i've checked it out, and yah, no wonder why my bro likes it, besides its comic reliefs, ecchi is really present...ahaha, it should be categorized as shounen..^_^ lol
i love Bleach and Naruto too..i really really love them..
and you're righjt, it's really kinda relaxing to watch romantic shoujo anime's or read manga's about them, but it's also kinda fun especially if they have humor in them, lots and lots of humor..^_^
So what do you study when not waitressing?
Ahh so you do end up getting some good tips sometimes eh. Thats nice. Hmm, I never knew customers were picky. Mostly over here, people ask for something and take it minding their business for the rest of the evening. Rarely have I seen someone nitpicking about food/drinks, though I don't exactly eat out all that much, so perhaps I'm talking with blinders on~
No no, theres barely any fighting for the girl. All four boys are tres cute, and only one is interested in her throughout. Another develops interest for a while... but that resolves itself well. But it's funny and well made with a HUGE budget which shows. Don't miss out on it!
lol...^_^ i think it's really great to know others with similar likes...=) ahaha..you really changed your pic..from what anime is it?
mines from Spiral: suiri no kizuna...it has both an anime and manga..although the anime was left hanging..tsk..-_-
Hmm, well it says on my profile, under location that I stay in New Delhi, India, so I didn't think I needed to restate it. Maybe I would like to visit MN, I do SO love the cold. You have no idea how annoyingly HOT it is where I stay. And it gets hotter every year!
So you're a cocktail waitress? That sounds nice! Are the customers roudy and uncouth or do you have a good time serving regular clients?
PS I totally agree with the shounen vs shoujo part. I do NOT understand girls who like Naruto when there are romances to be read, but oh well... to each his own!
When you find the time, you should try watchin the korean drama "Boys before flowers", its based on the manga hana yori dango, and though the korean faces and language takes a while to get used to, I was really into the show starting episode 5~! There are 25 total episodes and each is about 65 minutes long! Good fun!
I don't live in the US, though I may come there for my Master's studies. I applied to NYU and it's not a very far off chance, so hopefully I've live with my sister who'll start work there next month. Hmm, but ironically she was earlier going to work @ target in Minnesota too! Then she got another opportunity to work with Walmart, and she took it.
Ahh, so many thank yous for the kind words. I try to include details because there really ARE mangas for each and every taste bud out there. There is just soo much to choose from, so someone should be there to tell you and me what we'd like and what's not worth our attention!
Sugar.... once you see the main bishie and how he's constantly seducing/trying to (!) the shoujo, you are going to fall in love! HARD! It's like sex on a stick, deep fried, coated with melty mozarella, served with corn chips and salsa and the fruitiest iced tea ever! Hahahhaha... it is THAT good and somewhat less childish sounding than I made it seem.
What're you doing currently? I'm JUST finishing with my undergrad course. Last exam on monday!
If you like GOOD art, I recommend Motomi Kyousuke and Toma Rei, again, toma rei's heroines look stupid, but comparatively, there's a cleaner style than minami kanan. Ooh and of course Asami Miyabi.
But honestly, off late, I fell the BEST bishounen is by Mitsuki Miko (Koi Hirari), where the heroine looks just as pretty and realistic as well. I also like the childish expressions she uses in her works.
Hmm, manga SERIOUSLY I've only been reading since about February beginning, with Zettai Kareshi being my first, but before that, I owned about 5 volumes of Fushigi Yuugi manga, which I browsed through whenever I felt nostalgic. But now I'm OBSSESSED!
Anime watching, again, I saw my first anime in 5th standard (1997), bt then the real deal started in 8th (2000) when I saw Fushigi Yuugi on AXN! Oh I was in looove! I'm not a big anime watcher though. Mostly because I dont see much TV and I feel watching anime takes too long. I enjoy some of them... but most move too slowly for me. And the art is SO much better when it comes to manga!
