You are not alone in noticing it, but I think it's just the creators trying to keep it ambiguous until the ending. Yuri and victor probably will confess to each other at some point but there will be some sort of twist. This anime has caught me off guard so many times. I think they're going to do the same with the ending. It won't happen the way we expect, is all I can say for sure. |
| Ugh. Finally dragged my hands to post in here. Ahhh~ so much to say, so much to say. I can´t constantly rewatch the episodes as I wanted since the weather is hot and it makes my laptop overheat. Having said that, I have some doubts about some parts of the story, but mainly the one about the party. That party happened after the GP, right? It made me wonder if Victor actually had an eye on Yuuri since before the drunk scene. I mean, he noticed Yuuri when they were leaving the skating arena (he even offered to take a photo together) and also Yurio´s bathroom scene, telling Yuuri to abandon skating (maybe he was irritated with Victor´s fixation on Yuuri?) I have the order of events a bit messed, so if someone could help me with that will be appreciated. Noticed how at the dance between Victor nd Yuuri, they start with some distance between each other and with each new shot they kept getting closer and closer until they end dancing like a couple. Very cute. Victor said Yuuri changed not only him, but others as well. Yurio is an obvious one, but it makes me wonder about the rest of the cast. Did Christophe start his sexy presentations after the party or has he always done that? I bet when Seung-gil gets drunk, he dances Gangnam Style. On a more serious note. I don´t really think Yuuri can win the GP at this moment. Not only he suffers from anxiety (not sure if it is moderate or severe), but without treatment, it can deal a great damage to his performance. Fortunately Victor is there and their chemistry helps Yuuri to control his anxiety, but it still need work. Also, it feels like Yuuri still needs to find his essence, like, his trademark or something people would inmediately relate him to. Yuuri has the talent and stamina, and it is obvious that he loves ice-skating, but maybe he is not made for competition, unless he can receive treatment for his anxiety |

"In life, you need vacations where you can be yourself, away from your hectic everyday life." <33 I adore that Yurio gives in to his fans by taking photos and wearing cat ears, but his expressions are simply priceless!! AWE, that photo of Yurio, Victor, Minako, Yuri and his family is cute too <33 It's nice to see that one moment of Yurio, Yakov, and Lilia at a table eating/about to eat together, as if Yakov and Lilia are still married and had Yurio as their child! ^^ "Yuri's Angels" is a nice name for the fans! LOL!! AWE!! Yurio defended his fans! He honestly went against Lilia, who told him to avoid unattractive words, for their sake. :) "Don't diss my fans and call them ugly!" How sweet <3 Yurio's annoyed face beside JJ's poses is A+!! <33 That was interesting... xD JJ and Isabella vs. Yurio - right beside them, JJ Girls and Yuri's Angels were doing the exact same thing! :P Like figure skaters, like fans. Hmm...Otabek is such a mysterious character. ^^ LOL, he didn't even argue back when Yurio said, "What's with you, asshole?" :P I wonder how much of Otabek's personal life Yurio knows now... WHOO!! :D Sightseeing must have been fun!! And they held hands on the streets, awe <33 LOL at Yurio running away from his fans!! They can smell him too?!! Yuri, Victor, and Yurio wouldn't have evoked too much tears... But damn, inviting Chirs and Phichit made the meeting so much more memorable!! xD LOL, poor Yuri dug his own grave when he mentioned the banquet... :P LOL at Victor for spitting out his drink when Yuri said, "I couldn't even talk to Victor." </3 "That was disgusting as hell!" From the flashback, I adore the look on Victor and Yurio's faces when they recalled that Yuri seemed to have been dragged to the banquet by his coach... :P LOL, but if Phichit was there, he would have definitely taken photos or videos and uploaded them on social media, LOL!! I would love to see Seung Gil's reaction if he was there too xDD I just adore that Otabek has an emotionless face when Victor showed him pictures of Yuri... :P LOL!! Phichit, you are GOLD!! When he announced that Yuri got married <33 Hehe ~~ Otabek still had his emotionless face as he clapped at Yuri and Victor's supposed marriage. xD I love that :O look from Mari and Minako, while Chris still has his ^^ face. <3 Yurio must have thought this new relationship status came out of nowhere!! haha xD Victor is so confident that Yuri will win the gold medal! :P I'm glad that riled up the rivalry at the table!! XD OMG!! JJ's entrance was the BEST!! "Wait a second!" I almost forgot about him... xP But regardless if he wins the gold medal or not, he'll marry Isabella anyway ~___~ These two are a match made in heaven, considering how annoying/gross (in a positive way) they are. :) Hehe, A+ when everyone just left after JJ appeared. It's too bad JJ doesn't quite fit in with the crowd x) Only Yurio can kick Victor continuously and not upset me at all! :P I like that Victor can just grab Yurio's cheeks, and the youngster could continue talking as if it were normal... :P I definitely agree that if Victor stayed in Russia as a skater, Yurio wouldn't have been as motivated as he is now!! :) Back then, he may not have fought this hard because he Victor would have continued to be Russia's best skater... In fact, after Yurio started training under Lilia’s guidance, he no longer wished to have Victor come back to Russia and be his coach. I love Minako's enthusiasm when she asked Mari to take a photo of her, holding a banner that has Yuri's name on it and a photo of him!! XD If an outsider saw this, they wouldn't even know that she knows Yuri in-person... Haha, it's cute that Emil came to Barcelona even though he's not competing in the finals! Hehe, Mickey will always be a protective brother ~ ^^ It's nice to see Guang-Hong and Leo keep in touch!! :) It's so sweet that Sala texted Seung Gil in Korean :)) - YAY!! Georgi now has a new girlfriend!! Bye-bye to Anya!! XD haha Minami is the perfect Yuri cheerleader <3 LOL!! Yurio had the most photos from the banquet!! Honestly, I was so done when Yuri and Chris's pole dancing photos surfaced!! XDD Victor and Yuri really had fun dancing together!! LOL at how pissed off Yurio looked - how did his shirt become unbuttoned? :P I don't know what to say...Victor fell for Yuri when he was drunk and asked him to become his coach /dead/ No wonder people say you become closer with others when you're drunk.... ^ This is a good example of that. | I'm surprised based on how many people debated whether there was actually a kiss, there's absolutely no debate on the ring not actually being an engagement ring? I absolutely love Victuri and really really want to believe this is actually happening, but considering the only one who called it an engagement ring was Victor and Yuri kept saying "no" when Phichit congratulated them, it makes me question if Yuri meant it as one or not. The bill clearly says "Wedding Ring" and someone else pointed out that Russians wear engagement rings on their right hand, but Yuri put the ring on Victor first, and in Japan engagement rings are worn on the left hand. | Interesting, for lack of a better word. The ring seemed kind of random. I mean, get friendship bracelets or something, not rings. I realize Yuri likes him, but they’ve never actually said it out loud. I feel like even with the kiss, their relationship isn’t really “official”. I liked the ending, not for the weird dancing and whatnot, but because it also gave more insight as to why Viktor helped Yuri. He’s liked him for a while, and I guess the video plus his crush is what inspired Viktor to help Yuri. It also makes Viktor seem like less of an ass towards the beginning. A little more insight as to why he acted the way he did. I’d still appreciate if they actually confirmed their feelings for each other. Not even for shipping purposes, but just because it would have their relationship make a little more sense. Not sure if what I said really makes sense, but that’s how I feel on the matter. |

| You are reading too much into it, the character went into a jewelry and brought a 700 wedding ring. Victor understood it, that's why he did the same thing and said "I'll give you something you don't have to think about". Yuuri was stuttering and going "hmmm" all the time while Victor was more forthcoming about the whole thing. It's fine to leave things implied and not spelled out (I'm not even calling it subtext because this was subtle as getting smashed in the face with a hammer is suble), the show prefers to frame their relationship and feeling in the context of ice skating. (Because it's an Ice Skating anime by Ice skating fans) |

| A bit late to give a start to a relationship who's stealing the spotlight from the hero's route. At least it's something, maybe I should consider it sufficient. Well, it's not. It's like we just have to accept that they have been a romantic couple all along, but the first episode introduced them as strangers and past this, there was no "reason" for them to start something. Anyway, the Yuri interacting part was good to see (as a continuation of what has been shown recently) and as little as it is, the flashback part was funny. Like some wrote, seeing a "mature couple" is appealing in a certain way. Too bad it's undermined by the way it was (not) built. 2.5-/5 Hope to see Yuri dropping his total dependence, it is alarming 2episodes before the conclusion. (usually, sport is used to tell stories of newfound confidence) |
| This has to be my favourite ep yet! FINALLY some time to take a break and a deep breath, not counting the very first episodes it was pretty much non-stop competitions and trainings. I was getting a bit tired of that! This was perfect to get to know characters a little bit better, AND GET SOME OF THE BEST FANSERVICE SCENES EVER HNNNNG Also, the very last scene after hilarious, half-naked Yuuri's dance-off lol, it seems that Victor already had his eye on our protagonist since that very moment <3! Ahh his look during that scene, I can't get enough of that!  |

| Words can’t describe the greatness in this ep! I love that Victor is the one narrating this time. Enough Chris sexy photos, too much for me. Wonder what happened to him. He used to be a cute kid in the flashback. I had no clue how losing a bag of nuts turned into buying the wedding rings. Totally caught me off guard. That being said, Victor’s sleeping beauty obviously hesitated for a sec when seeing the photos of Victor & Chris together and JJ showing off their rings. Yuuri, you can say whatever you want whether they are engagement rings or lucky charms, but we’ll only listen to Victor. Phichit-kun, well done for saying it aloud for us. Lol, JJ showed up with his fiancee out of nowhere just increasing the tension. Dat “the hero of Kazakhstan kidnapped the fairy of Russia” of the title, lol. Journalists sure know how to come up with some eye-catchy title. That’s the way to make friends, Otabek? I need to try it next time. Georgi was seeing some new girl? So proud of him~ Dat ED is pure gold, lmao. Yuuri, please get drunk more often in front of Victor. Never expected the difference between Yuuri & Chris would be the type of underwear when it comes to pole dance. It's also a nice touch to show Yuuri’s dark past great moments in a social media way. Love Tossy’s drunk Yuuri saying “Be my coach, Victor”. So cute~ If I had any doubts that it would be equivocally handled after the kiss scene in ep#7, I would no more have any of them. The studio definitely gained my respect by being brave enough to show it straight up. Hands down 10/5! A side note, as a tourist recently came back from Spain, I’d say they did the looks of those spots justice. I totally saw myself when seeing Phichit-kun take selfie photo that way in front of La Sagrada Familia. |

| Wow, this was probably one of the best endings of a single anime episode ever. The reel, other than being so very amusing, lends credence to the whole premise of the show, with Victor showing up in Japan like that! Also, wasn't it very nice to see an animated Barcelona?! Super pretty :) |
| The relationship between Yuri and Victor became stronger than ever! Yay! :D Despite having no new performances, this episode was really good to learn more about personalities of all 6 participants to the Grand Prix Final. I thought this episode was going to be one of those "special breaks before final episodes" with rather dull plot, yet it was great and entertaining to watch it. What's more, as I wrote before, it offered a lot of plot-related aspects, mostly about all main characters, which I see as very big advantage of it. Sometimes less action or spectacular scenes doesn't have to imply that one show's episode can be worse from others just because it lacks that kind of scenes. |

| Nice to see that they got a break from this competition and it is in Victor's point of view. I'm really happy that they ended up getting engaged and I hope that Yuri wins that comeptions. The pictures in the end of the dance party was amazing, I guess Victor decided to become his coach was somewhat because of that scene |
