What have been your favorites this year?

Sorry for the late reply. I've been so busy with work I haven't had time for MAL!

1. Insomniacs After School is my favorite this season. It may end up in the Iyashikei Hall of Fame. Wholesome but intense romance. Feel good story. Animation, art, and music are the best of the year so far. I'm pretty sure it will be a 10 for me.
2. Skip to Loafer (Skip and Loafer) is one of the most wholesome high school romances you will ever find. At least, I think it's a romance. But the main characters may not end up as a couple until season 2. It's fun, funny, heartwarming. 10/10 so far.
3. Yamada-kun to Lv999... is probably the most popular rom-com of the season, and it's awesome. The music and soundtrack is original and adds a lot to the great animation.
4. Jijou wo Shiranai Tenkousei ga Guigui Kuru (My Clueless First Friend) is an underrated comedy about 5th graders who become best friends, and the awkwardness of a boy-girl friendship. Give it a try. It is cute and fun and sort of romantic in an awkward 5th grade way. This and Insomniacs are on HiDive. The other two on Crunchyroll.

I see you are watching Sweetness & Lightning. I hope you enjoy it. The anime covers the first 19 of 63 total chapters in the manga. I highly recommend the manga as well. It covers a lot more of their story. Enjoy!
