Yeah, it just removes all of the impact because there are no consequences, and that's just what makes a story good.
As much as I like deeper meanings, I don't think there necessarily think it needs to be profound but more just make sense or well written in terms of the world they've built. Like a lot of them go off of the notion that it's on the basis of real life laws and morals and then don't inject the tension of what's happening to these laws of this world. I feel if you wanted Shota to be okay in your story maybe make a small section, or write it in subtly that fucking shotas are okay but if you don't make these explicit people just default back to daily life; laws and morals and then i'm sitting here like oh okay, I mean the art is nice, but why is she fucking him like its normal? But again, I think I want to much and there has to be a suspension of disbelief, so it makes it easier for the author.
Yeah, typecasting kinda sucks, but then there are those super niche tag combos or something, so niche only one person dedicates their life to it and are just amazing at that. I wish that more would branch out like you said to see how they tackle new scenarios and then maybe finding something they like adding to there more commonly written works?
Yeah, you can pick one and write about it in ur next reply and the next time I reply Ill give you a report on it or my thoughts as well. That is a good idea!
The gifs really suck sometimes, Im sorry :(

Two steaks, one train sounds like a perfect plan. Efficiency and deliciousness, I respect that.
I can just imagine that ride, being a Kamehameha shot out of Goku’s hands?? I’d die laughing, but also 10/10 would try it.
I’ll be honest for a sec… while watching, I kept thinking, “Wtf is this? Why am I watching this?” It was such a messed-up experience. Would not recommend at all!
Haha, right? There’s just so much yuri in the world, I simply must read it all. Rowdiest, huh? Damn, I wonder… hmm.
Totally get it, Your Lie in April hits different. That show just knows how to open the tear gates, doesn’t it? I feel you.
Actually, not as much with the acoustic, I find the electric guitar strings less painful since they’re not as thick, but I totally understand your pain.
What a coincidence… totally makes sense that Odysseus went on the first Odyssey! :D
Haha, my music account isn’t really anything to see, I don’t post on it, I just follow music accounts and spam likes (^^")
But wow, your art sounds amazing! Making OCs and planning a story from them is so cool, and fanart for all those shows? That’s cool. I’ll have to check out those three drawings you mentioned, I’m curious to see them!
Yeah, I get what you mean about yuri. A lot of mainstream stuff is written with a male audience in mind, especially older or commercial works. But there’s also plenty created by women for women, or just telling authentic stories about relationships between girls. If you’re curious, even reading a little can show you the range, some yuri is more “for the story” than “for the male gaze,” and it can be really heartfelt and relatable.
I loved your profile
For sure, it really does feel vanilla at times, the incest part is just saying they are, but where's like the buildup and what's wrong with this, it's just insinuated I guess... It's like they just throw it in without another thought, it's like having an ass focus tag and then focusing on her ass for one panel and that's it... like i want this long drawn out battle of balancing the weight and thoughts if this is moral or immoral and if it ends up being immoral how long will it take for them to eventually break or will they even care?
Honestly it does seem kinda funny and also it's good I feel at the same time, because it's not like we're braindead, and we can actually investigate why we like things to further narrow down what we truly like, sorta like subtags or subgenres. I would rather talk with a person who can understand and hold a conversation than someone who only watches Shonen. IDK I just think it is nice to see why we like things, also maybe it's something like giving that little extra care to the author, i mean they deserve praise and criticism as much as any other artist, but they are deemed bad cuz porn, LMAO. It's about crafting a good story and visuals, and that's hard, so it just sucks probably because of how polarizing it is for hentai artists.
But yeah, we could do a book club type of thing if you're down LMAO like we read the same doujin that we pick and they tell each other our thoughts? LIke we pick a tag and then give 3 suggestions and then pick one or something, idk, just thoughts.

Nice to meet you ^w^

HAHAHA any perks? Nahhh, I don’t think so at least.
So true, it really looks so cool. I really like theme parks that are inspired by shows, like Legoland is awesome because they’ve got Lego everywhere, which is such a nice detailed touch. I bet the DBZ theme park will be just as cool when it opens.
DUDE NAHHH, haha. I swear I remember watching that shit and it traumatized me. I was like, “hold the fuck up, THAT’S A KIDDD, why are you teaching a kid that stuff??” But I think it’s public now, I had my mod friend help me change it.
Nah, I get you. I think it was the opposite for me though. I watched Up first, then Your Lie in April. And when Your Lie in April came around, I cried like crazy. I remember watching one of the sad episodes during a family event, and then my mom walked in. She thought I was heartbroken or something, so she hugged me. Then I had to tell her I was just crying because of the show, and she laughed at me.
Oh my, you’re quite knowledgeable :) I do both too. I learn all my songs on acoustic since the strings are tougher to hold down, so when I switch to electric it feels easier and smoother. And don’t worry about stamina, mine used to be SHIT, but I started walking more, then switched to running, and now I’m good.
That’s cool! Mythology really is such a fascinating area to dive into. I’ve heard Stephen Fry’s takes on the classics are super fun and insightful.
Also, that’s awesome that you draw! I totally get why you’d keep an art account separate, it’s nice to have a space that’s just yours without worrying about people you know judging it. I do the same with my music/spam account. On there I follow a ton of cool fashion, music, and yuri accounts. What kind of stuff do you usually like to draw?
And nah, don’t worry, it’s not disrespectful at all, you’re just curious. Why do I love yuri so much? Well, I find yuri beautiful, truly beautiful, the way it’s written and portrayed feels so raw, real, and lovely and at times cute. The emotions are genuinely there. People sometimes ask, “oh, if you like yuri, why not also read yaoi?” But the thing is, even though both are queer works, they’re not just two sides of the same coin. They feel like they come from two completely different universes. Yaoi written by women is often written for women. But yuri, whether written by women or men, feels like it’s written for everyone, especially sapphic women.
Also, a lot of yuri doesn’t just focus on smut, there’s usually a really intriguing plot at the center, and the smut on the side just makes it even sexier. But with yaoi, I’ve noticed that once the smut is introduced, the plot often just disappears. Personally, I just really love female characters and stories that are compelling and emotional, and that’s exactly what yuri has to offer.
