Formerly Ushiromiya Subaru

I'm a massive fan of a good tragedy and suffering, but I'm not a fan of stories where everyone ends up miserably (I'm never reading PunPun and you're never gonna make me stfu). Subaru Natsuki, Allen Walker, and Battler Ushiromiya are my three favorite characters of all time for how they literally go through hell and have tragedy after tragedy happen to them but are still able to be charismatic and good people at the end of it all, I guess like how most people view Guts but I never fully clicked with Berserk. Anyway, have a nice day I'm finally gonna go through the rest of my manga pile now.

yeah it was great :) the progression of the art quality along with the plot/characters was stellar

I've got it high on my plan to read list, do you know if it's finishing anytime soon? I've heard it's been plagued with hiatuses. The only manga I really like reading chapter to chapter are slice of life, everything else I prefer to binge read. If there's no end in sight I'll probably start it soon (probably not for a little while though since Pandora hearts has satiated my urge for sexy victorian era vibes, and I still need to finish Usogui) but if it could wrap up sometime in the next couple years I'll probably wait. I won't tolerate Pandora hearts slander btw, it was a banger, there's a reason literally every single non-preliminary review is positive

dont be. the things you know shopuld be pretty obvious to an avid reader like you anyway. just enjoy the way the pieces move, not the way the pieces appear in a vacuum

It's hard to compare Usogui and LOTM since they're so different, Both are Masterpieces imo. LOTM just appeals more to my personal tastes, I can't really ask for more from a series personally.
