| With the anime only 2 months away I wanted to know if anyone has any predictions or hopes for the anime in terms of changes they may make, episode count etc My biggest fear with this project is honestly that it will be cut short. The trailers only show footage from games 1 and 2, this could mean we're only getting the 2 of them animated in S1, leaving us with only about 12 episodes. The revival round and game 3 would require an additional 12-13 episodes but since we haven't been shown any of that I have my doubts. My biggest hope with this and the sequel manga is honestly that the manga finally gets licensed in English. There is no manga I crave to own more and parts of the fan scanlations aren't great (still happy they exist!) Suspecting this won't get many replies but would still be happy to hear anyone else's thoughts! |

I'm hoping for a longer run, and hoping they didnt show past the 2nd game as to not spoil how far people make it in the games. I want better supporting cast character development and to really lean into the the psychopothy of that rat faced bastard, Yokoya.
| @MilleniumWeeb Hahahaha! Well said! And I hope you're right that they don't want to reveal too much yet. I'm currently re-reading it and am almost done, the character development that the main players go through is truly a massive highlight of the story and that doesn't start to show until game 3, so I really hope that we get to at least that point, in this season or a sequel! |
