Quattro is probably my favourite Char as well, but you still got The Origin to see if that still stands. hope you find the time to watch Char's Counterattack soon. personally not huge on that one, but it has its moments as well as my favourite mobile suit and I still consider it an important entry in the franchise

Yes, I also don't check them often for the exact same reason. It's a shame that our community is still full of prejudice when it comes to same-sex relationships (specially when they don't belong to the BL or GL genres). However, as I watched Yorimoi, I couldn't help but think that those two were an item.

It's just plain obvious (maybe because I'm a girl who likes girls as well) when you observe their interactions carefully. They had known each other for ages, Takako wanted Shirase to get closer to Gin, Shirase's father was completely erased from the narrative, Gin's suffering and guilt over Takako's death was shown many times throughout the show, Gin couldn't think of a guy who would be her type when the girls asked her, Kanae even referred to Shirase as Gin and Takako's daughter, and that last scene where Shirase gives Takako's computer to Gin was very symbolic to me. If Gin had been a guy, people wouldn't have doubted their relationship at all. They wouldn't say Gin and Takako were "just friends".

Sure, most of it is subtext, but just because they weren't shown kissing on screen, it doesn't mean it didn't happen or that it's not real. We both know people just don't want to acknolwdge it as they can't come up with counterarguments to our points.

Yeah, pretty much when it comes to anime (finished Takagi-san with him too). During meals I tend to watch Drv3 (walkthrough), almost done with that (on chapter 5 out of 6) so maybe it'll free up some time for anime while I'm eating, I feel pretty bad that Aikatsu Stars ended for example and I got super behind on it, lol.

I mostly get it through Twitter, from the fanart especially (whatever show is getting the most fanart is usually pretty popular). I haven't gone on Kitsu in a while, lol. Did see Twitter buzz about After the Rain too, I watched artists go nuts over 002 /pink haired girl in Darling in the Franxx (even though Ichigo is way cuter.......If I was quick enough I'd do a fanart of her to balance out the way too many 002 fanarts, but I am way too busy with studies and ongoing vn fanarts as of rn/don't want to rush something out just to be ''relevant''). I watched a few episodes of the show and really didn't like it right from the start personally lol.

I don't have much time to watch stuff myself nowadays, picked it up mostly because Redy wanted to watch it as well (been streaming it with him). Never heard of those last 2, guess I'll keep an eye out (I've been pretty out of the loop when it comes to most airing stuff recently outside of the shows that get a lot of buzz, lol).

Yuru Camp is pretty comfy, not really amazing or anything but I'd place it in the ''solid show even if not very memorable'' category. It has (1) really cute girl (Rin, the blue haired girl) so that alone makes it worth it, tbh. It reminds me of Yama no Susume vaguely, I guess because they both involve mountains and cute girls technically. Would recommend, even if I still need to finish it myself. Also hyped for more Amanchu for sure, I need that in my life so badly

Oh yeah, need to finish my Penguindrum rewatch at some point myself. Also yeah, it is a bit scary to not be sure if the audience would accept it or not.... I still have other options if it didn't go as I want it to since there are a lot of things i'd like to draw, though. I don't plan to draw the same things forever for sure. Also yeah, stuff should be able to hold up on its own or it'll just be limited to a pretty small audience (while something that's really good can still break through even if it's fanart from something obscure).

Yeah, I haven't seen Phantom either. I watched one episode of Thunderbolt Fantasy and it just looks like a meme show to me. I saw the first eps of Aldonah Zero back when it came out as well and that was just...Bad, so yeah would not recommend you finish it.

Yeah, I won't stop over stuff not being popular. I get a special kind of excitement when drawing when it's something I feel other people haven't really drawn much of before (makes it feel like I am actually filling some sort of gap, even if I am not very good at it yet). I do want to draw Danganronpa fanart as well at some point. But yeah ty for the encouragement, I really appreciate it!

Wow, Aria is popular somewhere, I'm so happy (makes sense it'd be Italy too, lol). I used to watch animax all the time, though it mostly had stuff I'd already seen like random Detective conan episodes.

Iirc yeah, since the manga kept on afterwards. I really liked the way they introduced and talked about characters as well, that whole show feels kinda like a heartwarming documentary or something, and I always felt like it had a lot of...Soul to it? As weird as that sounds lol, don't know how to word it any better. I remember thinking the mc was pretty fun and liking the contrast between him and Hibito, which is a bit similar to how I feel towards my own younger brother (though he isn't an astronaut of course, lol). There was this one bit that idk if you got to that also really stuck with me (it was at around ep 40 or so I believe).

Makishima does kinda give off the same vibe as Griffith, yeah (rip Berserk). My favorite Urobutchi is still Madoka, I think.

Yeah, it definitely is a niche within a niche lol. I always get a little sad less because of not having people to discuss it with (since I do) but more because I like and want to draw visual novel fanart, but most people don't even know about visual novels unless they are the big ones (ex: clannad). Reading stuff in japanese only makes that worse too, lol
