But with that being said, I should have paid more attention to your recommendation. Turns out, I watched Vampire Hunter D 1985 version... I am kind of embarrassed to say that I watched the WHOLE movie without even noticing which version I was looking at... I did have some passing thought of why the visuals were older than its time, but that question was not as concerning considering that I enjoy many old school anime as much or more than the anime I see now. Hopefully, I will get the chance to watch Vampire Hunter D in the NEWER version. And as for suggestions, I see that you have already watched everything I would have suggested to you since you've watched way more than me.
