im kind of confused here, how did Natsumi knew that her powers could be sealed? iirc none of the other spirits knew powers could be sealed, and im pretty sure they didnt talk about it when they first met in episode 1... aside from that, they never talked much

J.C. Staff making a mockery of this fantastic franchise. They pulled a Promised Neverland s2 final ep, making multiple battle sequences a mere slideshow. Not only did it ruin immersion during high intensity scenes, but it also made it somewhat hard to tell what was going on. It was basically rapid jumpcuts between barely related frames. They included one classic “suit up” sequence, with Kotori donning her astral dress, yet you could barely call it animation. It’s like they used the “fade in” option from MS Powerpoint.

Additionally, they basically gutted the fanservice. No nudity during the suit up or power sealing sequences at all, giving a fat middle finger to the beauty and art the previous studio had so masterfully portrayed.

When I watched the first ending to this season, I immediately noticed J.C. Staff in the credits and got wary, in retrospect, for good reason. They’re defined by mediocrity and consistency, making their works always enjoyable, at a solid 7.0. And as such, were the wrong choice for this exceptionally entertaining series.

Natsumi may be my least liked Spirit, but her Witch powers were always cool.

Somehow I couldn't really follow what was going on. Many crisises but they somehow all played out fine real quick...
I'm glad they don't stretch these fights and action scenes out so much tho.

I remember disliking Ellen so much the last time I watched this show. This time I like her a lot. She looks hot and badass. I want to r*pe her! However, I'm sure I'll die if I tried. lol
I like Kotori's spirit form. She looks hot in it! Her powers are badass too.
Natsumi never fails to surprise me. I didn't expect her to be the lollipop. Her ability to transform everything, including herself, is OP.

Does this mean I finally don't have to watch Natsumi act like an annoyed brat with issues? Holy shit these first 5 episodes were really bad and the animation.. yikes. More of Kotori, Kurumi and Origami and less of those other characters please.

I can't believe that the Nee-san character was reduced to a loli, that's a major missed opportunity really, maybe even have her switch between.

I guess everyone will fight Origami or whatever, who knows.

Still, kinda crazy how much plot there's been for this show this season.

Still hanging in there but tbh it's not keeping me fully engaged. The disjointed fighting with the scattered still scenes was a little hard to follow, to me were lacking in excitement. The Kotori transformation was a highlight, flames were well done. And she appeared to be on the edge of losing herself, which was actually one of the more interesting things that happened. Or almost happened. The candy magic thing just isn't really doing it for me. There was another anime (Black Clover maybe?) with a similar candy/dream-world sequence that I thought was much better. Maybe at this point I'm biased. Guess I should go back and re-watch to compare.
