I think what makes this interesting the most is that they're building a civilization from the scratch with the knowledge of building it
I must admit I'm generally lost in Senku's science talk, save for when Senku explained radar without revealing it, I was like "OMG HE'S TALKING ABOUT RADAR" before Ukyo realized it
The final season is pretty intense so far, I just feel like over time they started to just craft stuff on spot which feels far-fetched compared to previous seasons but I'm just they're subtly fast forwarding
But the producers really seem to be into their production, there is a behind the scenes episode where they show how they actually went to a glassmaker to see how to craft a vial and it's funny how their own experience is reflected to anime
Exactly, tbh I barely read comments and stuff, ignorance is bliss. Because if I really liked it and I'll have to resist the urge to defend it. Sometimes the opposite also happen to me, I end up in the minority of not liking something most people like lol. And I didn't think it was weird haha, what do you think of your review now? xD
It's okay, can't win them all. Maybe it's not necessarily the dynamics people disliked, it's just that it got overshadowed by My Dress-Up Darling which aired just before it. Because I was checking the reviews out of curiosity and I noticed plenty of people got disillusioned with it because of My Dress-Up Darling which had similar dynamics yet somehow was more successful. I also think Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie is not kind of anime where you should expect be expecting some kind of depth because while both are romantic comedies it falls more on the comedy side while My Dress-Up Darling falls more on the romance side but they don't really seem to be taking this into account
I also saw your review btw I'm giving it a like :D
I think the dynamics were already clear from the PVs and synopsis lol, it’s like watching a horror movie and say you hated it because you got too scared. Tbh on the contrary I’m not a big fan when the girl too shy or uncool. And I think male MCs in romance anime generally have a wimpy side anyways, not that I'm a fan of it either but I got used to it. I think it is the best when there is a balance in the dynamics
No worries it's good to see you :D I hope your finals went well!!! Tbh it's been 3.5 years since I watched it so I don't remember much rn but Shikimori was very cute I really enjoyed it, I love romance like that. I didn't even know it was overhated 😭
Ohh welp yeah I don't think I can find that book 😭 but yeah I can see how they are correlated. Ah, so you will watch the rest someday? :D
I like Naruto and Fate series, tho it's been while since last time I watched either. Naruto was the first anime I watched (as in me knowing the concept of anime) and nothing could replace it as my favorite ever since.. I generally enjoy action shounen kinda series like FMA:B, Soul Eater, DanMachi, BNHA, Re:Zero, SnK (admittedly I watched it very late lol) and also like romance, sports, school kinda series e.g. KnB, Monogatari, Haikyuu, Blue Lock, Megami no Café Terrace, Shikimori is Not Just a Cutie, Alya-san etc. etc. :D
So basically it’s everything from the scratch!! It’s okay I don’t mind fanservice and stupid moments. It’s for the better Xd What was the book? Well, I’ll watch them too likely and keep you updated. I won’t spoil anything of course XD
Oohhh sounds interesting. I kinda always assumed it's just another shounen, but I judged the book from the cover.. I like philosophy (well mostly Stoicism but still) and ancient civilizations, so I think I might like a unique take on it, especially when you say it made you appreciate everything you have in life right now. I'll watch something else quick after what I'm watching rn and then I'll start watching it since I think it's kinda gonna be long journey as I see it has sequels one after another xD
Ohhhh it's fine dw about it I don't mind that at all!! Thank you, I wish you a happy new year as well 🙂↕️
Btw I wanted to ask, what makes Dr. Stone great? I know someone who is also a fan of Gen but I'm curious of your opinion as well, I'm still yet watch it
