Holy shit, this might be the first unironically great arc in DAL. The author and the animation studio really took their time with Natsumi and made her feel more of a threat than the previous "girls of the week", which is super nice.

It's loli Natsumi makeover time! ^^ She's really cute in loli mode, but her grown-up mode is sexier, still, i like both. And in the ending parts, we also got a glimpse of the possible introduction of Origami Arc, a sign that it's getting close, really looking forward to that one for sure.

Natsumi makeover in this episode, and Origmai joining hands with DEM, I'm curious on what happens next.

L-Mo-Reppin said: JonasDown said: L-Mo-Reppin said: Paul said: The lolis were amusing but the fight scene, even if short, was plain awful. Leave it to JC to make an battle scene consisting of still shots and dragging objects. I liked her fake form more bc she looked like an onee-san type but I’m very disappointed that they have spent four full episodes on one spirit and it still wasn’t technically finished by the end of this episode. Also the tobiichi situation should have already been cleared for the most part from the previous seasons bc she knows the spirit that killed her parents. I wish there was a new villain bc these two DEM idiots are boring and just want to use the same trick as last season but just slightly change the target. Idk what I was expecting but as a harem fan this show just adds so much unnecessary drama. Natsumi's arc is twice as long as all the arcs of the Spirits that appeared in the first two seasons. It's in this arc that the difficulty of sealing a Spirit increases so the author has to write more volumes. Tohka and the others only had one volume and now it takes two volumes to finish an arc, in fact, the longest arc in the series is 4 volumes long which is the latest arc in the novel. The next arc that this season will adapt will be as long as Natsumi's arc. Also, are you sure you know who killed Origami's parents? Mind telling us? Remember when the mc and the sister went on there date and origami went after her bc the flame spirit ifrit who took over the sisters body caused the fire who killed her parents. But the mc showed her that there was a shadowy figure controlling her. We don’t know for sure if it was just Ifrit or another spirit, I’m just saying there is no reason for her to attack the mc and his harem again after knowing they had nothing to do with it. That's right, becuase the case remained unsolved (she got nowhere), she was still unsatisfied in the inside but didn't want to cause any more trouble. So when she heard that DEM had information on it from Ellen, her old self came back. Also, you're on the right track about Efreet and that shadowy figure, you'll find out what happened later down the road. Just telling you, you're not gonna expect what is coming. Mod Edit: Added spoiler tags; please hide plot details. Mod Edit: Merged duplicated posts; please use the edit button. I bet but I’m tired of DEM and it’s not like this show will make a lot more seasons so I wish they would go ahead and show what the mc really is and get to the end of that at least and stop adding in all the extra unneeded drama. I also wish he had a little more balls to do something with his harem and stop acting like he doesn’t notice. |

Well, most of these questions have already been answered in the novel but it took 19 volumes to reveal every single mistery there is. In other words you won't get that in this season so I guess you'll never know, unless they decide to go for another season which I doubt they will. However this season will reveal quite some interesting things, if adapted properly it should answer some questions. Also I think you're missing the point here, DAL isn't a 18+ visual novel but a light novel so that means there's no sexual stuff involved other than you typical fanservice. Also he does know the spirits like him, how did he seal them otherwise? Shidou isn't exactly a dumb MC. Either way, starting a sexual relationship with one of the spirits wouldn't be good for him, these girls aren't exactly normal and the bond with these girls he's worked so hard to gain would be lost if he started such a relation with one of them, that's not good. |

Whatever It's pretty predictable where her path will take her in the end. I don't understand why you think that's poor writing. It's already been established in previous seasons just how obsessed Origami is with avenging her parents. As much as I'm upset that Origami picked learning new info about her parents' killer > Shido, it actually elevates her to an even better character: the fact that she is this flawed, the fact that her entire character doesn't revolve around Shido, helps make her more human, more 3 dimensional. G_Spark233 said: It’s tough being Shido... I honestly have to agree with Natsumi. Her older form is way better. Unfortunately, it's hard to ogle at her older form, when you know that she's just a kid. And as far as where they will leave us I hope they don’t leave us with a bad taste in our mouths bc they hope we will buy the LN or get another season I kinda agree, but at the same time, disagree. The vibe I get from the Date a Live girls is that they're meant to be more "cute" than "sexy". More extreme fan service would kinda ruin the "cuteness". A lot of the girls in Highschool DxD (Akano, Rias) are designed specifically to be sexy, so the extreme fan service in that anime doesn't come off as strange (to me at least). Please keep in mind, I'm saying this as someone who prefers sexiness > cuteness. L-Mo-Reppin said: I bet but I’m tired of DEM and it’s not like this show will make a lot more seasons so I wish they would go ahead and show what the mc really is and get to the end of that at least and stop adding in all the extra unneeded drama. I think the reason that both of us are tired of DEM, is because their motivations are so vague. As much as I love Date a Live, I kinda have to agree with you: they should just get to the point, answer all the questions. I mean for crying out lout, we're in season 3 yet we still barely know jack about the Spirits and what's going on. Hoppy said: Natsumi looks so good after a makeover but Yoshino is still better. All the other spirits as lolis was hilarious as all hell. I also kinda cringed a little when Natsumi turned Ellen into a loli during her fight against Ellen, I knew that was not going to help matters at all. But...loli Ellen was hilarious... |

Even if Origami is a loli, she still teases Shido, lol everyone thought they're all his kids! WARNING!!! THIS EP GOT A LOT OF LOLI-RELATED SCENES!!! Shido circus with loli-bunnies zoo. If Natsumi did that out when they're in public, off to jail Shido goes. Oof! Loli Ellen is still formidable, Natsumi paid for her arrogance by being sliced clean and having her spirit powers drained temporarily. That's until Shido and the gang took this chance to save Natsumi from Ellen. Natsumi saloon/haircut/spa/new clothes/makeup for a cute loli transformation. Simply a wonderful ep with all these cute moments in the ep! And now, back to being serious... DEM SATELLITES ABOUT TO BE DROPPED ON TENGU CITY + ORIGAMI WILL WORK FOR ELLEN IN EXCHANGE FOR INFO OF THE FIRE THAT KILLED HER PARENTS.

Eh..?.. Loli harem it is then.. ;p Or is Shido their daddy now?.. ;P Does Reine sleep at all?.. With bags under eyes like that.. I wonder, what she does.. Origami, man.. ;D Why did you have to call Shido father.. ;p Well, makes sense that Yamai sisters would know how to handle hair.. Them having their.. Why the sudden Shiori appearance, lol.. ;D Though, why Shido of all persons know the most about makeup.. Shido.. Do you want to tell everyone about something?.. ;p Poor Origami.. Little Natsumi in witch outfit in the ending actually looks really really cute.. ;p

had a good laugh when loli Origami said Shido is papa. hahaha :p well, even after all the torment Natsumi did to them. They still saved her from being butchered by Ellen. Miku ability was useful in allowing them to escape.

not the trap thing again... I like older Natsumi more. I think she will be returning back to older mode after transforming before fights.
(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ ちゅっ ちゅっ キス (´。✪ω✪。`) I hate it when anime/manga that I enjoyed ends, especially when there could be much longer plot and when I love main heroine :P I wish I had magic glasses that let me see real world in anime colors ;)

I kinda wish everyone was effected by the loli fever including the teacher and Shido's classmates but also Shido. Would have made the show a lot funnierthej just making the girls super cute. I also hope something like this happens again on the show.

I actually enjoyed seeing Ellen vs Natsumi because one of them would have to lose. But the harem knight in shining armor of course had to rescue her.

LMAO Of course its the 4 of them bugging Shido. LMAO at Kaguya. Reine oppai. Westcott and Ellen. lol at Tohka and co. showing up to Shido's class. LMAO at Origami calling herself Itsuka and calling Shido her Papa. Dat light. Tohka in a sukumizu. Dat house. Dem Neko/Usagi outfits. My personal zoo? LMAO Natsumi trying to get him arrested. Ellen attacks Natsumi. Ellen got turned. Dat cut. Dat blood. Ellen returned to normal. Tohka saves Natsumi. Shido took Natsumi. Drop the satelights on Tenguu City? Punish Origami? Origami escapes. Kotori's face. Dat scratch. Shido visits Natsumi. Dat scratch. Natsumi got bagged. Miku in dat outfit. Miku can rub my back with her oppai on my head any day. Shiori. Hentai. Natsumi goes crazy and crashes into the door. Ellen calls Origami. Origami is surrounded. Origami agrees. Ellen helps Origami. Dat ending. It was fun seeing everyone in their ko forms. Once again, Natsumi is a sore loser which in turn drags this out longer than it needs to be.

7:36 Very nice personal zoo. Too bad they're a bunch of lolis. Ellen is so strong even in her loli form. I want Miku to give me service too. Just watching those scenes made me feel relaxed. Hopefully, she also provides special services. hehe

Shidou's a real interesting guy, gotta say. I'm glad Origami's joining a different paramilitary org, the last one was getting kinda boring. Natsumi's at least more interesting than Miku, and Kaguya as well really.

The baby versions of everyone was very cute. Natsumi is very rowdy and full of personality. I like her. Though Origami. God dammit when it comes to the fire and parents death thing it's always back to fighting and killing everything against Shido again.
