Well tbh I don't feel bad for Rem because Subaru already told her that he loves Emilia even before Rem fell for him so Rem shouldn't have proposed to Subaru because deep inside she already knew the answer. She knew that Subaru would say "I love Emilia" and that is the reason why she didn't get depressed over it.
I highly recommend you to continue. Overall it depends on your tastes, but I found that Detective Conan felt like a very good anime. In the end, it is up to you :)
