I enjoy and appreciate all the genres but I absolutely love the types of anime which have extreme emotional depth and fully utilise the art of characterisation. Best of the Best, Cream of the Crop, Absolute Bangers, Anime with little or nothing wrong at all.
In such an anime, I mainly focus on Music, the Art Direction, the Animation quality and the ability of the characters to express themselves, the Voice Acting, the beauty of the scenes and the hidden nuances which makes that particular scene a 100 times better.
Basically I judge the anime with an eye of a critic as well as judge the enjoyment factor.
