I see that you got Stand Alone Complex in your PTW list. My tomboyish friend from Maryland very close to your age is a huge fan of that and Dot Hack because of similar American voices they share. She has a soft spot for Kimi ni Todoke and Jigoku Shoujo too.

I too prefer Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as Motoko Kusanagi. Also the voice of Helba, Julia, Kilika and others. My condolences to Atsuko Tanaka, by the way.

So yes milady, you got lots of interesting anime to watch. It's been two years since I last re-watched Stand Alone Complex and Madlax. It's also been a year since I last watched Solty Rei. I love Mamiko Noto and Sayaka Ohara which were also featured in Valkyria Chronicles. Laura Bailey also, the best Isara Gunther next to Houko Kuwashima (congratulations to her for taking on a new role in SEED Freedom while reprising her role).

Holy crap - just got the Umineko no Naku Koro Ni fighting game and this thing is awesome.

So far I have discovered that George Ushiromiya has some badass breakdancing attacks but he runs like he has no bones, the red falsehoods and blue truths are great for punching people in the face with and a 'When They Cry' game can actually have decent art.

You're a Lupin maniac right? You really need to check out the new Lupin anime that's coming out this season. It is hella stylish and mainly focuses around Fujiko, but it's really, really cool. Seriously high budget and awesome art too~

Fairdoos. It's following the manga pretty closely (in fact, it's actually doing it REALLY well). Persona 4 is stylish as hell, but seems to have a pretty basic structure each episode which it doesn't tend to diverge from, so it's a bit problematic.

MLP should hopefully stop hiatus'ing randomly after this week. Seems to be a pretty basic weekly structure set in place for at least the next 4 episodes as of next week, if the rumours are true.

Guess you're not having much luck getting a job? I'm in a similar situation, applying all over the place but never actually getting responses.
