| Yuki's voice is so feminine it's throwing me off. Couldn't they instruct the voice actress to do differently? Or was it done on purpose since he's a rat? |

| Not bad. I'm rewatching the show only because I have some free time now. The animation is not above par but its okay for the early 2000s. It's not High-Definition in Crunchyroll but conusmable for the regular anime audience. The animation studio removed the important subplots on the first episode cause there was no green light that the whole manga is going to be adapted. So, I could understand why this anime version needs to end at a certain point. Edit: I rewatched the subbed version on Crunchryoll and I did not expect Yuki's voice to be voiced by a female. However, Tohru's voice is very timid. It suits her. I just did not grow up watching the subbed version. I watched growing up the dubbed version. Hence, I'm not used to these Japanese voice actors/actresses of Fruits Basket (2001). |
