Hello there and welcome to my page. My name is Daniel and i live in Denmark. ( and yes it is me in my profile pic from when i was around 27 I'm 36 as of 2025 i just look a bit older now but about the same )

Not much going on my page beside me using the site to look for all anime shows ever made ( or what the site has to offer ) and give each a fair 1 episode watch ( sometimes it takes 2 or 3 ) and then either drop the show and all things connected to it and move on to the next thing ( because the show did nothing for me ) or keep watching tell its done and watch all other things that's connected to the show ( because i liked the show in someway )

Update: I have now been through everything the site has to offer beside a few things that's put on hold for varies reasons, and only have new things that gets added to check out. For that reason i might give some shows a second chance if i feel like i want to watch some anime

What i mostly look for in a anime is something that is funny ( to me ) or can put a smile on my face. I also like anime that are mysterious or has a story that gets me interested and i really really like anime that take place in a fantasy / medieval world ( sword, shield, bow, magic etc ) i have always loved that type of thing in everything be it games, movies, anime. cartoon, comic, artwork, even toys as a kid though i like the dark side of it more ( the cool evil monsters / sexy demon and vampire girls etc )

Comedy ( comedy can be really great and really funny to watch but like so many things it comes down to if you find it funny or not as not all things are funny to everyone so its a bit of a hit or miss thing )

Ecchi ( like comedy i feel ecchi is a great thing to have in a show and it can be a really funny/sexy thing, but it ofc it not for everyone and not all ecchi is great, but it makes a show better i feel, but it can go overboard and become hentai if done wrong )

Slice of life ( i really like when a shows puts some focus on the daily life/routine of people as it makes them more human and you can relate a bit etc, and not everything needs to be important to a story, sometimes a bit laid back point less common talk if good as long as it does not go overboard )

Sci-fi is about 50 / 50 for me ( i feel sometimes something cool and interesting can be made with the sci-fi setting but most off the time it ends up being boring )

Fighting anime ( I'm not a big fan, it gets dull over time when all that is happening is people fighting each other and not much else really happens in the show, and that's how most fighting anime go )

Adventure/fantasy ( i feel like the 2 go hand in hand but not always ofc, its the thing i love watching the most as it shows things you wont find in real life, and that just makes it so cool and interesting, i have always loved it from when i was a kid tell this day and i love reading/playing things related to this type of thing )

Horror ( for me horror is very boring and dull, it just tries to scar you and that's it, rest off the time nothing interesting happens )

Robot / robot suits ( i find that the Mecha universe is much like the fighting one that all that really happens is something bad comes so lets hurry to the robot etc and go fight it, pretty much every single episode and that just gets really dull over time )

Magic girl ( for me magic girl is more off a girl type off show even though ofc some guys like it, it's just very girly / sparkling and that's just not for me )

Idol / boy band ( I'm not into that type off music that does shows go for, and in general not a big music person anymore )

Boys love ( Being gay etc is fine if that's what you are into and i have meet gay people in real life, but I'm not into watching 2 guy's loving each other )

Girls love ( can be good and it can be bad, i feel it comes down to if there is to heavily a focus on the girls love part it can be a bit to much, i feel there needs to be some comedy or slice of life or just a good story, and not just pure focus on the girls love part )

Romance / drama ( for me Romance and drama in any movie / tv etc format is so boring, nothing interesting ever happens and it's super slow going, Romance and drama in real life is one thing, but watching it is just so dull and not my cup off tea )

Sports ( i have never been a fan off any sports, i played some when i was a kid but i was never really interested in it and i feel that if your not into sports it's very boring and dull watching it be it anime or real life )

Old asian culture like martial arts / samurai or things from the asian culture beliefs like ghost / gods etc ( though i do like some of the real life versions of old asian stuff, i'm not really into any off it and it might be because I'm not from around asia or really care what thing's use to be like there etc, compared to something like the medieval times in europa that i find much more interesting )

Mystery/Suspense/Story focused ( i feel does type of shows are greatly a miss or hit, as it really depends on if you find the story interesting or not, and seeing as does a heavily focused on a story it really is important that the story is something you enjoy, or you wont find it interesting at all )

Game related ( not a fan off game related anime unless i have played the game so i know what is going on, as most game anime do a bad job explaining, and you become clueless what is going on because you are missing information that you would know had you played the game )

Young kid shows ( does shows are way to focused on simple silly things easy for young kids to understand and not really made for someone my age to be interested in )

Hentai ( at least not for story )

Anything that only last a few min/sec gets a instant drop as i don't want to watch something that only last that little time as i feel you get nothing from something like that and it's just there as a fan services.

Of course there is always an exception with any of does it all depend on the anime.

I have a simple score system i use which is either. I drop the anime as i don't like it and give it NO score as i feel just because i did not like it does not mean its a bad show in anyway but its just not for me. Or i watch a show and give it a score of either 6 if i did like the anime but felt something was missing that would make me like it more or 8 if i really liked it and felt it was near perfect (i don't believe in 10s seeing as nothing is that perfect). If i really love a anime show then i spend money on getting a hard copy for my collection.

I do have some other anime / manga related items such as expensive giclee paper artwork for my walls that i frame ( i got a mix of fantasy / anime artwork in my home ) and some manga that i wanted to know the ending of seeing as the anime never told the full story and sometimes i find some manga that does not have a anime yet that seems like it could be interesting ( i do have some comics as well ) and i have a few 500s visual novels for pc.

P.S I never watch any show tell the season is done airing so i can watch it all as fast as i want and not need to wait. And seeing as there are so many other shows around it's not really a problem for me to wait.

Don't judge on what something should / could be and don't judge on the material used to make it be it book / light novel / manga etc does things still exist out there if you want to read does this is a different way to consume ( and remember most people like the material better because A you can make your own pictures in your head where as anime well show you it instead and B you can keep on going forever with material where as anime well end at some point as in most cases it can not fit all that information in the limited time it has to tell it and C most of the time anime is used as a way to get people to read the material in the first place aka a taste test aka commercial for the product witch is why so many things end before it is over aka only 1-2 seasons with most things unless is it very popular with most people and even then you might not get the full material story in anime format ).

Judge it for what it is and what you got from it and don't compare one thing vs another especially something you find better then the others as no show is made the same even if it tries to show the same thing and that does not mean it's more bad it's just told in a different way and maybe you just like the other way better and that's fine but that does not mean that does shows should be trashed over others just pick what you like instead and leave the rest as again we are all different people and like different things and other people well think opposite what you think.

Even before you judge something get more experience by seeing many many more things so you know what is good and what is bad for you and by how much and remember don't let other people influence what you think as we all don't think the same as we are all different people and we all want things we like to be the best ever but that is not how the world works and you need to understand that and take what you can get as nothing you do well change that as no one can change how the world works.

Do remember just because most people think something is good does not mean you well think the same and the same applies with what most people think is bad as just because most people think something is bad does not mean you well think the same so always expand on what you pick from as there are many great things out there that you might never see if you don't look where most people don't look.

Just because something does not use the newest teknologi does not mean its a bad show and the same can be said that even if it uses the newest teknologi that does not mean its a masterpiece. I have seen countless old shows that were good with poor teknologi compared to today's standards and countless shows with today's teknologi that was bad it all depends on what you get from it but it should never be the graphics that hocks you into watching it / not watching it in the first place because you can never put your trust that good graphics means it well be a good show same as bad graphics does not = bad show it's the other stuff in the show that's more important and is what you should be paying more attention to to figure out if you like it or not. That being said i can fully understand why some people ( me included ) don't like some shows if it has some unique graphic choices that is not common to use as depending what you like it can really put you off from watching does shows.

Don't put all your faith in other peoples reviews. What i mean by that is all reviewers out there are different people meaning they well all make different reviews and the reviews they make might not apply to you unless you feel like that person does as again you are a different person compared to that person so there is a strong chance you wont feel the same way about the same thing meaning you can't really fully depend on what someone says about something. There is nothing wrong about reading reviews but no matter what that person says you always need to see the thing yourself to come up with your own judgment about it or you wont really know how you feel about it.

Having an opinion is good and normal and we all got aver own opinion about everything. But there is a difference between an opinion and fully trashing something just because you did not like it. Instead of trashing something just talk normal with people what you liked or did not like about it but don't go crazy mode talking trash about the show and all people that like it just because you think something different then they do as that just shows your a child that can't have a grownup conversation because the only thing you know how to say is "that's trash or that's good just because i say so and no your wrong about what you think and only what i think is true" No one wants to talk to someone like that or even hear what they have to say.

Stop being so serious about things that's happening in shows it's fiction and not real so there is no reason to go so crazy about something you see in a show no matter what it is. If you can't handle things that's made up and animated you are to soft and might have a rough time in real life considering how the real world is / works.

Do yourself a favor, if you know you well end up giving something a bad score aka know that it's not for you then don't watch it to begin with your only going to hurt yourself and waste your own time when you could spend it on something you get more out of.
