I don't rate movies, specials and ovas. I don't believe they be can properly ranked among regular anime.
I also only rank the very first season of anime to not pollute the list. The score for one is the score for all.

10 - What lands an anime here is pure bias. That last score point is personal opinion.
9 - Highest rated anime. Anyone of them could potentially climb to the next spot.
8 - Anime that reached the top. They are unbelievably good, but everything above them is beyond good.
7 - Still very good anime, but unfortunately you have flaws and sadly I can't put you any higher.
6 - You are worth a watch. You are still good. Though you are undeniably flawed.
5 - Your flaws got the better of you. I'm questioning if you are worth it still.
4 - You aren't worth my time.
3 - You are simply bad, no sugarcoating it.
2 - You are unwatchable, but lucky that are things simply beyond awful.
1 - Finishing you was a torture. You made me question my sanity throughout every single episode.

I regularly re-evaluate my scores to keep a smooth distribution, what makes some scores inflated at times. 10/10 tier is quite biased currently, as if I would rank only deserving places there it would be 1/3 of what it currently is. At times I will screw up 9/10 and 8/10 classification too. This happens because most anime I watch would rank 7/10 in a purely technical definition and that messes up with the distribution, so I have to score some anime higher to balance the distribution.
As for the scores below 5/10, they aren't reliable at all. Something bad is just bad, you can't evaluate badness. Some anime maybe don't deserve to be there, but something ought to.


Check my anime list, I designed it myself. All the ones I found online were utterly cluttered and impractical.
