| having a sister that likes yaoi? wow you guys are sure lucky. ;_; HElLAW my real name is Kuku i am 16 years ago and i always watched anime in tv but its not like i recognized it as anime it was just "cartoons" but then naruto stoped aring on tv and in 2010 i startedwatchung it on net and then i found other animes and start watching them. tHAT tIME i was on t watching some bishonen amvs or smth AND i found "Junjou Romatica episode 1 subbed" and i watched it and my reaction IS THIS A SIN WHERE ARE MY PARENTS WHAT IF THEY WATCH THIS ILL REMEMBER THISMY WHOLELIFE WHAT DID IDO and some days later i watched the whole series and stared watching more and then watched Sekaiichi wich was airing at that time. | Oh I haven't made an introduction, have I. Hellooo. My name is Cece, and I'm 17 years old. I joined because I like BL and just happened to find this club, idk. I got into BL in October 2011 (I was watching Takumi-kun on youtube and saw something interesting in the suggestion field and it happened to be a BL AMV so I looked up the titles since I liked it). I only watched BL anime back then and enjoyed it a lot. It also introduced me to other genres of anime. Later on I got into BL manga and because I have alot of freetime I have read many many. In the beginning I was satisfied with pretty much any BL as long as there were two guys getting it on, but nowadays I'm much pickier. I have also opened my eyes to how bad alot the BLs I've read. I can't even understand what I used to see in them, sigh. I also enjoy playing BL visual novels. They usually have better story lol. |

| Hi, Everybody! My name is Michelle. I'm Canadian and I love BL! I have been a Fujoshi since 2012, which was the same time I got into anime. The first yaoi I watched was Gravitation but Junjou Romantica is what really got me into the genre. BL is kind of the reason I started learning Japanese. The other genres I like are action, shounen and josei. Aside from anime/manga, I don't really watch TV. | I'm Emily, But I'll answer to any variation of Emily/Raikua. I was super into Anime when I was little, But near the end of High School, I stopped. Before I had stopped, I was getting into Shonen ai (with Loveless, Suikisyo, etc.) Then I took about a 5 or 6 year break, where I didn't really touch anime except for the occasional Studio Ghibli movie... Then suddenly, I decided to pick up anime again about 8 months ago. And about 5 months ago, I started to see a lot of Dramatical Murder fanart on Tumblr, and decided to check it out... Instantly turned me into a hardcore BL lover. I've been binge watching and reading it ever since. Edit: As for favorite authors, I'd read ANYTHING Kei Ichikawa, Rihito Takarai, Chiaki Kashima, or Kou Yoneda write. But I also have a soft spot for Ayane Ukyou although I find her BL works to be hit or miss. </3 |

Same. Reading old favorites from when I first started I'm "...This isn't as good as I remember?". I haven't played a lot of BL games/VN but from a few I did play and watched, I agree. Though I'm always a little anxious when they make anime adaptations, BL or not, because usually they aren't very good. Also not enjoyable to watch unless you played they game and/or a fan of it. For my view I think such games are made to be games so it's difficult to change the format & whatnot and still make it good. Oh though I still watch them of course, I MUST see them animated. o(^▽^)o |

| Hello, I'm Blaze (let's leave it at that), I'm almost 15. I really don't know how I got into BL but I was suddenly interested. As with the religious stories I was quite the opposite, I was religious, gay people I didn't mind and wouldn't butt in on what they did or didn't do, but when I first saw Yaoi I just thought it was disgusting as a fetish. But then again I was only 10 lol But when I first stumbled upon my Yaoi manga via recommendations, I accidentally ended up reading Gravitation Official Fanbook: Megamix and being so damn explicit I was like damn I should take a break. But somehow I ended up reading some manga and ... I quite liked it! I think it was called Illumination and Brother x Brother which were my first 2 BL. if ur really bothered looking into the rest of my boring life: |

I'm a really, really shy person so I haven't introduced myself when I first joined this club, but... now I have to distract myself, here it's 5 am and my eyes are burning from playing too much at Pokémon (because I don't have my computer and I can't use PS, duh), so here I am. I'm 16 years old and I read my first "yaoi" when I was in middle school. It was a slash fanfiction, tbh, I was really into TV series back then. I think that at that time I read just a manga (Brother x Brother, to be exact), but I dropped it until the last year, when I started watching anime in a more serious way with Code Geass (that piece of artwork, still re-read Suzalulu's dj regulary. First supreme OTP). And not long after I started searching for manga and discovered the paradise of work of Junko-sensei. That was the very start. My favorite work in all the animes, mangas and novels, anyway, is No.6. That made me cry a lot like nothing else and even now nothing beat that record (three hours of tears. Consecutively. After some yaoi lovers ( especially my sister ) recommended me to watch yaoi, for a start, I started reading them, and I LIKED THEM and soon after. I started LOVING them, I started watching Junjou Romantica, the day before yesterday and I really enjoyed it, I'm already on Season 2!（；゜０゜） Well, before watch Junjou Romantica.. I READ LOTS OF YAOI MANGAS, and still reading upto now. Eh, no I'm not a perverted kid.. I like love yaoi because of the yaoi lovers and I really REALLY thank to whose recommended me yaoi because I got addicted to it. XD And I still remember the first Yaoi manga I've ever read was Love Stage!! it's still my number one yaoi, and they're my number one BL pairing~ ( Ryoma x Izumi ) and currently watching Hybrid Child （≧∇≦） From the Philippines, 12 Y.O, Yaoi lover, Bishies are the best. | Hello there, I'm Mina. I'm 18. I've been kind of inactive in clubs lately, but this one seemed like a really useful and cool idea so I joined. :) I figure I might as well introduce myself! I got into manga and then anime a little over 2 years ago when I ran out of interesting book series to read. I was really into reading slash fanfiction wayy before I discovered that yaoi was a thing, so it was a nice surprise. I'm not sure but I think the first one I watched was Junjou. I prefer reading yaoi now though. |
