Welcome to FZREMAKE's profile you filthy mongrels
Mina-san, konnichiwa!. FZREMAKE desu.
I am just a casual weeb who enjoys anime/manga. Used to watch anime during my childhood but got back to the medium in 2018 (maybe). I enjoy watching Shonen and romcoms but I am open to any good suggestion. I also read many manga since they are easier to access and I can read them at my own pace. Plus there is a large variety of them. I read digitally and I own physical volumes as well.
I dont remember my first anime but Elfen Lied, Fruits basket, Kaichou wa Maid sama, and Fate/Zero seems to be my first animes.
My favorite anime are;
Fate series (well its hard to list them all but lets just say that zero is my favorite)
Demon Slayer
Elfen lied
Gintama
Grand Blue
(This is not like a complete list so I am mentioning only these for now).
Now the manga section
My manga list might have been longer but I have not added every single manga/manhwa/manhua/webtoon/twitter manga etc to the list. That is because I sometimes don't remember some older ones that I used to read before joining MAL or they are still not listed here on this site. (I can easily list over 100 or 200 Manga/Hua/Hwa that I have red but are not on this site).
My favorite genre for manga is romcoms. I am a sucker for romance manga and I love the heartwarming, cute, sweet, adorable, heart thumping, doki doki, Kawaii, adrenaline, serotonin, oxytocin, must protect feeling that it generates within me. I love all sort of romcoms but specifically I like Shonen type romcoms where the story usually takes place before a love confession. The build up, the misunderstanding, the sweet and Kawaii moments, the cliché, the events that lead up to a confession are all what I crave for. I also like age gap or height gap cute and wholesome romcoms. I also like delinquents type of romance where either the boy or girl is a delinquent but has a soft or cute side towards the opposite sex. Isn't that heart warming :)
How I score
Well I don't usually have a set criteria for scoring anime/manga. I just score based on enjoyment. If I feel like I enjoyed the anime, I would give it a high score and overlook some minor blemishes. Same for manga as well but I usually score them early as well (like after 3 or 5 chapters). My scores for romcoms are generally high because they are easy to please me and hence I enjoy them more.

I write my replies in Japanese and then use a translation website to translate them into English. After that, I review the Japanese version and may adjust the wording to ensure the intended nuance is conveyed accurately. However, since I was unable to translate your comments in a way that was understandable to you this time, I sincerely apologize.
Additionally, I believe there was an error in the nuance of the translation, but in Japanese, I did not use the word “dislike” even once, despite you repeating it multiple times. Therefore, when you said I had written “dislike” multiple times, it didn't resonate with me.
Well, as you say, there are people who absolutely hate “Demon Slayer” yet watch all the seasons, go to the movies, buy the manga, and watch new episodes as soon as they're released. Similar phenomena occur with other works, so it's not that unusual.
Furthermore, in my opinion, people who pay for the official version instead of pirated versions overseas and enthusiastically follow a work they hate are not “anti-fans” but fans.
Sometimes I think that people who enthusiastically follow a work they hate are just masochistic.
There are people who continue to watch something they hate because it's trendy or because they need it as a topic of conversation in their daily lives. Personally, I find it annoying, but if I were in school, I might have watched it all the way through just to have a common topic of conversation, even if I wasn't interested in the work.
I'm a bit disappointed that there's no specific explanation of what you define as an “anti-fan,” but thank you for your comment.
I don't know how you personally define what an "anti" is, but I’ve always said things like, "Hope you enjoy the movie," to people who go see it—including you.
Also, one of the reasons I find Demon Slayer hard to enjoy is because of people like you—those who label others as “antis” just for saying they don’t particularly love the series. That kind of behavior makes it difficult for me to fully embrace the fandom.
While I said I don’t particularly love the series, my stance is: “If someone can enjoy it, then that’s great—let them enjoy it.”
So, does the attitude of “there are parts I like and parts I dislike (or struggle with)” mean someone is automatically labeled as an anti?
I’ve paid to watch the movie myself and have been thinking about how much the final box office revenue might be—not just for this film, but in comparison with others. If I estimate the earnings lower than you expect, does that make me a jealous anti in your eyes?
I’m honestly just curious—what exactly is your definition of an anti? Feel free to share if you feel like it.
And you don’t need to bother to discuss box office revenue in Japan with me. If I feel like it, I can check the number of viewers every 20 minutes to an hour and compare with last week on the movie’s thread. That might miss some data, but it’s reasonably accurate. So you don’t have to share what you think is the latest information with me.
Instead, share your info with people who are curious about Demon Slayer’s performance in Japan but are too lazy to translate or research it themselves. If you can translate Japanese yourself, it’s also interesting to check daily, hourly, or even 20-minute gross numbers — I recommend that. I think tomorrow morning’s initial attendance figures will be interesting.
Actually, I don’t particularly like Demon Slayer, so let’s drop the topic. Thanks for all your replies in the comments. I hope you enjoy the movie on the 14th.
By the way, the only movie I couldn’t watch because it was sold out was Spirited Away. And the Sailor Moon R movie was in a situation where it was sold out too, but they still allowed standing-room-only viewing.
Anyway, if you and your 5–10 friends go to the movie, there’s a high chance you won’t be able to get seats together. You’ll probably have to sit separately. One of my coworkers went with two others during the holiday, and even on the second day after release, it seems there was still some merch left over.
There are some people foolishly posting spoiler images and comments, but I hope you can enjoy the movie in August with a fresh perspective, free from spoilers. Since your country’s release is in August and not September, you're actually getting it a bit earlier than others.
In the countryside, there is not much entertainment, so people go to movie theaters when they are not busy. Also, anime otaku go to see the same movie over and over again, so it is rare that no one goes, even in the countryside. The release period of anime movies is getting longer every year, and there are more and more movies being shown.
Well, depending on the day of the week and time of day, sometimes it's a private viewing with a few people. I'm hoping that once I get a chance to see a movie in a theater by myself.
Well, Demon Slayer seems to be doing well at the box office when it first opened, or rather when it started opening. Well, it has been screened many times, so it's no surprise, I would say. Well, next week and the week after that, the number of screenings will be gradually reduced, and the number of screenings will be adjusted because the movie with the second highest box-office revenue is currently fully booked and there are people who want to see it but can't. I think the box-office revenue per day will peak this week.
I'm hoping to avoid this time of year even if I do go to see it, since the bad-mannered patrons, who look like cinema newbies, are concentrated on Demon Slayer right now....
Will you be seeing it on August 14? I'm in the area, too, and the movie is open, but I'm thinking that if I do go see it, it will probably be in August.
This is the reservation status for tomorrow. You can make reservations normally and the display is a double circle, which means there is enough room for seats.
Well, they are promoting the movie so enthusiastically that I think it's a stunt compared to other movies, so I think it will make a decent amount of money at the box office.
I'm in the country, not in Tokyo or Kyoto, but I can see it without a reservation if I want to, so I had to laugh when I saw your comment about it being sold out.
I'm not that interested in the movie, so I'll probably go see it if the perks are something I think I'd like. Today Today At least, this week, it's not a perk I want and I'm not going to see it.
Oh, it was a translation error on our part. I understand that it is an animated film. Not all cinemas in Japan are sold out. My local cinema has 20 showings today and so far none of them are sold out.
Maybe it is sold out in Japan where you know I don't live.
I don't know about the third one because it was removed. So I'm wondering what comment you wrote.
