Hehe no problem (◕‿◕)
I thought I don't like Haikyuu anymore because my preference has changed since I last watched the series. However, it seems like this season is just not that good. Most of the time, I actually don't like the training arcs in Haikyuu. I like the official matches the most.
Yup -.- I prefer the old ones :( It's now similar with the manga :(
_shizukku_ Feb 23, 2020 8:29 PM
Oh, I see. I haven't actually started any anime from this season, only Haikyuu S4 lol. I'm waiting for more episodes to come out. I'll start them early next month.

Good luck to your exams btw! :D

As for this season of Haikyuu, I'd say that it's kinda weak compared to the previous ones, but overall, it is still good :D

Yup >/////<
I can't pick only one because they are great in different ways.

Oh, I see. I liked Kakashi as well when I was still watching Naruto (⌒▽⌒)☆
BTW, are you watching any shows this Winter 2020? ٩(◕‿◕。)۶

Ah, Bungou Stray Dogs is pretty good. It concerns these private detectives with special powers squaring off against the port mafia and other criminals. It's not ground breathtakingly original but it is well put together. There are some cool and amusing characters in it, and they're all named after famous writers LOL. If/when you give it a go let me know what you think about it!

Welcome! Nice to meet you!

Mm, I guess I choose which anime to watch in a variety of ways. I might see if the title, the synopsis, or the promotional artwork piques my interest. Sometimes I will read reviews (including MAL reviews) - and I'd be lying if I said that the overall MAL rating doesn't influence me somewhat. Also, recommendations from MAL friends, and just what's the hot topic of the moment would enthuse me enough to give something a go. I'd like to try some JoJo's myself, and I guess with this one - reviews, ratings, and the hype, are key factors behind my interest! How about you, why are you interested in JoJo's? How do you decide on what to watch next?
_shizukku_ Feb 15, 2020 8:25 AM
Same thoughts here xD I haven't watched the episode that came up today though xD

Hmmmmm well...it's actually difficult to pick only one lol ( ̄ω ̄) I can't even pick my number 1 fave ( ̄ω ̄)

Haha, thanks for the compliment. I always try to write out everything nicely for friends!

Ah, only the first seasons. Well, everyone has their own system I guess, and these things can take up a lot of time. I suppose Bleach is quite long at 366 episodes and 16 seasons LOL - but it is quite easy to get into and enjoy IMO. Bleach is another one I'd like to rewatch, but there are so many things accumulating now! There's just so much choice of anime that it could keep you busy for the rest of your life :D

Naruto can also win anyone around from the wrong path (the evil path) like he did with Pain and Obito. Wow, Obito needed so much convincing though!

Yes, Itachi was an incredibly significant and influential character. He was a child prodigy, and I think he joined the Anbu Black Op's at age seven. He was perhaps the most naturally talented Shinobi there ever was. Yeah, Kushina was a really loving mom y'know - aka The Red Hot Habanero :D

Woah, it's going back a long time. I started with Ghost in the Shell (the series) 8 and a half years ago, but Bleach was the first series I was properly a fan of (8 years ago) and I would eagerly look forward to getting the next DVD release! Have you heard anything about Ghost in the Shell? Would you be interested in watching it in the future? It's quite a complex science fiction thriller set in the future. The main character Major Kusanagi is really admirable and it's nice to see a female as the leader of a crack team of operatives. It's been a while since I watched it but talking about it makes me interested in reacquainting myself with it :D

PS, I can see you've already seen Bleach! Who are your favourite characters? Some of mine are: Rukia, Ichigo, Yachiru, Kenpatchi, Yoruichi, Soi Fon, Ikaku, Nelliel, Toshiro, and Ukitake!

Ah, I'm planning to rewatch both 3-gatsu seasons as well. I watched them with such attention, focus, and awe, that it feels like I've seen them multiple times already. I'm saving the repeat performance as a special experience for myself when I really need a boost, or a lift out of the mundane! Watching the series is a bit similar to a big warm affectionate hug :D

Yeah, I first began my journey with Naruto something like 6 years ago, and he (and the series) soon became a big inspiration for me. He motivated me so much and taught me to never to give in to despair and hopeless - even if you've not been born into the easiest circumstances in life. I was overjoyed when he finally got together with Hinana at the end. I was very close to tears - but they were tears of happiness. It was especially moving considering everything they had been through during the previous 720 episodes, which lead them up to the public display of their love - like when Hinata tries to protect Naruto from Pain for example. I remember that Naruto had the hots for Sakura for a very long time and was totally oblivious that Hinata even liked him in a romantic way. I don't understand why she's acting weird (getting red and shy) every time she's talking to me LOL. Characters like Rei and Naruto are the type of people you wish you could meet in the real world - loyal, kind, sincere friends with hearts of gold :D

Kakashi is a great character and he was there right at the start - as the leader of Team 7. He taught his three young understudies many things like putting your teammates first, and that good teamwork is the key to success. Those who abandon the mission are scum, but those who abandon their teammates are worse than scum - was one of his well know sayings! He's also really handsome - when we got a glimpse of his face underneath the mask for the first time! It was funny how many times the youngsters cooked up schemes and plots to try and sneak a peak LOL. Why do you like Kakashi so much? Also, who are some of the other characters you really like? It can be as many as you want! Some of mine are: Konahamaru, Shikamaru, Shino, Ino, Hinata, Sakura, Might Guy, Lady Tsunade, Gaara - and Kakashi of course! My fave villains are: Orochimaru, Kabuto, Sasori, Kisame, Deidara, Pain, Obito, and Itachi (I know he redeems himself in the end though)!

It was so sweet how the three sisters took Rei under their wing and kinda nurtured him back to life when he was struggling to look after himself, and even to eat properly. Some of the foods that they would cook looking so tasty, the whole series was like a foodie's delight! Hinata's story - with undergoing and then dealing with the bullying at school was quite moving I thought. Yeah, there are quite a few different characters that it focuses on. My fave episode is probably in season 2 when the train that Rei and Souya (the grand-master/meijin) is on is cancelled because of the typhoon and they have to find temporary lodgings for the night. Rei has to look after Souya because he's completely in a world of his own, and doesn't know how to take care of the regular details in life. It was just so picturesque and the atmosphere was totally captivating. It was so beautifully done.

I've known a few Hero Academia fans who were wary of talking about Mineta LOL. I think it's a good thing that there's someone like him around though - to break up the tension of the serious stuff.

Hayashi has done many fine pieces, from lots of different soundtracks for anime and drama series, as well as as lots of individual tracks. He has a certain style in his harmony writing and orchestration that I can usual recognise.
