The first story arc overstays its welcome dragging to like 10 episodes. 10-20 is alright with some good and not so good episodes. 20-30 definitely feels like a steady increase in overall quality.
Maybe just don't start ZZ the second you finish Zeta.
I'm watching it for the first time now and I'm mad I ever listened to the people who said to skip it.
Just know what you're getting into with the first half beforehand.
