In my defense, i'm not 16 anymore with unlimited time to watch everything even if I'm actively disliking it. I literally watched all of Naruto's (not Shippuden), filler episodes because, one I didn't know they were filler, and two I had wayyy too much time on my hands. Atleast fast forwarding to 1.5x and watching it is better than letting it play in the background while I'm doom scrolling on YT :)

In the later seasons, the thousand year blood war, some character finally get some story to them, after 200+ episodes, at which point it just felt like the author just made stuff up as nothing is foreshadowed, nothing at all. But anyway, other characters get to be cool, finally.

Mind you there are like 25+ named, recurring characters out there

Yeah, I've been watching it rather than working on my job, lol. I did skip all the fillers and fast forwarded through some fights as no name character 1 was fighting no name character 2, while no name character 2 revives like 4 times. Got tedious real quick.

The only fights (out of like 50) that I genuinely enjoyed are the following in order of enjoyment
Ichigo vs Ulquiorra (best fight in the show. Insane how a fight can become enjoyable when you know who are fighting and why)
Ichigo vs Kenpachi
Ichigo vs Renji
Ichigo vs Byakuya

See how only the main character gets cool fights? That's how it is throughout the show

the first two arcs are genuinely pretty good. Overall, I'll give a 7/10 to just the first two arcs; get's way too deep in the weeds after that, introducing tons of characters left and right, and even with 200 episodes, doesn't manage to do anything with them.

The side characters are pretty good, in the first 2 arcs at least, then they are thrown away. Orihime was a pretty good female char in the main group, but after a certain arc all she does is have bigger boobs everytime she appears.

There's a character, Urahara, who is such a wasted potential. Also, Bleach got its own Johan + Light character. Mf planned everything in existence lol
