Yeah, all that you say is true. My favorite horror's branch is psychological horror. Stuff like Serial Experiments Lain, that I consider the best horror show that I ever seen. It seems to me a pretty creative variant of lovecraftian horror. Sure, it's too much to demand for something that reaches that level.

Jaja. Blood-C is Cardcaptor Sakura gory version. But a lot more stupid (Saya singing flashbacks) and boring than that other and with ony 12 episodes for character relationships's development. What half-saves it are the action scenes, which are also regular for the most part due to the limited animation.

Of course you help me. I will see your psychological horror recommendations. Thanks you.

Is there any horror show that you recommend me? I am interested in the genre but I know almost nothing.

Are the other Blood installments better than Blood C?
