It's extremely satisfying to watch a bunch of people who actually know and care about others working together and also being handled tastefully (the first half of season one is way too dramatic thus ruined some of the subtly, this season which is totally under Tow Ubukata's control is way better.) It's good once for a while, most mecha are just human fractions fighting against other human fractions. It can get tiring eventually. |

I dropped Gundam G no Reconguista because i didn't like the characters and the story was going anywhere (i dropped it around episode 7). I didn't keep watching it to call it a rip off of some other anime or to keep posting how i was hating every single episode, i just...dropped it. I liked the episode, let's see what this new Fafner will bring to the war. |

Talking as if Evangelion is a masterpiece and every mecha anime is a rip off from it is kinda ironic/idiotic when EVA have like 3 different endings and Shinji is one of the most annoying/useless characters in the anime world. I feel bad for you, really, sorry but I'm a mecha fan and I can't sugarcoat/overlook this, it's too ridiculous and this comparison is pointless. @Like I said last week, everything has a price and this will end in death. |

| oh fuck i was hoping neither sakura or kanon would get back in a fafner, those 2 have been through so much shit it'd be tragic if anything bad happened to them now, especially sakura since she almost didnt make it out of season 1. Also that scene of akira failing to save the bus was hard to watch, it was brutal Legal_Latino said: maybe if you didnt skip 26 episodes and a movie youd understand how different this series is from EVA, i mean hell the entire point of fafner is to try and bridge the gap between the 2 species and form a communication as well as show how normal families can be torn apart by their children being thrown into battle. so happy this generic evangelion rip off is almost over. |
