Just reading more about the manga and story, it would seem she was born in Hokkaido, but as part of that tribe. Meaning that even if she is part of that Ainu tribe, there's a high chance she was born as Jap... Some pages have her as Ainu and even Polish... yeah, read a bit about the tribe but there's really that much info out there. If you could go with one that is, erm, less troublesome I will be grateful. Tho you could wait till that one airs and see if we get to know more about her. I know I’m supposed to state the original start date, but – the idiot that I am – I rarely bothered to add them when I started watching something. The “more” option on my list though lets me see the last time I updated a series, like here for example. Can I use a screenshot of that as proof that I started watching the series before July 2017 so I can add it to my challenge list? Or am I forced to use one of the entries where I actually added the starting date – in my case Hokuto no Ken, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Tokyo Mew Mew or Yes Precure 5. I’d rather finish something else tbh, but I'd like a mod’s clarification first. Thanks in advance! |

And in terms of starting date, go to the anime page, "edit detail" right below the title image and click "History" right next to the "episodes" tab. There you can see exactly when you updated your list in the anime in question. (I'm not a mod, but I'm sure this is what the rules indicate. In all honesty though, it's a very strong character study with humor, lovable characters and also very dark and emotional moments. If you want something lighter, I'd suggest Oran High Schol Host Club, a school comedy about a poor girl enrolling at a school for rich kids and due to circumstances, she ends up having to pretend she's a guy and join the school's host club, dedicated to giving the girls of the school attention and a good time. All of the characers are fun and likable and while they appear a little cliché at first, the anime goes into their depths over time and really develops their characters and relationships with the man heroine. For a classic, watch Cowboy Bebop, an episodic show about a group of bounty hunters in space. The show has it all; A fun and memorable cast, a lot of variety in its episodes - which are mostly episodis - a lot of style and production values, and very fun, weird, sometimes deep and sometimes tragic episodes. FOr something a little shorter, I'd point you towards Mob Psycho 100, a show about a young boy with strong psychic powers, who has to bottle up all of his emotions in order to not let them get out of control. The show has some of the most creative animation you'll ever get to see for a tv anime - or even period - a lot of fun characters and very strong emotional developments and moments, as well as a lot of quick-paced comedy. Hopefully you'll find something between all of these. |

Your proof is convincing and for the start date, write the date when you continue this year (mm/dd/2018) if you don't have the start date in your history.
