People glorifying a regular show is not something new. Attracting the crowd with easy tricks is not so hard.
But isn't being a solid show still a good thing after all?

Well then I'd like to recommend you to try Dorohedoro, if you don't get easily turned down by CG animation (which is nice there anyway). The manga is popular, but the anime is kinda forgotten, although it just aired in 2020.
I see you are watching Chainsaw Man. How do you like it?
CSM constantly gets compared to Dorohedoro, with Dorohedoro being a more adult and wackier version.
This is the thing I love Dorohedoro for and have hopes on Chainsaw Man: its specific humor, abundant gore and overall insanity and surrealism feels like you are watching some Tarantino movie. And all that somehow manages to harmonically get mixed with slice of life elements.

Well, you want something retro? Are you ok with the older animation?
I see you liked Cowboy Bebop but haven't watched Samurai Champloo yet. Same director, same vibes, same mix of everything.
And what about some super popular titles, for example, Great Teacher Onizuka, Trigun, Hellsing, Berserk?
For something less popular yet unique, my personal choice is Kyou Kara Ore Wa.

And Attack on titan last season has anti hero theme too. SO atleast I'll love AOT last season story, its just that MAPPA animation isn't as good as Wit studio. OR else I would have rated it 10. Revenge themed animes are a great watch.

oH YEAH no worries i know exactly what you mean!! i kinda find it funny bc girls do enjoy shonen too- but i certainly have seen a bit of high school dxd lmaooo, im straight but the fanservice certainly isnt bad at all LMAOO- i mean.. the plot yeah- nice plot..
