oh damn. hell, yes girl so that means you probably got into SAO way earlier than i did, if you have kept track of reading its VNs before me. so, I'll admit that we have almost similar preferences in animes with you. almost as if we share like similar mindset or similar expectations when watching animes.

so if you hate tentacles and r word then dont watch sword art online then at all. Oh boy you've already given school days 2/10. Some of my friends including me ended up giving it higher score than that because of how much of a cuck the main protagonist is and the ending and the anime is pure ridiculous which is over the top hilarious for me

and re zero and konosuba (heard good things about those 2 isekais) are on under my radar for long years, but i haven't watched anime in months due to burnout.

what about worst doujin genres in your opinion tho? if youre having a hard time deciding your favorites, might as well state the genres that you think are the worst.

i do hate lolis and incest tho, which is why i hate no game no life and yes i gave it a 7/10 because i love the animation and the comedy in it and how the mind games work on it. could have been a great isekai tho. but deep down we both know isekai can never be perfect

btw i know that you read doujins, but you never really told me like what doujin genres you're really into

like for me i used to read doujins when i was still in my teenager phase, not so much as of now.

My favorite genres are obviously harem and reverse harem

if you dont want to consider yourself with either of those "compliments" that i said/mention about you when i talked about your skills/talents , but then again still youre much more knowledgeable person (in terms of ani-manga culture) than me regardless. i have alot to learn from you as well

yeah i like japan but im more interested in the ani manga culture as opposed to japanese culture as a whole

so you only like reading and watching but everything outside of that, the rest just doesnt interest you, i get it.

oh wow. Didn't know that you're multi-lingual, i thought that you were just bilingual. To be able to understand, write and speak 5 languages. So not only you rich but also a versatile person with violin skills

And on top of that you're a bigger asianphile/Japanophile than me

Well safe to say that in terms of animes, mangas,LN (donghuas and manhwas if you want to count those) you have a high count for those when compared to me. You're much more experienced in that regard.

Only thing where I guess I truly excel at when compared to you is JP games I guess. But that's not saying much you're still way above and ahead of me

um wait what? its Bit of vague statement. i didn't really fully get it.

So you can like speak and understand japanese, korean, and Chinese fluently without any support of subtitles? Or is it because it would feel odd and a bit awkward (from your POV) to watch media content in English dub?

Or is it mix of both?

so i presume that you mostly (or if not always) consume japanese media content on original/japanese language rather than english dub?

because for me i think twice before deciding on which language to watch. im not a purist who always prefers watching japanese content (be it anime or jp games) on original language or other way around (english language).

played in japanese huh? i played both on english because i often play all games on english (but for square enix games english dub is a 100% must because it has corny moments) for either amusing purposes or full of emotion in a good/bad way. it works

oh and one more thing, idk how the english dubbing of nier automata anime is (the eng dub of game is really great), japanese take their seiyuus much more seriously than their english dub cast. no corny-ness at all

oh and i forgot to ask ya, did you played automata in english or japanese? not that it matters but both japanese and english are masterpiece and great in their own way to experience

i have yet to play replicant but JRPG's drain too much of my time, so i highly doubt ill play it. but if it gets an anime adaptation by a-1 pictures and directed by yoko taro then sure i would much rather watch the anime

(side note: yoko taro also made drakengard 1 and 3 (not 2). and drakengard 1 and 3 are connected to nier-timeline)

and as for nier automata anime, take my guaranteed word for it and do watch it when you get free time for it. just ignore the hate that it got on the internet by nier cultists
