Sorry for the late response, I meant to reply earlier but it slipped my mind.
I hope your exams went (or are going) well! Math & physics are definitely tough subjects, but they're especially rewarding to get right.
Law's pretty fun so far. It's a lot of work, but I think it's satisfying.
Right now, it's mostly just studying for me, since in law school, you're assigned a lot of reading (estimated 40-80 pages a day of reading). But, I'm enjoying the time off that I have.
I hope that you've been having, and will continue to have a fantastic year.
I'm glad to hear that you've been going well. How's studying for exams going?
What about you?
Tokyo's definitely fun; you should visit it if you get the opportunity.
The atmosphere of Tokyo depended on where you were. In Akihabara and Harajuku, it'd be very lively and spirited, whereas at a place like Shibuya or Shinjuku, it'd be more 'business-like.'
I didn't visit any temples. I did visit the Meiji Shrine though. I primarily visited the shopping areas of Tokyo -- I liked Harajuku the best, but I also went to the other popular, commercial areas (Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza, Tokyo Station, etc.).
For the remainder of my holidays, I'll probably spend a good amount of that time studying for the upcoming LSAT (a test). Of course, I'll also be reading and watching stuff.
What questions did you have about the country?
Overall, I had a great time. I miss it more now that I'm back. It's a great place to visit (just the weather...).
What's funny about the timing is that I just stumbled across a SECOND person with Inuyasha in their favorites and said much the same thing, just a week ago.
That's two whole people who love Inuyasha!
:(
I'm tempted to put it in my own favorites just to give it some much needed support.
I actually haven't seen The Final Act yet. If you'd believe it, I've watched the first 70 episodes like five times, but always get sidetracked around there. It's ironic, because I adore the characters so dearly, and it's probably the most charming anime I've ever seen.
I've recently learned to break up long shows into arcs so my attention span doesn't get burnt out by the long runtime, so after finishing up my other mammoth projects (LOGH and HxH), I'm hoping to finally see it through after like 12 years.
The show is highly underrated. While I do agree with some of the complaints widely leveled against it (hence the fact I'm only half way through, despite adoring the show for over a decade now), it's really got a charm that not enough anime manage, and a cast that is well beyond simply memorable and endearing.
Good to see somebody giving it its due respect!
The holiday's ending for me too, so I'm heading back to my dorm tomorrow night. It's a pain -- I know, I'd wish the break would last longer too. My first quarter's already over, so I'm beginning the Winter Quarter this coming up Monday. It'll be fun... Not really.
Are you at the point where you're doing college applications?
I've been fine. I spent the majority of the Christmas break at home -- I did go out to the mall, to go shopping, and what not. But, nothing aside from that. What about you?
