Thanks for visiting my profile. I like watching, reading, and playing all sorts of media. I love football, music and Jesus. That's a decent summary.
If you like any of my supposed egregious takes, a review of mine, animanga favourites and/or Until Then and Before Your Eyes(video games I really love), then send me a friend request, and let's talk about nerdy shi. Cuz art connects people. Or sumn corny like that.
My first anime was Beyblade. I don't remember much of it, and my only memory of watching it is about when I was about 4-5 years old. I was half-asleep or sumn when I fell from a chair and bruised my jaw. Weird ass core memory. My real first anime was DBS, it was rlly fun. What got me into the medium was MHA tho. I watched it when I was 12. And, I've been into animanga ever since. I'm not sure that if I would love MHA if I watched it for the first time again as I am right now. But it moved a younger me, so I appreciate it for that. My favourite genre of music is Hiphop. Ig I like alternative rock, and R&B, and whatever genre 'A New Kind of Love' falls into. My favourite footballer is Neymar Junior, cuz he plays the sport as beautifully as one can play it. These days I'm slowly getting addicted to romcoms, or rather, anything with romance. Sad times out here.
It's only recently I've begun to see media, more specifically art, as inherently subjective and non-communicative. It's only there to express, and any meaning the self derives from what is experienced is begotten from the individual's beliefs, morals, and circumstances. People bonding and finding beauty in something so divisive and subjective, I find that really cool. Sometimes, I'm just hella bored or desire a lil escape from reality. Reading, watching, observing. These actions help time pass by. And once in a while, I find something really special while doing that. The scores I give anime or manga don't really matter. I find value in most art. Because an artist put a piece of themselves in that work; they expressed what they thought beautiful and/or meaningful, and that connected deeply with someone. Bonus points if it connects with me personally. Imma be real tho, I'm still gonna call what I find lacklustre 'mid'. I just like discussing with people bout shi like that, you know. My scores are somewhat harsh. I mean, Nisekoi made me cry because of its ending(the correct ending), and I only gave it a 7 because of the formulaic and generic nature of the manga. Its only harsh because I want to set apart what I really love from anything and everything else.
A 10 year old and a 75 year old war veteran won't view AOT in the same way. There are people out there who fully believe One Piece isn't political. That's what I mean by media is subjective. So how exactly do I critique something that can be intepreted in a completely different way by someone else from how I see it? Idk gng. And idrc. How it progressed its plot. How it incorporated and implemented its visual and audio components to assist it's narrative. How it developed its characters. Even downright to how it uses exposition. And, most importantly, what I felt that anime, manga, manhwa, LN etc imparted unto me, and how it executed that. That's what I will critique. In simpler terms, a general summary of how I critique media is; Impact/Enjoyment>>Themes/Purpose>= Characters> Plot> Production/Art/Prose/Gameplay
My scores are for all types of fictional media. So e.g. The Silent Voice movie is only a mid-ish 7/10 in comparision to something as masterful as Miller's Death of A Salesman, which I have as a 9/10. Elitist much but idrc. A explanation for special scores(you aint't gotta read allat + I'm still working out my anime scores):
A 1/10 does not exist. Even the most atrocious of works will appeal to someone. However, I cannot find value or merit in reprehensible and/or absurdly hateful media. Those would be what I would warrant a 1/10. Thankfully, I haven't watched or read any animanga like that.
I really dislike 4/10s. How exactly does something of promise, something well written and/or entertaining become bad? There are a multitude of ways: The inclusion and condoning(keyword) of moral deplorability, the eventual presence of character assassination, the continuous insertion of laughable and nonsensical plot points etc. I really really dislike 4/10s. It should have been something much greater, or at least, much more satisfying.
5/10s aren't bad, but they aren't good either. I enjoy a few 5 outta 10s for the most part(Alya sometimes hides her feelings in Russian), and I find most 5/10s painfully average for the most part(Apothecary Diaries). The good and bad are balanced. Yin and Yang.
A 6 is heavily flawed but enjoyable for the most part or a really decent/solid animanga. The manga of Kaguya-Sama should be here, but I would never give Kaguya-Sama such a score.
An 8 is either a near or fully exceptional piece of fiction(FMAB) or one of my huge, personal favourites(Your Name). You can decide which I think is which.
10/10s are rare. They are something really special. Something that deeply impacts me. Something I really connect with. Something that shapes my way of thinking.

I get that not everyone likes artistic shows, I was also like that once. I'd recommend watching it in future after you have gained some experience with artistic anime. It's a masterpiece, trust.
about the spoily episode thingy i am still joking, but i am not freaking letting the facade off because i cannot breathe after how much i laughed yesterday, it's always funny to see older people fight with you for meaningless shit, like teachers who won't accept they are wrong...i am just spending my vacation in the only fun way i can get on this site, f*cking with haters who are made about you breathing, because i had enough...
🥳🎉🥰. I am glad you like that. By the way i had some issues too. Especially about authorities, Boss etc they are one of my least favorites of all time. But just Courier and Ah- 😭😭
:) Your recommendation was perfect, i will look forward to any more your suggestions too. 😻
