Yeahh .. well i calculate it and all and based on that , it will take me around 14 years to fisnih it and not counted all the anime that will come too .....
No worries, glad to help! I honestly think the "Journey to the End of the Night" can be an interesting book to read, so I'm happy that you'll give it a shot someday! I find it interesting to try out more classical fictional works to diversify what you're consuming, that's a pretty cool initiative actually! Oh, you're reading some of Dostoïevski works!! That's awesome, I remembered reading The Brothers Karamazov and White Nights more young ^^ Personally I'm pretty open to anything as long as the characters and story marks from me. But I needed to choose I would probably say detective novel, thriller and psychological horror are my favorite genres. I like to try to spot the most hints and information in my watching or reading until the final revelation makes the whole story make sense, it's such a satisfying feeling of investigation ahah That's why in anime or books, I tend to like more mystery and thrilling stories full of plotwist and secrets :D
I'm glad if i could succeed to recommend some books that you could actually enjoy ! :D I think i could propose you three french classic books to start with : " Le Comte de Monte-Cristo " written by Alexandre Dumas ; " Voyage au bout de la nuit " written by Louis-Ferdinand Céline ; " Les Liaisons dangereuses " written by Pierre-Ambroise-François Choderlos de Laclos ! But i would be curious to know which genre of books you prefer, i could probably propose you some books that you could enjoy more this way ahah ^^
